## About Prismic
Prismic is the agentic web platform where teams and AI agents turn strategy into quality on-brand pages, from a single campaign to a whole website. Its agents run specialized ABM, SEO, and GEO playbooks, producing hundreds of distinct pages from one starting point, each true to the brand, built to get found in AI search and convert, and the team's to own and edit. Marketers can start with landing pages, and developers can bring a whole site over with their AI coding tools, all on one headless foundation the team owns. It's made for digital businesses where pages drive revenue and pipeline, and marketing can never ship them fast enough.

## Prismic Reviews
 ### 1. Great CMS for developers and writers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gijs B. | Frontend developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Slice machine allows me to develop sections for our customers that are easy to edit and maintain. Out of the box internationalisation is a key feature for me. We use it in combination with Next.js for which they have great packages. The community forum has a lot of activity and is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Although the new page builder is a big leap forward, there are some features missing. like multi level nesting. There are great things coming, but there are a few features missing.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving our clients the freedom to design custom pages in an easy to understand editor, instead of requesting a developer to code the page.

 ### 2. Prismic has allowed us to streamline the scaling of the website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kris B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

We love Slices and it's slice variations. Easily manage and scale new pages and new designs without impacting the rest of the website.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

- Duplicate slices
- Search
- Folders
- Required fields

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Managing and scaling our content
- Helps with faster development

 ### 3. Easy to use and navigate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joyce J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

I'm a lighter user than other members of my team, but the navigation is pretty straightforward. The slice integration is good, and the preview feature is useful.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

When looking at locales, they aren't in alphabetical order, but in order of when they were added. This makes it hard to find locales when you are managing a lot and takes additional time. There should be linking between locales so when I'm updating one page it updates all other pages linked. Would make management SUBSTANTIALLY better and save SO MUCH TIME.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the product we use to build out our site pages.

 ### 4. Prismic is the most user-friendly and flexible CMS I have used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chloe B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

The CMS interface is very user friendly. It's also an incredibly versatile tool: our team of developpers have been able to shape our business Prismic account in a way that enables us to create and publish a very complex set of products. It feels like the possibilities are endless. We use Prismic on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

There are still a few efficiencies that we have brought up with the Prismic team and would make the Content managers' lives easier. Prismic have been very attentive to our requests, and have taken our feedback into account.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prismic enables us to build and maintain complex user journeys on our Ecommerce website. We have all the products we sell in one place and the entire website content is therefore easy for the Content Managers to curate.

 ### 5. One of the best Headless CMS without learning curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meet C. | Product Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

I like that you can easily create content models and implement it in the code, which makes it easy to use for non-techincal people later. It provides a lot of flexibility also.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

They recently introduced Slice Machine which does increase the learning curve a little bit.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have to change the code to make changes on the website. Now we can directly control the website from Prismic without touching the code

 ### 6. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Very fast and easy surface to use with logical fields. There are many different features, also easy to add new sections.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

You need to save reguarly not to lose content, you worked on.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a careerpage which is integrated with our internal systems.

 ### 7. Simple and intuitive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guillaume D. | Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

For me, the ability to preview your designs and pages has simplified my work grately and has reduced the number of errors when publishing new pages for our site.
Being able to work with our design team knowing that any design can be implemented into prismic is also a great relief. So far I have not seen any obvious limitations.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

The UI could always do with some tweaks, especially the media gallery which is a little finiky. Would be great to be able to create folders in the media gallery to quickly find old images.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is enabling us in Marketing to quickly make changes to our website and populate it with new pages and content.

**Official Response from Lidija Kacar:**

> Thank you for your feedback, Guillaume! We’ve recently added tags and filters to our media library to make it easier to find assets. We hope these updates help improve your experience, and we’d love to hear if they address some of the challenges you mentioned. Please feel free to share any further thoughts – we’re always listening!

 ### 8. Great experience with Prismic

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

With the help of my programmer who set it up for me, I like it most because it's straightforward. I have a site on wordpress for years, and was endlessly fussing with it and trying to get it to go faster. It's been great to have something that's very streamlined and easy to use that performs great.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

It would be nice if there were more functionality built into it. It's not a big problem but it would be great if every time I wanted to do something different I didn't need to call my programmer. Downside of being a nontechnical end-user I guess.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It cuts the amount of time I have to spend in my website way down.

 ### 9. Good but could be better

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** bridget r. | Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Not overly complicated, but has a learning curve. There are guides and helpful documents for new users to learn.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Disorganized and feels like somethings could be better organized than just "tags".

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Page creatoin

 ### 10. A bit complicated but does the trick

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

As a non-developer, I can create website pages for marketing purposes on my own without needing the engineering team

The lengthy process, and sometime complicated, that I have to go through to create pages or make edits to a page. Yet, once you get used to it it's no big deal.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of creating website pages and publishing content online. It benefits me becayse I can do this with no experience in developing.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

I can manage and implement in a simple way (with the SDKs they offer) practically anywhere.

