The community and camaraderie.
As a new solo PMM, it was quite draining and daunting trying to teach myself and my organisation about Product Marketing. Especially when I didn't fully understand it myself.
I was hesitatant to join for a while, mostly because I'm self-funded. But I so glad I did. I feel like I've developed more in 4 months than I did in last 3 years.
The core course was great and I'm enjoying the masters courses but it was the weekly workshops that really sold it for me - they're like Group Therapy for Product Marketers. Harvey Lee is a total legend, I learnt so much from him and it was a fantastic forum to bring any challenge your facing to a virtual room of smart, engaged people.
I love the tools and templates, and it seems like they are adding new ones quite regularly. There's a bank of really engaging content too, as you get on-demand access to all the Summit talks they've ever done, and regular email updates on pertinent product marketing topics from a range on industry experts.
Finally, you get a PMA Summit ticket included in your membership, and it's probably the best marketing conference I've been too. Great networking opportunities, inspiring and interesting talks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The mentorship programme: it sucks. Well, it's more non-existant. It was one of the things I was most excited about when I signed up. I spent 30 mins completing all the profile steps, waited a few days to find out all the mentors were unavailable. Please try again, but it's still the same mentors. Did that 4 more times and gave up.
I mentioned the weekly workshops being one of my favourite things. It's really disappointing that they've reduced those to monthly. I am really enjoying the GTM workshops, but I'm definitely missing the organic discussions of Harvey's sessions.
The quality of the masters courses do vary. Segmentation was fantastic but the market research masters was pretty dull in terms of content and delivery.
Finally, the Slack community isn't so much something I dislike, more something I've just not found very useful. I've definitely found a couple of interesting conversations but maybe I'm just missing something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Building a community and a common knowledge base for a profession that's relatively new and still developing is huge. PMA are filling a void, in that sense, and should be lauded for it.
The course is very deep, insightful, well-structured overall and with lots of relevant resources, examples and complementary videos. I've gained a lot of knowledge and as someone who, lots of time, does things first and study the theoretical part afterward, it really gave a reasoning and validation to what I do at my work. Building it of micro-learning modules is very helpful considering our short attention span :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although having to pass an exam to get to the next round is a good way of making sure the materials are understood, some of the questions are a bit nitpicking and stick to figures over processes and essence. Also, some typos along the way - In "Things to launch" I counted three alone - made it a bit sour on my eyes. PMMs are really attentive to details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I joined PMA’s Exec+ Membership four months ago, and I can confidently say that it’s been a life-changer for my career as a Product Marketing Manager.

The on-demand courses are packed with value, and the community is top-notch, it’s incredibly empowering to connect with experienced PMMs who share their challenges, strategies, and wins.
One of the biggest highlights? The C-suite-level resources and live mentorship sessions that help bridge the gap between execution and strategic leadership. I’ve gained clarity on go-to-market strategies, competitive intelligence, and stakeholder alignment, all of which have made a real impact on my day-to-day work.
If you’re serious about growing as a PMM, leading at a higher level, and staying ahead in this fast-moving space, PMA is the best investment you can make in your career. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Product Marketing Alliance (PMA) is hands down the best place for anyone looking to grow in product marketing—whether you're a beginner or an expert. As true thought leaders, they provide invaluable insights, especially for the SaaS industry.
Thanks to PMA, I’ve been able to develop strong go-to-market strategies, lead marketing teams successfully, and drive success for both my employer and my own career. What I appreciate most is the chance to connect with experienced marketers from top companies and benchmark my own approaches.
In Germany, product marketing expertise is still scarce, which is why I chose PMA. And I wasn’t disappointed! If you want to grow in this field, this is the place to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had some trouble to migrate my account when I changed my company's email Adresse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The PMA Core Training Certification stands out for its user-friendly interface and well-organized layout, which allows for easy communication through a wide range of resources. The visually appealing layout and transparency make the material accessible to students from all backgrounds. I enjoyed completing the PMA Core training at my own pace and on my own schedule; it significantly aided my dynamic work schedule. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most challenging aspect for me was the speaker's voice. It appeared to me that she might have had a cold, making it a bit distracting for me to comprehend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The 'Narrative Design Certified' course was an amazing experience, guiding step-by-step through the process in a highly professional manner with effective examples. I especially appreciated the practical frameworks and the thorough explanations of important topics like 'Research and Alignment.' The course has enhanced my understanding of narrative design and its application in product marketing. Highly recommended for anyone looking to level up their skills in this area! PMA offers helpful tools and insights that are easy to apply in day-to-day work. I really appreciate the wide variety of resources, from templates to expert webinars. It’s also great to be part of a community where I can learn from others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the content can be a bit overwhelming for beginners, and there’s a lot to go through. At times, the sheer volume of resources can feel overwhelming, especially when trying to find specific information quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Product Marketing Alliance Core class was incredibly informative and well-structured. I gained a solid understanding of the foundational principles of product marketing, and the content was not only applicable to real-world scenarios but also presented in a way that was easy to digest. The resources and frameworks provided were top-notch and have already proven to be invaluable tools for my career growth. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to enhance their product marketing expertise! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, everything was super helpful. The speaker was super engaging, and the content presented was up-to-date and easily applicable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the amount of very diverse subject in the most different levels of depth, which can really help someone that is either starting in the profession and also for seasoned professionals. It goes beyond the basic certification programs to a deep dive into different topics, such as pricing, positioning, narrative design and others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not a dislike, but something to be improved. The instructional videos are a bit too "Static". Maybe adding some more elements, scenarios and others would help improving the quality of the videos and keep participants attention at high levels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I found most interesting about the course is the resource library that it comes with. I see myself referring to those knowledge- packed frameworks and additional resources quite often in my current role as well as in the future where I go next.
I think this course is not just for fresh marketers but also for seasoned players who might be looking to start a product marketing function within their teams. Gives you everything on a silver platter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. Already looking forward to picking up GTM Specialist course in the near future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It’s like Ring of Power for Product Marketing Managers. It presents Positioning, GTM, messaging, and basically all of the items every PMM has on the task list. Also, I'd emphasize PMA Community, as a great support for any emerging questions you might have. Sort of our own Fellowship.
—it covers it all, and the knowledge is priceless. Plus, the community feels like the Fellowship, supporting you every step of the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is really hard to juggle this course with everyday tasks at job. Also, at first it was deeply overwhelming amount of stuff I was going through, and I needed some time to align myself with the curriculum. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
