What do you like best about Pressable?

The customer service that is provided is second to none. They are so fast to respond and I feel like a big priority to them when I call them or when I am chatting with them on their website. I had an issue with my website at GoDaddy and they told me it would be 2 days before someone would take a look at it. Pressable solved the problem in minutes and didn't have the huge fee that Go Daddy was going to charge me. I'm really happy so far with everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pressable?

I don't have any downside. It's still early on so I suppose that could change but the responsiveness has been great. I don't forsee there being any problems . . . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pressable?

Customer service is always important to me. The CS reps at pressable are polite, respectful and attentive. Helped me through the process of transferring our hosting over and we were up and running with minimal issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pressable?

Accessing core files in wordpress is not as straightforward as traditional hosting platforms. Some raw access would be helpful in removing unwanted themes etc that are blocked by pressable within the dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pressable?

My standing advice to friends and professional colleagues is to never self-host your own Wordpress. Wordpress is great software to use, but it has a long history of bad security vulnerabilities, and even as a very technical user, who works in cybersecurity, I still got hacked a couple of years ago. That wasn't fun at all! Pressable handles rolling out security updates for me, with zero intervention needed on my part, and zero downtime. I've been a customer for at least five years now, and it's been rock-solid for me ever since I switched. It's also much cheaper than Wordpress.com if you have multiple sites, and still lets you run custom themes and plugins, which is very important for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pressable?

Really there are zero downsides. If you don't like Wordpress, you'll want a different provider, or you want white-glove support, you'll want something like Wordpress.com VIP, but if you just want a decent Wordpress with somebody else pulling pager duty for it, Pressable is *great*. What do you like best about Pressable?

The price-point sold me originally. I was able to get Managed WordPress Hosting for a fraction of the cost (as an Agency account). The features I needed were all there, and both their sales and support staff always took the time to answer my questions or help in any way possible. After using their services for a year, the value of the product and their support staff are what keep me there. The free Jetpack Premium account for all Pressable-hosted sites is a nice benefit for managing backups, automatic plugin updates, and (if you want to use them) the mass of other features Jetpack Premium offers. What do you dislike about Pressable?

Pressable is always working to make their services better. They somewhat recently introduced staging sites, but the staging to production migration could use a little work. I know it will get better, but until it does, their support was quick to say, "just let us know when you need to migrate from Staging to Production and we can do it for you!" I do also wish backups were handled by Pressable (instead of through Jetpack), but I understand how their need for additional storage may drastically increase their service price. Recommendations to others considering Pressable:

There has become a gap between "standard" hosting companies (think Bluehost, GoDaddy, SiteGround) and those focused exclusively on hosting WordPress websites (think Pressable, WPEngine, Kinsta). The breaking point for me on all "standard" hosting companies in the past has been their support. WordPress is a unique product and requires support personnel who are familiar with its intricacies. Going with a company that specializes in WordPress hosting (and nothing else) means the support staff is going to be competent and capable of solving your problems. I've had wonderful experiences with support at both Pressable and WPEngine (and have clients at both). For me and the bulk of my clients, Pressable offers a better price-point! I've done agency hosting accounts with several other companies in the past, and never been satisfied. After deciding to move around 40 clients to a WordPress-specific hosting company, I researched half a dozen of the big players. I landed on Pressable because, as a small business owner who develops/maintains websites for other small businesses, their price-point was unbeatable. I'm able to offer competitive pricing for high-quality hosting. I have been hosting all of my customer websites on Pressable for a year now and only had two short blips of downtime (that were immediately resolved). I also can't say enough about their support. Their support is always available, personal and knowledgeable. For anyone who has dealt with support at "low-rent" hosting companies, you know how valuable good tech support is! What do you like best about Pressable?

Support is great. While only available through chat & email, we never have to wait longer than a few minutes. And support has great WordPress-specific chops. Other hosts we've worked with have not. And I think our site has only had one unscheduled outage in a few years with Pressable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pressable?

It's hard to come up with things I don't like. Am really reaching here, as this is a little esoteric, but taking a staged site live (Pressable allows working on non-production sites in a staged environment), we've occasionally found URLs embedded in the staging site's DB to persist once the staging site has moved to production. A search & replace, either by us or support, fixes the issue. But there's not a lot else we don't like about Pressable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pressable?

I switched from Kinsta and am getting the same dependability for almost a third of the cost. I wish I would have found Pressable earlier. My experience with their support has been limited so far but... they were super fast to respond to me and migrated my sites almost instantaneously. Pressable takes care the big technical stuff and offers substantial support. Switching over was simple with their migration process. Their technical support team has really been there for me. I still have to do maintenance and there are guidelines on what is my responsibility, but there’s a resource center so customer’s like myself can learn/inform themselves on a process/issue encountered. I use Hostgator for most of my shared hosting clients, those with low traffic, no real need for extra security, speed and space. For those, for eCommerce and for my own sites I use Pressable.
