I am using postman from last 3 years and this is the best for Callouts, to check the APIs of any aplication to change the data of the particular apps.
Like I am working as a Salesforce Developer, So It helps to integrate any software with Salesforce to check which Outh that app using to run the apis smoothlt also we can change the data using POST callout.
In Postman there are several pre defined API which you can use to intergrate something or to make callouts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only Dislike which i face is the Application history is not showing older than 4 months in the app but showing when we use in the browser. Which I want that that should give us the filter to fetch the particular date history, this will help massively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Postman is a powerful tool that simplifies API development includinf testing making it the indispensable resourse for a Backend developer. It's quite easy to undersand which makes the set up and testing quite easy. It is easy for non developers to understand as well.
My favourite part is the feature-rich environment it provide, including automated testing, mock servers, and the ability to save API into different collections make it very organised. Also the collaboration part is nice as it allows all the team members to share API's and update seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While postman is highly functional, it has few drawbacks. The learning curve for advance features like scripting in pre request features, while useful seem little overpriced, especially for small teams or solo developers.
The lack of offline capabalities for certain features also feels limiting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It supports http methods like GET,POST,PUT,DELETE.It works with restful API and soap AI and websocket API's.It allows creation of enviornments with variables like Base URL's, API keys to simplify testing in different set ups (Dev,QA,Production). It can organize API requests into collections for better workflow management and the collection can include API calls, scripts and test cases. It can automate tasks like setting headers, autentication tokens or extracting data from the output response. It enbales to share the collections, test cases within the teams. It allows creating mock servers to simulate API responses for testing before the backend isfully developed. Although Postman is a very poswerful tool but it can slow down or crash when handling large collections or datasets.Postman is a desktop application which consumes significant CPU and RAM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are certain features in Postman that look really good to me : 1.) Response formatting (can format the API response in JSON etc.) 2.) Environment setup (I can create and switch to a new environment which is very helpful to test the API response either in Quality or Production) 3.) I can easily get the code snippets for the provided API integration in the desired coding language, which is very helpful and time saving. 4.) I can also create my team, where all the members can perform testing simultaneously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not much to dislike in Postman, but few are: 1.) I can add only limited member in a team with a basic/free plan. 2.) Sometimes, I get 429 for repeated API calls. 3.) Sometimes I also feel like Postman should also allow the user to manage workspace as code blocks rather limiting it to endpoints only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its support to Test Rest APIs is awesome, along with its OAuth2 testing support. It is a one-stop solution for the Backend Application testing with Collections support for the detailed Documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For Testing of Sockets of socket.io, they have not included it for full-fledged testing Support, So, there is a need for the Socket.io testing development. At the moment, only basic socket.io testing is included. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part is ease of use to test APIs.I also like the collections part which makes managing multiple endpoints super easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I see issues with large collections as I observe it becomes unresponsive and slow. Also there should be some good debugging tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Best thing I felt about POSTMAN is that the interface is begineer friendly and the automation is Fabulous for Pentesters Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Issue I mostly felt was that the Processing Power and most of the feature are having a paywall setting which is not benefit for a free user also the reusablitiy of script is not possible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Postman helps to check if our APIs are working or not. It also lets us organize the APIs in different workspaces so that we can toggle between them easily. It also lets us enter parameters in an easy way. We can also generate authentication tokens and save them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no dislikes as such. We can use the software easily Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Postman offers a clean and intuitive user interface that makes it easy for developers to interact with APIs. It provides a visually appealing environment for designing, testing, and documenting APIs.
Postman offers a robust testing framework that allows developers to create and automate comprehensive tests for APIs. It provides features like assertions, variable management, and test result reporting, enabling efficient testing and debugging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Postman has a user-friendly interface, it can still have a learning curve for beginners new to API development and testing. The various features and functionalities may take some time to master, especially for those with limited programming experience.
Postman's performance can sometimes be affected when working with extensive API collections or complex requests. Response times may increase, and the application may become less responsive, impacting the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
