I enjoyed the online course even though I was in an unfortunate situation of being in a class taught in Pacific Time, but living in the East Coast. The course is laid out in 2 parts:
First, is where we have to go through the self-study sessions. These sessions include a lot of theory and typically take about an hour or so to get enough information to be able to collaborate fully in the class, but are also filled with other resources including articles, blogs, videos, and an intro to multiple PM tools.
Second, is a review of the self-study lead by Ivan and then an interactive session working on a project to help internalize the material. These sessions would include breaking up into random breakout rooms and matching with different individuals in the class to work on a different part of the product lifecycle. Ivan did a wonderful job in creating a truly interactive and safe space where people were excited to collaborate and truly pick eachothers brains. At the end of each interactive session there would be a review of the project we had done by having teams share theire project and then Ivan would provide feedback. I really benefited from this portion of the course as we are given an opportunity to pick eachothers minds and this is also how I like to learn things.
My instructor, Ivan Iannaccone, brought vast industry knowledge and experience to the table. He was very approachable, sincere and supportive throughout the course. It was his first time teaching the course and we did struggle with technical difficulties to start, but he was quick to familiarize himself with the resources and tools and quickly created a space where we can learn seamlessly. I think the majority of the class benefited the most when he was fielding questions at the end of each lesson because he is able to dive into his own experience to provide unique insights on how to approach certain situations. However, I benefited the most since he did a wonderful job in providing energy for the course by instilling confidence in me as it was clear he truly believed that everyone in the class was more than capable of a successful career in Product and wants nothing but success for everyone in the course. It was truly a pleasure to learn from him. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For the price of the course there were quite a bit of technical difficulties and things were not very seamless. There were also some inconsistency with the material that could have been captured earlier vs later during class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would say that maybe a good improvement would be the platform itself where the contents are hosted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I recently participated in this 6-week virtual Product Management certification course, and it was an outstanding experience. The course structure seamlessly blended self-paced pre-work modules with engaging instructor-led sessions.
The pre-work modules were meticulously crafted, providing in-depth insights into the subject matter. The detailed content was enriched with diagrams, informative videos, real-world samples, ready-to-use templates, and knowledge checks, making it a comprehensive and accessible resource. These modules not only equipped us with the fundamentals but also ensured we could apply them effectively.
The instructor-led modules were where the course truly shone. Our instructor, Anjaly Joseph, played a pivotal role in making these sessions valuable. Her adept management of the cohort ensured that the fast-paced, interactive sessions were both effective and enjoyable. She fostered a collaborative atmosphere that encouraged active learning and participation. Her guidance and feedback were instrumental in our growth as Product Managers.
The group work during these sessions was a highlight, providing practical, hands-on experience in creating various documents and presenting them to the cohort. This approach not only reinforced our understanding but also allowed us to apply our knowledge in a real-world context.
Overall, this course was a well-rounded learning journey, and the combination of well-structured pre-work modules and the invaluable instructor-led sessions made it a truly exceptional experience. I feel more confident and well-prepared in the field of Product Management thanks to this course, and I am deeply grateful for our instructor's guidance and expertise. It may be beneficial to explore options for improving the accessibility and ease of finding instructor-led presentations on the website.
Also, my class is on a Saturday, so responses take a bit of time when I need support. However, I was always assisted by the Support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I completed Product School's Product Manager Certificate course and enthusiastically award it a 5-star rating. I highly recommend it to anyone pursuing a career in product management.
My instructor for the cohort was Anjaly Joseph, she has a lot of experience to reference and the whole group learned a lot from her.
Product School's standout feature is its comprehensive course material. They offer a well-structured curriculum that covers all aspects of the general product management role. What I appreciate most is their flexible approach to learning, which includes video tutorials, written resources, and engaging live sessions. This diversity accommodates various learning styles.
The live sessions are interactive and provides a sense of community. They are complemented by the guided videos and written resources, which serve as valuable references long after the course ends.
Product School's emphasis on personal responsibility is a distinctive feature. It encourages students to take ownership of their learning journey, preparing them for the decision-making and problem-solving inherent in the product manager role.