Blog, management of temporary content for promotions

Prismic allows from Clients to keep up a specific brand image while also allowing for ease of change and update in their websites, without needing third-party (coding/backend) intervention often .

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Depending on the user's previous experience, the learning curve of Prismic can be quite steep, especially for those who are not as technically savvy.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prismic has helped:
- Create a consitent brand image
- Reduce the number of content side errors
- allow for ease of updating the website

 ### 13. Unleashing Corporate Website Potential: A Review of Prismic HPB for Corporate Websites.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harsha Vardhan K. | AEM Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Ease of Use
Ease of Implementation
Ease of Integration

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Number of Features are less compared to what AEM provides which makes it not suitable for large scale projects but so far good job prismic.
Create a global Slices Marketplace for developers to create custom slices. Which enables ease of development and Prismic Reach for developers to earn money and make prismic grow in CMS and HPB developers reach.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want group field option in subfields. It enables developers to be create subfields efforlessly.

I had a problem when creating customType of header where i needed my header to have three layers of subfields. So, i suggested you based on that.

 ### 14. Great tool to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

It response to updates to the pages quite fast and I like the different elements you can add.

Sometimes it has limitations of sections to add.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving our need to update our website.

 ### 15. Easy to integrate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Prismic is really easy to use and integrate with any framework. I've integrated it with Svelte, GatsbyJS, Laravel, and NextJS and it has always been a pleasant experience. It also has a good number of features for managing content.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

The only thing that I don't really like is that there's no way to self host Prismic. While this is definitely not a deal breaker, it would be a nice option but it's understandable why they wouldn't want to go that route.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Prismic when I want t a nice and easy to use CMS that requires little configuration.

 ### 16. Probably The Best Choice for Headless CMS, Despite Bugs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

I recently built my first prismic.io project for a client - it was easy to learn and set up. My client felt that it was easy to use Prismic's interface. I compared Prismic to a few other competitors and it seemed to have the best combination of features.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Unfortunately, I am getting billed for multiple locales, but I only have one locale. I've reached out to Prismic support but have yet to hear back.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My client's project is best suited for a headless application, but we needed a CMS.

 ### 17. Cool tool terrible UX in updates

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chelsea F. | Sr. Content Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

The ease of use, don't need to be a developer to use the CMS

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

They recently did updates to make it more drag-and-drop focused. But it makes it very hard to restructure pages with many elements or to move them between sections. Also, with this update to the editor when you add images there is no search feature, which means if I need an older image it's near impossible to find and I would need to upload it again causing a duplicate in the system which is bad for SEO. I figured out how to revert back to the old editor, but it's not because I prefer what I know but instead because the new update has terrible UX for my specific needs.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It created our website and houses our images and website code

**Official Response from Lidija Kacar:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad to hear that Prismic is easy to use without requiring a developer. We wanted to let you know that we've added search functionality to our media library, which we hope will make it easier to find older images and avoid duplicates. We appreciate your input and are continuously working to improve the UX based on feedback like yours. If you have any other questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out!

 ### 18. Easiness of use and API to connect to my website

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Pretty easy to understand API and interface to add the content

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

there is still no foldering of media and it's still not so easy to add multilanguage content

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can use prismic to put my content and easily integrate it to my website

 ### 19. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fine Art | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Fast and easy to use. Very little technical knowledge required.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

No major downsides. On occasion it has gone down, but it's very rare.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User friendly interface has made building pages much quicker, and easier for the wider team to use.

 ### 20. As magic as a CMS can be

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 👋🏻 Ste O. | Staff Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

I love the ability to create components to make my clients lives easier. It's very easy to use for both users and myself for development and if given the choice, I wouldn't pick anytihng else.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

I think it'd be very handy to have the slicemachine for Remix, but that's just me!

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think headless CMS' are a unique space based on what you plug them into, but being able to find good docs with legacy support is very helpful for development.

 ### 21. Easy to work with but missing visual overviews

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna W. | Product manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

It is easy to make changes to existing components and create new ones.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

I'm missing an overview where I can see how the components are linked to each other. I often mistakenly go to the main page instead of the component on the page to make changes. Would be great if I could go to the component from the page, instead of going back to the list with all components.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dynamic content recommendation to our users.

 ### 22. Prismic is organised and neat

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

the organisational structure, everything is clear

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

there should be more features in slices, and the lettertype should be more

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to optimise our website and publish related articles

 ### 23. Best CMS Solutions: Featuring SliceZone and Affordable Pricing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

I'm highly impressed with this CMS! It offers fantastic features like SliceZone, simplifying customization for my team. Plus, the pricing is incredibly reasonable, making it a great value for us

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Adding more pre-built themes would make the process easier, as some projects don't require starting from scratch. Increasing the number of demo themes would save time and effort

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helped me in creating portfolio and blog website for my business

 ### 24. Slicemachine is a blast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Filiph S. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Prismic is extremely easy to integrate no matter if it's a completely new project or a large multi-tenant react app. With the addition of the new page builder and the improvements to slicemachine creating content is also extremely easy and even a bit fun.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

The `slice-simulator` doesn't yet support react server components so you have to do a few ugly work-arounds to get it to play nicely. Additionally their new pricing model is a bit on the too restrictive side.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use prismic to handle content across several next.js sites.

