Pipeline ties all the aspects of the bid package together. It allows us to get informtion to the bidders quickly and proficently. We can monitor the timelines, whos bidding and wh's not, and manage our database effectively.
Also needed to contact Chat option for help. Had NO idea Rick Dill would be the person i connected with. VERY impressive to have someone who spends time fielding customer inquiries, says a lot about how much the company cares about the level of customer service they provide. I think the knowldge base should have more key words for novice users to help find help articles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The setup is very simple for anyone without strong computer skills. I work with project managers in their 60s and 70s who have no problem viewing plans and sending bids. It is also easy to store and look up contractors and suppliers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Contractors and suppliers can upload bids, but they bids will not be attached to a project. It makes it more difficult to build an overall bid with this system. There is also an app that only shows the ddress book. It would be very helpful to have the entire program on the phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Web-based Invitation to Bid software that doesn't sell our company database & doesn't try to manipulate our subcontractors into buying a subscription. I love that our list stays our own & our subs do not get hundreds of unwanted emails from unknown companies. (Which is easily my biggest gripe of their competitors.) The system is easy to use. The reports are useful especially for proof of call logs & XBE participation goals. Our subcontractors like it too. Easy to download documents & submit bids. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you don't click "update" & forget before clicking out of the tab (or your internet blinks out), you will loose your changes. Other than that, I love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of use. There are lots of complex bidding software solutions out there, what I like about pipeline is it's simplicity. Bidders recieve an email and have all they need to interact with pipeline in that email. It's very easy to create a job and send out invites. Customer support is responsive, when I have had a problem it's been resolved within the day. It is very easy to update contacts, estimators change often and it's easy to update email contacts to make sure the correct bidder is getting the information. The user interface could use a refresh, but it is very functional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pipeline is very easy to use, tracks all of your subcontractors information, bids etc. Sending out an Invitation to Bid and all of the associated documents and pictures is a very smooth user friendly process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only real downside that I see to Pipelins is that a lot of other construction management software platforms are providing more or less the same service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part of pipeline is that you owe your database. You create, maintain, and build your list of subcontractors that can help you win your projects. It does a great job of building a database of information on your subs. It is very easy to use the sotfaware and the support team does a great job of answering any questions you have. We use it everyday for all of our poejcts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that pipeline could improvde is the ability to search past proejcts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the features that I appreciate about Pipeline are: 1) It tracks the frequency that contractors respond because we often do 80% of our work with same 20% of companies. 2) Ability to sort contractors by city when selecting bidders allowing you to increase the geogrphical radius of bidders. 3) You can integrate your own database while searching for new contractors. 4) Customer support has always responded very quickly. 5) I found It more user friendly than other software. Not much but they could improve on finding new subcontractors to bid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of importing database from another platform; control over bidder listings may be maintained by the GC/awarding entity with options to co-manage updates with users;cost is very competitive; expanding slate of features; team is responsive to heldesk and feature requests Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Displays best on a large, hi-res monitor only; no mobile support; lack of some granular controls to better organize bidder data limits utility for some work; integration bewteen the core Pipleine product and Pipeline Tabs/Bid is inconsistent Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pipeline is easy to use and easy to implement. Rick Dill and his team bring a level of customer support and customer service that sets the bar. It has all of the features we need, was easy to integrate and we use it every day! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike. Anytime we do have something come up, they are quick to make the changes we request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Categorization of my subcontractors
- Ability to inject bid information into my website
- Being able to track who views, clicks, or downloads project information
- Bid calendar that shows my bid date, subs bid date, walk throughs etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bid reminders need some optimization I feel that I'm constantly filtering out emails from people saying theyve already said yes, or getting reminders at bid day / after submission. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
