**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Prisma Browser?**

I appreciate the Prisma Access Browser for its usability and modern design, which is both aesthetically pleasing and highly performant. The integration of security seamlessly into the browser is another highlight, as it simplifies our company's policy management by embedding it within the browser itself. This is particularly beneficial when working with contractors, allowing for consistent policy enforcement without the need to apply policies to personal computers. Furthermore, the Prisma Access Browser provides a cost-effective, single-solution for both browser security and management, eliminating the need for multiple apps or services. The transition from Chrome was straightforward due to its Chrome-based foundation, making it an intuitive choice for our team. Additionally, the setup process was straightforward, which enhanced our overall experience with the product.

**What do you dislike about Prisma Browser?**

I think the browser’s performance under heavy load can be improved.

  ### 2. Prisma Access: A One-Stop Solution for Zero Trust Network Access

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davis L. | SOC Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Prisma Browser?**

ZTNA, one of many features of Prisma Access, ensures that access is granted based on user identity, device posture, and context-all in a way that reduces attack surfaces while improving security across the board. Prisma Access is also a one-stop shop for the security of distributed networks, with robust security features such as FW-as-a-service, data loss prevention, and advanced threat protection. It can scale from small teams to large, multinational organizations. Both on-premises and remote users can be easily accommodated without hassle.

**What do you dislike about Prisma Browser?**

It requires thorough setup and maintenance, and certainly not all organizations are comfortable with this, especially those that do not have a dedicated security team. Speaking of integrations, legacy systems pose a steep learning curve. While Prisma Access boasts fantastic feature sets, it remains very expensive compared to other services. Also, the analytics and reporting that the platform provides should be more detailed and intuitive because sometimes the dashboard is too jumbled or not as intuitive for some users.

**What problems is Prisma Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prisma Access Browser addresses this very critical issue of safe web access for both managed and unmanaged devices by implementing enterprise-grade security right in the browser. It uses zero trust principles to ensure only authorized access, helps protect against web-based threats such as malware and phishing, and prevents data loss with integrated classifiers. Businesses will immediately benefit from this: better security, easier policy management, and securely accessing third-party and remote workers without compromising user experiences or requiring complicated configurations. Because it reduces the attack surface while simplifying threat detection and remediation, this is particularly valuable for security teams.

I greatly appreciate the Prisma Access Browser for its ability to help me trust the software I use. Since I've been using it, I haven't been scammed in crypto apps, which is a huge relief. The web isolation technology, also known as browser isolation technology, is truly powerful. It prevents malicious code from ever reaching my phone or laptop, and prevents scam websites from installing anything harmful. Thanks to this browser, fake crypto dApps cannot inject harmful scripts. I also value how it blocks fake wallet extensions, forced downloads, and unauthorized pop-ups requesting wallet access. This browser ensures a level of security that keeps these threats at bay. It's extremely effective and instills confidence in my online activities.

The main problem we were facing was that our customers were using Google Chrome, which has the capability to install unauthorized plugins to block ads, and some of these plugins came infected, causing us a lot of issues. With Prisma, we do not have to worry about this happening.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Prisma Browser?**

Convenient and secure but most of the security seems to take toll on a ram and cpu at least on my older computer it was the case, comparing to edge with turned on security id say I expected more.

**What do you dislike about Prisma Browser?**

I feel like browser it self is not a problem it’s just that most people will not use it as they are used to old fashioned edge or chrome, it’s neither suited for gamers nor typical older user. Might be great for corporate workers tho!

**What problems is Prisma Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I just tried it so couldn’t answer the question you are asking, but from my experience I didnt find anything that would be super crazy in terms of solving problems

  ### 16. Secure and Reliable Enterprise Browsing

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Prisma Browser?**

Standout feature for me, was the agentless approach. User experience was intuitive. Integrates well with identity providers like Okta or Azure AD. Session isolation and data loss prevention features help reduce risk without compromising usability. Prisma Browser also has centralized policy management which makes the policy implementation easier.

**What do you dislike about Prisma Browser?**

  ### 26. Prisma Access Browser: Security That Packs a Punch, Speed That Takes a Breather

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Prisma Browser?**

As a user, I really dig how Prisma Access Browser keeps me secure without any hassle – it’s like a quiet bodyguard that’s always got my back, and starting it up is a total breeze!

**What do you dislike about Prisma Browser?**

Honestly, the Prisma Access Browser bugs me sometimes because it feels like it’s trying too hard to keep me safe and ends up slowing things down – like waiting for a webpage to load while it double-checks everything. Plus, that one time it wouldn’t play nice with an app I needed was a real pain, and the cost feels like a stretch for what I get out of it.

**What problems is Prisma Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prisma Access Browser tackles the headache of securing work on any device – managed or not – by locking down threats like phishing and data leaks right in the browser. It kills the need for clunky VPNs, which used to slow me down or drop at the worst times. For me, it’s a lifesaver because I can hop on my personal laptop, access work stuff safely, and not worry about some sneaky malware snagging my data. Plus, it’s fast to set up – no IT wrestling match – and gives me peace of mind with its Zero Trust vibe, only letting me into what I’m allowed. The speed hiccups are there, sure, but the security and ease it brings outweigh that by a mile!

  ### 27. Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access Browser

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Prisma Browser?**

What I like best about Prisma Access Browser is its ability to provide secure remote access without compromising user experience. It offers seamless integration with existing security policies and ensures data doesn’t leave the organizations perimeter, which is crucial for maintaining compliance. The browser isolation capabilities are particularly impressive allowing users to safely browse potentially risky content without exposing the network. It’s also cloud-delivered, which reduces the need for complex on-prem setups, and the performance has been consistently reliable even under heavy workloads.

**What do you dislike about Prisma Browser?**

While Prisma Access Browser offers strong security and isolation features, the initial setup and configuration can be a bit complex, especially for teams unfamiliar with Palo Alto’s ecosystem. There’s also a slight learning curve for end users adapting to the isolated browser environment, particularly when interacting with certain dynamic or media-rich websites. Additionally, occasional latency can be noticed during peak hours, though it’s generally manageable. Improving documentation and user onboarding resources would definitely enhance the overall experience.

**What problems is Prisma Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Prisma Access Browser primarily to enable secure remote browsing for employees accessing corporate resources and external websites. It’s especially useful for protecting against web-based threats, isolating risky content, and enforcing data loss prevention (DLP) policies. We also use it to provide third-party vendors and contractors with controlled access to specific apps without exposing our internal network.