 ### 25. Review for Prismic

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

How easy it is to use! Very user friendly for beginners as well

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

There is nothing much to dislike. Maybe some of the UI can be better

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving a lot of problems

 ### 26. Easily and quickly manage content without the hassle of laying out the page

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Easy to create new or update existing content by itself. The site constructs the pages without additional effort from me.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Requires a good tagging system to organize your asset files.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allow us to distribute the content management among a team of constantly changing volunteers without a lot of training. We can be assured that a newbie content manager won't break a page or the site.

 ### 27. Excellent Headless CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex W. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

The best part about Prismic is how simple it is to understand and build sites with. The local development tool slice machine is a big help with creating website sections that can be re used throughout the website. Using slices as my main sections I have been able to rapidly increase my productivity when building websites.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

My biggest gripe with Prismic is the poorly organized media library, without a way to search for your images from with in the page builder or select multiple imagess at once it greatly hurts the ability to use Prisimic for large portfolio sites that have a lot of media.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Headless CMS and rapid custom website development

**Official Response from Lidija Kacar:**

> Hi Alex, thank you for your feedback! We're excited to let you know that we have made our media library more powerful over the last couple of months, including improved search functionality and the ability to add tags and filter your media for easy access. We hope these improvements make managing large media collections much easier for your projects.

 ### 28. Prismic is great for handing site control to business people

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Prismic is great for handing site control to business people

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Some easier preview features would be appreciated

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prismic is great for handing site control to business people

 ### 29. Flexible content management for websites

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Flexibility to adapt and implement to our company needs and easy user interface

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Options to duplicate pages and content accross diferent domains could be more powerful.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mantaining my website updated with relevant content information making sure that we quickly inform our customers about the latest and most accurate news

 ### 30. Simple and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leon M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Primisc is very easy to use. I am a content marketer so I don't deal with the tech side of things but there are lots of features that I use often and I like that the support team are easy to contact if needed (not that I have so far).

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

I haven't come across any downsides so far

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using a CMS that had a lot of problems for us and Prismic has sovled them. We can now customise the content and design of pages a lot easier and I like that we can schedule posts to go live.

 ### 31. Prismic has a few quirks and odd functions, but it is spectacular compared to other CMS'.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

The headless CMS is great, I'm a Web Content Admin and having the ability to build out pages and documents in any way possible is super helpful. I work closely with our Web Development Team and Prismic also seems to conect to other platforms easily.

I have experience with other content management systems and Prismic is my favorite because of how customizable it is.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Because Prismic is smaller that some of it's competition it sometimes seems like features and fixes are sometimes released more slowly than other platforms. Fortunately we haven't really ran into major issues.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me personally, the ability to use almost any slice on any page is amazing compared to other platforms. I'm able to customize each document as needed and it does help with the goal of engaging users. The modularity of Prismic is not something I've been able to experience with other platforms.

 ### 32. Simple, practical, and versatile.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danilo G. | Gestor de planejamento, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Prismic.io is an extremely easy-to-handle yet highly versatile platform. In my experience, as someone who developed their own blog, writing every line of code, having a CMS integrated with the NEXT.JS language allowed me to seamlessly integrate it into my environment.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

The lack of an Android app, which could simplify the editing of my articles, is the most anticipated feature for me.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling the publication of articles from my blog.

 ### 33. User friendly with beautiful results!

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca Cordes C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Prismic is very user friendly. We were able to transition fairly seemlessly off our old platform with a lot of additional functionality. We have also had good luck both implementing new capabilities and integrating new features as we have used the site. We have to update our site fairly regularly to reflect our events/current happenings etc.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

While very user-friendly, we the customer support is fairly limited in our experience.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using multiple platforms and functionalities, translated versions of our website etc. Prismic enables us to do this all under one roof.

 ### 34. Headless but also made for websites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Unlike other CMSs using JAMstack tech, Prismic isn't really headless as they've developed a lot of code that goes in the head. This gives the best of both worlds. Everything is architected like a headless cms, but a lot of the heavy lifting on the head is also done for you.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

No import API. While there is an integration field which serves a lot of purposes, being able to programmatically update a lot of content in bulk would be advantageous.

Common website related features would also be a bonus if they were included. e.g. redirect management and forms.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster build times compared to monolith CMSs by removing the need to install the whole CMS locally.

A little disappointed with that.
