First of all, the POZYX platform provides real time visibility on the manufacturing processes. From a computer (or other device) you can see the positions and movements in real time of the tracked assets (product components, forklifts, operators, and anything that has a uwb tag attached). In an instant you can see an entire workflow, even when this is located across few physical locations. Visualization of the process on a real map and at the same time on the workflow diagram brings incredible clarity about the status of the entire process and also in every detail about every asset. That is an amazing advantage for operational decisions and process status monitoring. Abnormalities can be defined as triggers so you can get automatic warnings instantly, no more delays to find out about them. While using the POZYX RTLS I am constantly looking to find dowsides or things that need improvement. I found one, which could be specific to some use cases, not only for the manufacturing company where I work. It is about the difficulty to implement the real-time system if the company is not well prepared to adapt its own internal procedures and people are not instructed about the Pozyx RTLS system. This is not something that is specific to Pozyx RTLS , because any type of manufacturing monitoring requires that the users must first adapt themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
