**What do you like best about Profitero+?**

Profitero+ gives broad retailer coverage (Amazon, grocers, general merchandisers) with a single, reliable view of availability, pricing, share of search and content compliance. The dashboards are genuinely actionable—flagging OOS, buy box and content gaps—and the Amazon depth is strong, helping us connect retail performance to media ROI so we can prioritise spend and scale what works.

**What do you dislike about Profitero+?**

While Profitero+ provides strong visibility, the data isn’t always timely or granular enough for rapid trading decisions, especially outside Amazon. Retailer coverage can be patchy in smaller EU markets, and integration with media platforms still feels manual and limited, which slows down linking spend to outcome. The tool is also complex to navigate at times, meaning extra effort is needed to extract simple, executive-ready insights.

**What problems is Profitero+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Profitero+ is helping us solve the problem of fragmented and inconsistent retailer data by consolidating sales, share, pricing and digital shelf metrics into one view. This means we can spot gaps faster (OOS, content, buy box issues), benchmark against competitors, and link retail execution to media ROI. The benefit is better prioritisation of spend and resource—focusing investment where we know it can scale and deliver a stronger return.

**What do you like best about Profitero+?**

Profitero is a tool with a quick learning curve, good rollout support, and expected data accuracy. It should be noted that its Sales & Share module is one of the most powerful and reliable on the market.

It also has an easy-to-set-up and very useful alert system.

**What do you dislike about Profitero+?**

The inclusion of another data source such as Amazon Advertising and KPIs like Share of Search or Share of Voice is also missing. With this integration, it would be a much more comprehensive tool.

Profitero allows us to monitor our product performance on our suppliers websites and gives us support on how we can constantly make improvements and optimise our product content across these customer websites.

**What do you dislike about Profitero+?**

The implementation process of one customer site can sometimes be difficult and time consuming, it could be difficult to do on a mass scale.

**What problems is Profitero+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Montoring how our products are displayed on customers websites was very difficult but now profitero does this for us and allows us to inform customers on how they're meeting our expectations.

**What do you like best about Profitero+?**

I have been a profitero customer in 3 different businesses. They have great robust data in most markets. The partnership goes above and beyond buying data to utilise. Where often eCom teams are small and stretched Profitero provide support on how organizations should build out eCom functions, how to organize to get the most from digital shelf & integrate that into your business processes, thought leadership & supporting you bring the outside in. 

With their new partnership extending further into media space I only see improved integrations in data between digital & eCommerce. They are a trusted partner and really go above and beyond. The insights that they can provide both with the core product and insights have supported my digital development in numerous businesses and they never lose sight of their core product in the process. 

The account team are very responsive, supportive and on the whole work to undeerstand your unique challenges. In the time i've used them the onboarding process and category update process has drastically improved. They really want to hear your feedback, always act on the feedback and want to make new solutions you need in your business.

**What do you dislike about Profitero+?**

Category updates & new NPD to your category can be a challenge & requires you to be able to tell profitero about any new news you are expecting. 

Teh coverage of Asian markets is still limited and need some improvements where store based analytics are intrinsic to the market (eg France). 

There can be issues in reporting or during updates, it isn't always right first time however account team & customer care are always quick to resolve.

We now have visibility of our & our competitors performance on digital shelf to know where to spend time & money improving.

I like that Profitero does not have a week lag in reporting.

There are not real down sides.  Once I found a TPR price was missing, but that was once in a multitude of reports.  I understand they are scraping pricing more often.

I think they are working to solve this, but we currently use Profitero as one of several platforms to give us what we need. I would love for Profitero to be the one stop shop for all things digital shelf. Analytics, content quality review & creation, digital retail media, maybe even managed  services and more.

Profitero tracks all of the relevant areas for digital shelf - availability, placement, content, reviews and pricing

Profitero reports on product and keyword page placement, including organic and sponsored ranks

Support staff are solid

Flexibility of the custom categories is good

For our industry which has a lot of innovation, product matching was a time-consuming and complicated process that requires input on both vendor and Profitero side

There is very little self-service options (there is limited product-matching self-service option they can turn on for you, but it is not in bulk and one product at a time)

The dashboard is not user-friendly and not appealing enough for us to share with executives

Product-matching in Sales & Share is done at a quarterly level which is good for categories with lots of innovation

Bugs in the reporting, it's not frequent, but it does happen. The customer care is prompt at resolving them so it's not that bad.

The best thing is the impressive UI that gives a more connected feel to the user.
Secondly, it's predictive intelligence that helps you to take intelligence. It analyzes more than 100 variables to give recommendations.

One thing that can be improved overall is the pictorial data i.e if data becomes more clustered the pictorial data like charts become a little clumsy and hard to interprets ome times(only when data is more clustered).

**What do you like best about Profitero+?**

Their Ecom analytics tool is best and ROI usually crosses 30-40% which is pretty good in the industry. They provide the best view of your Amazon product growth in the industry. Benchmarking against the competition is a very good and niche feature. They have always helped us in performance management so we can look at the firm working towards its core objectives.

**What do you dislike about Profitero+?**

The product is good but they can add retailers to the platform so we can have a holistic view. Also,  they can improve the product UI sometimes things are not as per our business requirements.

they are so many problems they have solved and now we feel that they are indispensable. They have helped in ROI improvements, and performance management, every KPI from the dashboard is very critical and hence we take it seriously. It is benefitting us a lot.

It is very good when it comes to customize raw data report. Also great support centre. Very good features as Assortment & Availability and Product Content

It is not very intuitive. Also i think daily cadence its too much and it would be better weekly. Features as Ratings & Reviews and Placement give you some insight on how well your products operate, but you can do almost nothing about it, so you end up not using them

Profitero has been a boon in increasing the revenue for the small and medium-scale enterprises. Its insights are very vital in increasing the quarterly revenue of the product. Thereby increasing profit.

I think Profitero has to include some email alert mechanisms conveying it to respected stakeholders so that they can take decisions and join hands in improving the target sales and revenue.

It is very easy to use and they have been great to work with. Really helpful when needing amazon data.

It would be nice if they had additional retailers so we could look at all our retailers together.

We are able to look at individual ASINS and see our top performers which is so helpful when creating our assortments. Also very helpful with competitive research

**What do you like best about Profitero+?**

Profitero has worked with us in the spirit of partnership which is always appreciated.  We find new ways to improve the workflow or reporting for instance and their engineers are very responsive.  The product has greatly improved in the past couple of years that we've been a client.
The data in these digital shelf platforms are disclaimed as being "directional" since they are estimates.  That said, we found that Profitero's data is a bit better than OCR meaning that using a baseline of our own sales reports, their estimates on our product sales and unit volume are within 10% of actual.

**What do you dislike about Profitero+?**

Improvement can always be made by adding more retailers of course.  We always want to get the broadest view of the entire digital shelf which includes all marketplaces, independent retailers, etc.  A tall order but the hope is that Profitero and systems like them could be the online version of our NPD data (which is stores-based). 

**Recommendations to others considering Profitero+:**

Look at the free output from the Profitero data. Especially Keith Anderson's blog posts.  Proof to us that they have data chops.   The animation of price changes over a six month period on Amazon by brand was a game changer to our strategy.

**What problems is Profitero+ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This has become one of our main competitive research tools for Amazon in particular.  For some categories the sales volume on Amazon mimics the market so we use that as a barometer for market share.  The fact that we can drill down to exact ASINs to see which are the top sellers is critical for our own new product development.  Once we identify the ASINs we can research them using our Clarabridge platform to determine the star rating rationale.  Very powerful and the combination gives the product managers extremely detailed and actionable insight.
