**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

Honestly, their platform is elite. It makes everything so easy, and my favorite part has to be their customer service. If I ever run into a problem, I know they can help me, or they’ll have an article about it, which makes the platform really easy to use. They also offer so many options for my practice. I just started implementing programs, and it’s been amazing.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

It’s capable of so much, which is incredible, but it can also feel a little overwhelming at times. I’m taking it one step at a time and implementing things as I grow.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has everything in one place, so I can schedule appointments, offer packages, and provide self-paced programs for my patients. I also love that I don’t have to use Zoom, because I can use their platform for video appointments, which is essential for my online practice.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

I love that I am able to manage everything all in one place (invoices, billing, scheduling, notes, templates, protocols, programs, chat, etc.). I love that I am able to set up automations for these things because I am a one-woman show in my business. I also love the snippets feature. Customer support has always been great, and the help center has been great to answer my own questions, but also to share with clients. I use Practice Better every day in my business, and I couldn't imagine using another system at this point. A majority of my work is done via Zoom, and I love the Zoom integration.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

There are a few things I would tweak. I wouldn't necessarily call them downsides. I just wish I could add some features that would be beneficial to me, such as a resource library with pictures, videos, and handouts, not in the current program layout, or saving images/videos to snippets, or saving "template sections" to add to notes if needed

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Practice Better I was using several different systems - Acuity for scheduling, Square for billing/invoicing, Google Forms for intake, Zoom for telehealth, and google docs for notes. Practice Better is so much easier than having to coordinate all those different systems.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

I like how Practice Better has everything I need to take care of my clients with confidence. The automatic payment reminders are a huge time-saver, eliminating the hassle of remembering to send out invoices. It's also very easy to put together content for clients on the app. Plus, the initial setup was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I wish it was easier to create a payment plan option without having to create a separate program for the payment plan with a higher amount for the program fee. It would be helpful to have an option to create both payment options under one program page, like a 'Pay in full' link and a 'Payment plan' link.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Practice Better combines automatic drip content, invoicing, client progress data, chat with HIPAA compliance, document sharing, labs orders, and supplement implementation on one platform. It saves me time on invoices and makes content creation for clients very easy.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

I like the capability to build a program inside Practice Better. I'm able to create video modules, attach PDFs, and write tasks and text for my clients, which most previous EMRs I've used have not had this capability. It helps me run my six month program, which I normally would not be able to do. I also appreciate the AI scribe technology that helps me take better medical notes.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I would like the capability to cosign a nurse practitioner note. I also want an alternate payment processor besides Stripe because the current option requires legit script certification, which is extremely expensive to maintain. The setup was somewhat difficult because there's so much customization involved.

Practice Better helps me take better medical notes with its AI scribe capability.

I like that I can customize Practice Better to my brand. It's consistent, reliable, and affordable. I feel like it has a lot of functionality, more than what I need, but I know that it's there if I need it. It's great to have everything managed in one place, which is a major change from when I used separate platforms for everything.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I don't love the program feature. There's not really a community aspect, and I use a separate platform for that. When creating programs in Practice Better, there's a chat feature for clients, but it's not very functional in the way I would like it to be. Also, the initial setup of Practice Better was a lot of work and took many hours, but once it's done, it's done.

Practice Better is like my virtual assistant, managing everything from booking, invoicing, creating protocols, and emails all in one place, replacing my need for separate platforms.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

I appreciate that Practice Better is geared towards dietitians and what they need. The integration with third parties like Fullscript, Zoom and menu planning services is really helpful. These third-party integrations streamline my processes and save additional time by reducing the need to individually access other applications and then send information to clients. My clients like this because everything is kept in one portal, making them feel more secure. The initial setup was fairly easy and straightforward. Since then, Better has added several integrations, made-for-you templates, and a community chat, which have been nice to add gradually. I have recommended Practice Better to several colleagues, and I would give it a 10.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I think that the practitioners need easier access to see the patient's view of their dashboard and information that they receive.

