Our Risk Management staff use the system on a daily basis and found integration seamless. **What do you dislike about Protecht?** I can't think of any particular drawbacks. While the help desk being located in Australia can sometimes result in slightly longer response times due to the time difference, issues with the platform are so infrequent that this rarely becomes a problem once you're aware of the time zone difference. **What problems is Protecht solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before implementing Protecht, our company lacked the ability for departments to easily access and analyze their RCSAs, as well as straightforward incident reporting and the ability to define action plans. With Protecht, we now have a much clearer understanding of risk management and its significance. It's a lot better than spreadsheets for data storage. I like its configurability and flexibility, which allow me to accommodate complex data interlinkages that map onto a hierarchy. Its flexible nature means we can configure the registers to fit our operational resilience needs. Although I wasn't involved in the initial setup, I think the pre-existing modules served as a good template that we built upon, and once the configuration process is understood it's relatively easy. **What do you dislike about Protecht?** Some of the dashboarding is a little frustrating. It uses iNetSoft which is reasonably competent as a system, but it does require some a priori knowledge of database structures, joins and so on which can get quickly confusing. Other risk management systems do dashboarding a little better. **What problems is Protecht solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Protecht for storing and analyzing operational resilience data. Some times you have to wait for days to slot in a meeting. Licencing pricing is not economically flexible to cater for different size and nature of organisations. It's either 'data entry' with VERY limited access and use and FULL USER with multiple access privileges, but nothing in between. There should be other mid-range layers of access. The guides and videos are clear and make learning the ins and outs of the software easy. **What do you dislike about Protecht?** We would have liked the pricing to be more transparent before and after the implementation. Further clarification on what the standard SOW includes would also have been appreciated. This would've helped as we have some additional work done post-implementation. It would have helped to speed up the process before and when presenting the details to our senior management. **What problems is Protecht solving and how is that benefiting you?** Protecht has solved our manual Risk Management process and reporting. We are currently developing the compliance app for our Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP), which is nearly completed for our Financial Crime department. We are looking to complete the CMP for the Conduct shortly. For Internal Audit as well once our Internal Audit procedures have been finalised in our company. The software will also meet our BCP and OR requirements. We are working with the Protecht team to have the BCP in the software suited to our current methodology. We heavily rely on the software on OR as we do not have an OR methodology. They have always been open to teaching and expanding my knowledge of the system. Its easy to see that Protecht will continue to improve and become an even stronger product offering in the market. **What do you dislike about Protecht?** There is some nuance to using Protecht that may not be obvious to the average user. This is usually in the form of processes within the system (i.e. states being separate to the save button confuses a lot of users), technical terminology (maturity issue with the business, but could possibly be improved in Protecht with layman terms), and navigation. **What problems is Protecht solving and how is that benefiting you?** Protecht brings together our business's risk and compliance data into an single easily managed location. A simplified basic drag and drop style reporting tool would be great, but I understand the next version of IntelSoft will introduce greater simplicity and ease of use. However, it is essential to have an in-house administrator who manages all the modules and supports all the end users, and it gets a bit technical at times. **What problems is Protecht solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are Australia's largest Community/ Affordable Housing Provider, operate across various jurisdictions, and are regulated by multiple bodies requiring annual reporting. The smaller agencies find it challenging to do a single return once a year, as it needs full coordination with almost all the business units. We currently do that for eight entities, and I have 1.5 EFT to manage compliance returns. The best part is we have automated the workflow within the Protecht environment, and in the last three years, we have not had a single error in our compliance submissions. It’s easy to produce reports with minimal training and intuitive for consumers with little or no experience. **What do you dislike about Protecht?** There's not much I dislike about the analytics tool, but if I had to pick one improvement to analytics it would be the ability to set margins and page set-up when exporting to PowerPoint. The tool allows you to configure the print/export layout when exporting to PDF, but not in PowerPoint. It could be that I'm doing something wrong and the functionality does exist, but I haven't found it. **What problems is Protecht solving and how is that benefiting you?** The analytics tool has enabled us to automate the vast majority of our regulatory reporting, while also providing the risk event level detail required at the touch of a button.
