Seemless API integration with the core system. Ondemand support and ease of adding new quantifiable data. **What do you dislike about PowerSchool Unified Talent?** The system as a whole is a robust system. Wihout each module, the real value of the Unfied Talent Suite does not give you most for your money. Having all the modules really makes a big difference in your day to day HR managment. **What problems is PowerSchool Unified Talent solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves a large amount of HR daily managment issues. First it takes care of seamlessly posting and tracking job openings. Applicants can apply and manage everything in one area, while HR can veiw the applicnats and process interview times right from within the system. Records keeps out new and current employee up to date on paper work that is required and gives a historical look at those records for both employee and HR personnel. Perform allows the streamlining of annual reviews to eb done electronically and quantifies the reviews year over year for HR to easily review. Finally, we have the profersional development portion, which allows the HR team to assign trainings required by the company and can be assigned by sub categories to refine the types of trainings offered. ### 2. PowerSchool Unified Talent is a great tool for school districts and potential hires. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Ashley M. | I, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2021 **What do you like best about PowerSchool Unified Talent?** I love that Unified Talent has one central log-in screen that I can use to get to several different pieces of PowerSchool, depending on what needs I have that day. **What do you dislike about PowerSchool Unified Talent?** My district has used PowerSchool for a few years, and the one thing that I struggled with when we first incorporated Unified Talent was navigating the different areas. The layout is really different and harder to understand. My district already uses PowerTeacher and PowerSource and I love those. It took me a while to learn Unified Talent, but I love it now! **Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool Unified Talent:** Make sure you have representatives attend any available training sessions! The PowerSchool trainers do a great job at getting everyone comfortable with the product. **What problems is PowerSchool Unified Talent solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have had a hard time keeping annual evaluations organized. Unified Talent allows all teachers and administrators to easily access and submit their evaluation information so that our Human Resources department can send out contracts each year. ### 3. It requires little training in advance. All of the tools can pretty easily be figured out with just a little hands on experience and trial and error. Nothing is too difficult to figure out. **What do you dislike about PowerSchool Unified Talent?** I have not really found anything that I do not like about PowerSchool. I have been working with PowerSchool for the last 7-8 years of teaching and so far I have no complaints. **Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool Unified Talent:** I am not sure of the cost of the system because I have not purchased it myself but merely used the system but if you are considering it, go for it. **What problems is PowerSchool Unified Talent solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our school system has been using PowerSchool for a while now and we have been able to record and document data over the course of the years. Everything is easily viewed. ### 4. It shows the rubric for items that need to attention and sends email reminders or notifications for signatures. But honestly, other platforms do the same thing. **What do you dislike about PowerSchool Unified Talent?** It could be more user-friendly with its interface. I do not particularly like how I can move my pointer to type into a particular form, and it'll accidentally pop-out the side menu. This action happens so much and is annoying. It's also confusing when being in a form and trying to navigate back to the main page. **What problems is PowerSchool Unified Talent solving and how is that benefiting you?** PowerSchool is used to professional development and evaluation. ### 5. Grades, communication, attendance, and much more for students and parents are located in one easy-to-get-to-place. **What do you dislike about PowerSchool Unified Talent?** Sometimes it is difficult to locate parent contact information. This has happened with the new update, but everything else works smoothly on the site. It is a minor inconvenience. **Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool Unified Talent:** Use this to help with grading and parent communication! **What problems is PowerSchool Unified Talent solving and how is that benefiting you?** This allows me to be more organized as a teacher. Less grading mistakes are made, and improved communication with parents is being made. This improves learning in the long run. ### 6. It is very different from other evaluations systems and I have noticed some bugs in the system. **What problems is PowerSchool Unified Talent solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving problems of how to evaluate employees in a streamlined way.