I love how I can keep everything in one place with Practice Better. I even send my newsletter using it. I appreciate having my calendar and the ability for clients to schedule their own meetings with me. Setting up group Zooms is also a feature I enjoy.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

The one aspect that would make a huge difference is being able to have clients choose whether they want to add in their weight in lbs or kgs. I work in the US and Sweden and this is creating a huge problem for me. It would be helpful to be able to decide for each client if US or metric numbers should be used.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Practice Better to organize client meetings, programs, and memberships. It keeps everything in one place, allows clients to self-schedule meetings, and helps me set up group Zooms. I even send my newsletters through it.

I like the ease of use. It was easy through templates and customization to set up consent forms, payment, packages, and track notes through program. It had everything that I needed to practice as a health coach and maintain records. I like that. I also loved the pre-made programs that were available for use and customization.

I didn't like the cost and rising prices. Ultimately, the version I needed was more than I could afford.

I needed consent forms that were already completed, which would make it easier for me. That was a problem that PB solved for me. It was so helpful!

I like the user-friendly interface of Practice Better and how I can use all parts of the portal to communicate with clients and send them resources. I enjoy the calendar feature where I can see my whole schedule in weekly or monthly forms. Practice Better is easy to navigate, especially the journals. Once a client downloads the portal, we can communicate through the messenger in real time.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I would like the option of being able to edit notes while on the video chat screen. I feel like I could be using more of the features on Practice Better but would have to watch tutorials on it, such as mappings and automations.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

Practice better is intuitive, robust, and aesthetically pleasing. With all of their integrations, I am able to run my online therapy practice with ease. I appreciate it compared to competitors because of its customizability and automations. I also love that the creators of PB are committed to evolving and integrating new features and technologies to stay relevant with the times. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

The only con as a mental health professional was when I started out with PB there was a limited number of forms and support geared toward mental health. However, they have evolved in that area as well, adding many of the forms I initially created on my own. Their customer service is excellent if you ever need support tailoring your PB to your needs.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PB for scheduling, billing, and engaging with patients securely outside of session. I'm able to share documents back and forth, send forms and assessments for clients to fill out, and message with clients through the portal. It's really an all-in-one practice management solution.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

I appreciate that Practice Better allows me to consolidate multiple tasks in one platform, such as client communication, billing, onboarding, and protocol building. I love how easy it was to set up and the resourceful help articles. The high-tech appearance and ease of use are appealing, and my clients enjoy it too. The platform's ability to integrate seamlessly with other software like That Clean Life and Stripe is very beneficial. The billing invoicing and templates are extremely helpful for my practice.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I would change how the food journal works. I don't find it as helpful for my clients. I think there are some areas missing on it, and I'm unsure if it's 100% accurate. It would be nice if there were easier forms for clients to use when food journaling. I think that would be very helpful.

I find Practice Better centralizes all my needs like client communication, billing, onboarding, and note-taking, making it a one-stop shop for my nutrition business, enhancing my success with clients.

I find that it takes clients a while to become accustomed to the user interface. It's semi user-friendly, which can be challenging for new users. As a practitioner, it required a lot of learning, videos, and orientation to understand how to use the software effectively. Additionally, the initial setup of Practice Better was a challenge.

That 24 hour time option... wish I had one.

By integrating my existing Google calendar with practice better I am now 100% hands-off in terms of setting the time and dates of appointments. My availability is visible to clients, I can block my Google calendar as per normal for my non-clinc events, and my availability is reflected. Similarly, my client appointments auto-populate to Google... so much time savings.

I appreciate Practice Better for its versatility and the ease of having everything organized in one place, which gives it a very professional look. It's amazing that I can conduct online sessions directly through it without needing any other software. I love that it allows for full script integrations so I can effortlessly send supplement recommendations to my naturopathy clients. The platform's capability to manage client bookings, documents, and efficiently relay information to clients in one unified system is a huge advantage. Finally, I find the initial setup of Practice Better very easy, which makes starting with this software a smooth experience.

