## Prospero Reviews
  ### 1. Game Changer.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlyn A. | Director of Production, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Prospero?**

Prospero is a game changer for The Washington Ballet. Integrating this platform has allowed us to consolidate at least 3 versions of unique department schedules with the potential for many more as features are added and explored. We continue to recieve consistent personal support from the developers for integration, training, and ongoing support. The Prospero team is always eager to hear suggestions for future development and clearly communicates where things are at in the pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Prospero?**

Prospero is still very much in development, with that comes the need for some patience as features are developed and tested. The developers are extremely responsive to fixing any bugs immediatly

**What problems is Prospero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prospero has allowed us to integrate calendars from across multiple departments. With this integration we are able to coordinate room usage across 10+ dance studios being used for over 250+ classes and rehearsals per week and coordinate the schedules of over 75 teachers and professional dancers. Additionally through the outlook/google integration events can be pushed to individuals calendars allowing them to quickly see where they are scheduled. This continues to streamline our communication, reduce discrepencies, and, as we continue to get comfortable, reduce admin hours.

  ### 2. Simple solution to a complex challenge with minimal training needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Prospero?**

If we were to custom build something for ourselves, we would have probably built something similar to Prospero. That's how intuitive and user friendly it is with anyone with basic IT knowledge and use of calendar invites. It doesn't require any additional training for staff and it integrates perfectly with simplest of workflows while keeping productions and planning structured and organised. No new apps, no new software, love it.

**What do you dislike about Prospero?**

The UI is still in its early stages and while its simplicity helps with transition and ease of use, it still lacks some UX features to speed up the workflow but this is of course something that will improve over time so just a basic waiting game.

**What problems is Prospero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were in desperate need to inventorise our equipment and keep track of projects with staff and equipment assigned to each project and considered some extremely costly services that were more tailored to larger broadcasting companies but we had no choice. Prospero helps manage our inventory, keep our productions planned while making sure there is no overlap or double booking. It also provides the perfect overview of our work. Roughly 1 year into its implementation, Prospero is the backbone of our production management and we simply cannot operate without it.

  ### 3. Great app for managing complex theater schedules

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan Patrick K. | Dean of Theater, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Prospero?**

Prospero is a visually appealing, easy to use scheduling platform specifically designed for the performing arts. Having the ability to classify and organize events by various projects, spaces, groups, attendees, etc., and make distinct viewing links for external viewers without a login is an essential way that we manage communication with various stakeholders. TV mode provides another way to get the info out easily and in a pretty package. The team has been very responsive to support requests and has been adding exciting new features, including booking request forms, inventory, and consumable tracking.

**What do you dislike about Prospero?**

As the product matures, I'm sure the UI will continue to be refined for ease of use. There are some good bulk editing tools, although sometimes they can step over important features like space conflicts/double booking. I think more comprehensive documentation, the ability to archive projects, and better quick navigation with keyboard shortcuts would make it even better.

**What problems is Prospero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Schedule communication and bookings to students, parents, faculty, staff, and contractors, not all of whom have access to internal systems.