In summary, the Product Manager Certificate course at Product School is a well-rounded and professional experience. It equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in product management. I'm extremely satisfied with this program and look forward to applying my newfound expertise in my future career. I wholeheartedly recommend Product School to aspiring product managers. One minor aspect I encountered during my course was related to the new course structure introduced to my cohort. In some instances, it seemed that we lacked clear qualifying requirements for assignments, making it a bit challenging to gauge the success or failure of our presentations. However, it's worth noting that as the course continued, these issues gradually resolved, and I believe that Product School will continue to refine and enhance the experience for future cohorts. This minor hiccup did not significantly detract from the overall value and quality of the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Product School has been an incredible learning experience for me. The structure of the course stands out right away. It's jam-packed with valuable insights, and it's clear they've brought in real industry professionals to deliver the content. They've built the programme such that even someone who is absolutely new to Product Management can hop right in and start studying. With my background in Software Engineering, I was curious about the dynamics of the class, but I found a diverse group: designers, data analysts, marketers, and more. And that's where Anjaly Joseph, our instructor, truly shined. Anjaly seamlessly integrated real-life examples into our sessions, making complex concepts relatable. She wasn't just amicable and approachable; she had this knack for molding our thinking, guiding us to think and act like seasoned Product Managers.
The course is designed so that you dive into modules each week and then apply what you've learned in hands-on sessions. These are not passive classes; they are active workshops in which we practise module topics in groups. It's a fun approach to reinforce learning while also getting a taste of real-world Product Management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A lot of students in our group had issues on the Mural platform and weren't aware of the self-study sessions. Product School could smooth this out by scheduling a short 30-minute orientation before our first hands on session to ensure everyone's on track and aligned! PS uses experienced PM practitioners who offer practical, real-world advice to guide you through the program. I had an amazing lecturer, Mr. Gordon, who was experienced and always open to addressing your concerns.
The program was holistic in that, apart from taking me through the product lifecycle stages, I was also taught how to use various software and tools PMs utilize and apply them to particular scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I actually didn't have any dislikes. The course was structured well; the Lecturers were experienced and very helpful. The student support service was very good. Overall I had a wonderful experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The product management course by Product school is one of the best investment by an aspiring product manager.
The course clearly breaks down the fundamentals of product management in a software company.
And having a Tutor like Lenworth Gordon is a cherry on the icing.
Definitely one of the highlights in my career. Built some great relationships during the 8 week course. Highly recommend the course and if you get a chance, try to get Lenworth as your tutor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None at this point. Quite happy with everything Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I recently completed the Product School program with my cohort and overall, it was a great experience. The lessons were well-structured and easy to follow, making it a great resource for anyone hoping to connect the various aspects of product management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
However, we did experience an untimely extension due to our instructor having to take leave mid-program. Thankfully, Lenworth could take over and continue guiding us through the rest of the lessons. While I appreciated the content, I wish there were more hands-on sessions to reinforce my understanding. Also, the Docebas was not user-friendly; maybe another system would be better. The instructor of the course was very knowledgeable and an active product leader at Amazon. It was great having his perspective on the course materials and the work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The final project was a group project. I understand why it was a group project, but I would have preferred being graded on an individual project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Course: The curriculum is comprehensive and a fantastic introduction to anyone who has not previously worked in product roles. If you have product experience, one of the advanced courses may be better suited. That said, I would treat the course as a starting point in the journey rather than the destination itself. This is because, while broad, the curriculum doesn't explore the topics in depth. This is not a complaint because much of product management is contextual and challenging to teach, let alone in a 2-month part-time course. The course equips one with the tools and framework to apply to different product management situations. There are a lot of resources in the form of articles, videos, templates, and exercises that can be used to explore topics of interest further.
My instructor, Ivan Iannaccone, brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. While I cannot speak for other instructors, Ivan was sincere, extremely approachable, and supportive throughout the course. Although his first time teaching, he quickly familiarized himself with the resources and tools and hit his stride pretty early. In my opinion, Ivan's value shines through when he is fielding questions from the cohort. He is able to dive into his own experiences to provide unique and useful insights and also willing to meet the students offline to answer questions and help them through specific challenges they may be facing in their workplaces. It was a pleasure to learn from him. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My only gripe with the course was the quality of some of the exercises and resources. At the price point, I would expect everything to be seamless, but that wasn't always the case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The course covers the whole gamut of Product Management, from building roadmaps, leading engineers, and stakeholders to visioning and strategy. The course also offered a wide range of templates needed for Product Management, which were very useful. The instructor (Sreekanth Bhattiprolu) was amazing in sharing real-life experiences with us and making the course more interactive with team discussions. All participants were actively engaging and sharing their experiences at work on every topic, which was very interesting to learn about different perspectives at different workplaces. Product School also builds a good community which goes a long way in networking. Overall, I would recommend Product School. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would have been more helpful if the courses had more sessions included so that everything could be addressed in detail without concern about course timeline Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