The pricing has recently increased, which can be challenging to manage, especially as a new business owner.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

I am still in the learning aspect of using Practice Better as a newer user. What I love the most is that it is very user-friendly. Watching the tutorials that are there for guidance has made a world of difference in my ability to use the site effectively. I like how everything interacts seamlessly together. I also like that you can connect with other third-party sites, allowing you to streamline what you offer to your clients. There isn't anything I've been able to find that they haven't included in their offerings when it comes to running my coaching business. It's basically an all-in-one site that makes operating my business so much easier.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I do wish they offered more within the starter plan. I am not at a point in my business yet to need the Pro Plan (I'm hoping I will be there soon). It would be nice to have access to programs and things that are offered for attending the Practice Better live call/Zoom sessions. I attended one for hormones recently, and I am unable to access the free stuff because I do not have the Pro Plan. I feel like there should be a plan between the Starter and the Pro Plan that would allow access to these things. Not having access to these freebies has been a letdown for me.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is condensing a lot of the tedious paperwork that I would have to do with every client separately. Practice Better allows me to create a spot for each of my clients where I can add documents, programs, etc. into their client portal for them to view. This alleviates having to create emails, and go back and forth with the client. They can access everything in one spot easily, which also saves me a lot of time.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

I like that I can keep up with my finances through the platform and see how I do month-to-month, quarterly and even compare between time periods. This really helps me understand the trajectory of my business, but also motivate me to do better. 

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I wish the personal branding (which I pay for) also showed up on the mobile app. This is one of the reasons I rarely use the app version and will only work on my desktop. I hate that my athletes have to see the ugly green. I also wish it said my brand name as opposed to Practice Better, since "better" can have a negative association for my demographic. I also wish the journals could be more efficient for both my athletes and myself. It's getting so tedious for both parties because it's not exactly "user-friendly" and it's very cluttered.

Workflow - I used to use so many different apps, and I hated it.

I love all of the automations! Intake forms, session reminders, invoices and Google review requests are all sent to my clients automatically, which frees up more time for me to devote more focused time on direct client care. The integrated portal messenger feature allows me to communicate with my clients in a direct and focused way, which I find to be extremely advantageous, especially when providing acute care for injuries and illnesses.

Administratively, the platform enables me to invoice vendors for contract work, monitor key performance indicators through built-in reporting, and create and assign tasks for both myself and my clients. This all-in-one functionality streamlines my workflow, saves time, and supports more efficient and professional client care.

I love being able to create fillable templates and use automations to take day to day tasks off my to do list. Integrated billing is a helpful tool for our practice with offering both cash pay and insurance billings options for patients. We also love the variety of 3rd party integrations and how easy to set up they are.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I wish there was more access to a live person for walk throughs when problems arise. The automated system is helpful but not as valuable to me and my staff when we have a pressing issue that needs addressed in a timely manner. Working in a medical office, time is limited, so waiting on an email response is not cost effective nor timely in addressing needs when they arise.  Not all payers are fulling integrated with the Claim.MD integration, which also would be a significant time saver when that is implemented.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to offer programs for clients to use and access as they desire which frees my time up to focus on one to one client care and building my practice. 
The most recent update to add lab testing has been extremely beneficial to my patient population for care moving forward.

I do have a difficult time navigating the platform at times and require the use of AI to direct me in completing certain tasks. 

For example managing my availability is not always intuitive.

I really appreciate the insurance integration which simplifies my processes by reducing the number of backend steps required to match claims and payments. Additionally, I love the high level of customization Practice Better offers, allowing me to adapt nearly everything to fit my practice's needs. The client portal provides a reliable space for clients, which enhances their experience. Furthermore, the calendar integration with Google calendars is excellent for managing multiple clinicians, streamlining scheduling, and reducing time spent coordinating appointments. Lastly, I find the integration capability with other systems, like ClaimMD and Apple Health, tremendously helps in managing client flow and monitoring movement patterns.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I find that the support team isn't as open to feedback and requests for new features as I would like. Integrating labs and vitals from clients' charts into notes could be improved for greater efficiency. Modifying forms to allow photo uploads, particularly for insurance forms, would be a valuable feature. Additionally, I find the note template and form builders quite clunky and tedious to navigate, especially with longer templates.

