It could be my lack of understanding core CMS taxonomies but I had a couple of complex document linking scenarios that seemed like I made them more difficult on myself than maybe was necessary. Things like getting a category document from a custom type or page. Honestly though, I tried one of the main competitors and in the time it took me to figure out how to get an image field to render in that system, I had most of a homepage and 6 or 7 slices built.
