We have used Powerbuilder for over 20 years to build one of our leading ERP solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Powerbuilder?

Powerbuilder has gotten the job done for us, supporting a complex ERP solution. It has provided the tools we have needed both as a client-server application and now a browser-based application Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Powerbuilder?

We have had to work around some bugs in the product and IDE over the years. The constant change of ownership has over time slowed us down. We are in the process of moving away from Powerbuilder to a pure C# / .NET application Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Powerbuilder solving and how is that benefiting you?

We built and deployed a leading ERP system from scratch using Powerbuilder. It has been a game-changer for our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A bit slow at times, It crashes in between creating issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Powerbuilder:

Go for it. There could be alternatives today, but it still is the time tested app which serves all the purposes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