I am not particularly tech savvy yet I was able to set up my practice on my own.  The other options I looked at were impossible to set up alone even with the set up videos.  As an MD, I needed to be able to prescribe medications, hormones from my EMR and this feature was recently added as an option.  I also needed to be able to do telehealth and video visits securely which this provides.  An added bonus was the ability to record content in the future for patients to access.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I am currently using the low end non-customized landing page while I build my practice which is not terribly attractive, but it does allow you to customize your page when you upgrade.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for an all in one EMR that was easy to use and had everything in one place and was affordable.  This has billing, telehealth, video visits, prescribing, integration with Fullscript and RUPA labs for Functional Medicine practice, and ability to create video content.

I love that I can communicate with my patients through the app. I like the forms and notes function. I like that I can send documents to my patients. There are many other functions that are very helpful for navigating through my patients information

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

It doesn’t seem to be very iPAD user friendly. There are many things I can do on my desktop with the program, but I use my iPad when I am in my office. It’s more friendly because I can face the patient and it doesn’t look like I am spending all of my time on the computer. On the iPAd, I cannot do a split screen in order to open other documents while I am working in the patient portal. Another thing is the word processing functions on the iPad are not the same. When I try to select multiple files to charge with a patient using the iPad, it doesn’t allow me to do that. The function is there, but then when I click on the selection boxes, nothing is selected. I wish on the face page that the patient’s name, date of birth, and age were all visible. I have to toggle back and forth a lot to get this information. I have a medium level program: I want to be able to combine my notes to create a letter to send to my patient or other providers. As it is, I have to export the notes to Adobe, combine them there, and then import them back into Practice Better. Maybe there is a better way to do this, but I haven’t found it. I also want to be able to move files I have imported into PB into another part of the program or another patient, I cannot do that. I would love to be able to edit some of the forms to be more individualized for my practice. I’m sure there are many more things. I worked for many years in a hospital with EPIC, maybe I am spoiled, but I feel that there are a few more things that we could do with our programs. I would also be happy to be a consultant to work through some of these suggestion and suggestions that others might have. Thanks for having this forum and for your time.

I love how Practice Better helps me run my practice in a way that feels both professional and personal. The protocol builder is one of my favorite tools because it lets me plug and play customized recommendations without re-creating them over and over (99% of my clients should be drinking more water and eating more fiber kinds of things). I also really like the messaging/ chat aspect as I feel like clients are more likely to communicate smaller things in an informal manner such as a chat, which is often super helpful in giving them quick feedback or protocol adjustments. 

I am still optimizing my automations, but that has saved me so much time in booking new clients and automatically sending them forms or confirming their appointments too.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I found the initial setup very time-consuming, especially when it came to customizing all the forms and emails. But once everything was in place, it made my day-to-day flow so much smoother. There are still tweaks, but it is definitely something that the more you use it, the more it just becomes part of the workflow.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps me from juggling a bunch of different systems. Before, I used a lot of paper and different subscriptions for scheduling, forms, notes, and follow-ups. Now everything is in one place, and that has made such a difference. I feel more organized, I think my clients have a better experience, and while I still use paper, I know I have a formal place where everything lives (the paper is mostly emotional support at this point).

Very user friendly interface for the client. I always get positive feedback about using Practice Better. I like the ability to customize forms, notes and other options within the platform. I like that I can use it for communicating with clients, using the journaling, creating group programs, as well as my business features (faxing, managing invoices). The customer service is also very prompt and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

The AI generated note summary needs some correcting; would be great if it generated more types of notes (an after visit summary specific to client and one specific to providers).
The format to track labs is not ideal. I don’t have an account with the lab ordering programs it currently syncs with; I just want to be able to pull a table of labs from the assessment form they fill out into the client medical information section.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of client communication saves me enormous time and improves the experience for clients.

Consolidating most business tasks under one platform makes it easier to manage my business and prevent errors.

The ability for the client to schedule, reschedule, and message me through the platform eliminates the need for a phone service or scheduler which saves money.

I am loving how user friendly and helpful Practice Better is. It has allowed me to spend more time with my clients and still provide them with a quality experience. 

I’m able to handle my back office tasks in less time than it would normally take me. I have created groups and we use the mobile app, which makes it so much better and easier to communicate with my clients. I love that I can get off of social media and still interact effectively with my clients. 

The integration of That Clean Life has helped me secure more clients and spend less time creating meal plans. 

