While performing the upgrade it was discovered that there was an issue with the function of the old scripts based on the way they were written. Rather than just leaving it for us to figure out, they stayed on the call past the alloted support hours and assisted with finding a resolution to the issue. Ultimately, Progress got additional engineers involved who reviewed our custome scripts and provided suggested modifications to correct the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The downside to Progress would be the overall preparedness to perform an upgrade on our system. They were not prepared to overcome an issue that was encountered when performing the upgrade to V24. If the upgrade would have been scheduled to be performed at an earlier time during the day, this may have allowed for the additional support from the Engineering team which was ultimately responsible for correcting the issue that was encountered.
