In the past, I have used free video downloaders like Internet Download Manager, SaveFrom, Y2Mate. They all used to work but from time to time when Youtube updates their website, they will bug out and will not download the video or will download a corrupted video. I always had to wait for an update so it can start downloading correctly again. I have been using PPTube for about 3 months now and so far I have had zero corrupted videos. PPTube supports many other websites too apart from Youtube. It also lets you download multiple videos together which is a very useful and time saving feature. The UI is much better compared to alternatives and makes it easy to use for newcomers. It also integrates with Spotify and lets you download Spotify songs which is a killer feature and I haven't seen any other competitors providing that option.