This is by far the best addition to my practice.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

The service /support and user functionality. In terms of integration, it was easy to access the support I needed, and this is huge, as it isn't without stress when you are changing systems.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

Struggling to thing of anything! Of course, it's work when you first switch, getting everything set up, moved across etc. but the support is there, and while it's a learning curve on the whole it is intuitive and relatively easy to figure out, and if not, you can get the support needed.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My primary reasons for switching was for HIPAA compliant messaging and the ability to offer hybrid programs all from one client management system.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

Practice Better is so helpful! I love all the features that help make my life easier as well as my patients. The onboarding practice goes smoothly with the digital forms. Scheduling patients is easy too with the automatic reminders. Organizing the patient’s file with notes, documents, supplement recommendations, lifestyle recommendations, and linking their labs, helps make it seemless! Practice Better also makes billing patients easy too.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

Practice Better is very user-friendly and easy to navigate, and customizable. You can make it your own. I think it’s well-organized, visually appealing, and has a clean, modern design that I enjoy. What stands out most to me is the support team—they genuinely seem to care about both the product and the people using it. I love that they reach out to check in and see how they can improve your experience. That level of care really makes a difference.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

There are a few areas where I think PB could improve—especially from a therapist’s perspective. I wish their assessment features were more robust, more like Headway’s system. Right now, the scoring is very basic, and there’s no way to do complex assessments or visually track progress over time with something like a graph. I’d also love to see a dedicated “Assessments” tab—having them buried in the “Forms” section doesn’t feel right, since forms and assessments serve very different purposes in therapy. Another limitation is the lack of internal collaboration tools. It would be incredibly helpful if I could schedule meetings with co-workers directly through the platform, but currently we have to rely on outside tools like Google Meet. Lastly, the journal feature feels like it was made with nutritionists in mind and hasn’t been upgraded. As a therapist, I’d really appreciate being able to create multiple journals for different therapeutic uses, including things like DBT cards. More flexibility and customization in the journaling area would go a long way.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Practice Better helps me present my practice in a modern, professional way while keeping things efficient and organized. It’s one of the more streamlined therapy platforms I’ve used, and while it’s not perfect—especially when it comes to therapy-specific features like assessments—I feel like they’re moving in the right direction. I like that it supports my workflow now and has the potential to keep evolving with therapist needs.

It has helped my automize my processes and save myself so much time. It's really easy to use and didn't take me very long to implement and start using it. Customer support was phenomenal! I was able to jump on a call whenever needed to get help with set-up.

The inability to have temperature and respiratory rate in the vitals section. Also, not a complete format for medical history that auto-populates, such as health screenings that are due (mammogram, colonoscopy, etc)

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

I like that I can manage all of my client charts, messaging, scheduling, and billing in one location. Everything is streamlined and user friendly. I like the features that make my charting more efficient like note templates and merging data from paperwork into a chart. It saves me so much time in charting and allows me to spend more time actually seeing clients. I like that practice better takes care of all appointment confirmations and reminders and  automated follow up forms so that it's one less thing for me to worry about. There are so many things that I like about PB, I can't just pick one!

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

There are not many features that I dislike. The AI charting feature could use some work for accuracy and detail. I use another platform for that and it is free. I dislike that you cannot see biometric data when you have a chart note open so I have to open two tabs in order to refer to this data while charting. It seems that there is a bug or error in the integration with Apple Watch because many of my clients will have missing data that is not syncing correctly on several occasions so I have to manually record it in their notes.

Practice Better helps me manage all of my insurance billing so that I do not have to use multiple platforms.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

I love the ability to sync multiple calendars and that it pushes and pulls information. Love the voice note feature from clients and that everything is in one spot. I enjoy the integration with square and ease of scheduling appointments/ linking with zoom.  I love their interaction on their private facebook group as well. I use PB daily and it wins out over the Healthie platform which I use for another job. Healthie doesnt have half the features of Practice Better. Want a simple, all in one with great suppport? Choose PB!

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I'd like the ability to make a website, landing pages and have more tutorials on how to create programs. It would be nice to have a community chat area similar to "Circle" as well.

Having clients one spot, billing, forms, contracts and programs.
