"Great price and easy tool for A/B tests and feature flags"
What do you like best about PostHog?

I like PostHog for the good price model and many tools inside. The interface looks nice and is easy to use. The payment rules are clear and friendly. There is a big free tier so you can check if it works for you before paying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostHog?

Some things are too much connected. For example feature flags are linked with A/B tests. I would like to use them also separate. There is no simple way to have different environments like production staging etc. I need to copy flags between projects and each project is my environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Tool for Analyzing User Journeys"
What do you like best about PostHog?

I use PostHog for my React Native mobile app to check the funnels or user journey. It helps me track the drop in users for a specific screen and offers session replay for my app. The initial setup was smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostHog?

As of now, it does not provide the session replay start and end for a specific screen. It would be really helpful if PostHog provided this for React Native. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing experiences with PostHog"
What do you like best about PostHog?

The most helpful thing about PostHog is how open they are with their users, being able to look through their website and be able to understand their company, pricing and great customer support. It has been easy to use PostHog as they have so much developer focused documentation which makes use, implementation and integration easy. I use it for all of my personal projects and I am starting to use it for more and more clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostHog?

So far I haven't found anything that I dislike, the only thing is that there are so many features that it can be overwhelming, but they have also added new features to help fix this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Impressive Heat Maps and Screen Recording, Perfect for Beginners"
What do you like best about PostHog?

Heat maps, user habit tracking and the high-quality screen recording feature really impressed me. The features in the free version are excellent for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostHog?

As much as I love the screen recording feature, I didn't enable it myself and I don't know how it is legally approached in my country. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Versatile, User-Friendly Analytics Powerhouse"
What do you like best about PostHog?

I find PostHog to be incredibly easy to use and appreciate its user-friendly interface. The extensive toolset feels like getting significant value for money. The unique and inviting design enhances the overall experience. I'm impressed by the thorough feature for setting up experiments, which rivals even Google Optimize. The session recording and experiment features are particularly impressive. PostHog offers valuable insights into my portfolio's user engagement and helps optimize strategies effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostHog?

I feel like the range of products PostHog offers can be overwhelming. While it provides a wide array of tools, navigating through all these options can be a bit complex and might benefit from a simplification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful analytics platform that feels ready to use out-of-the-box"
What do you like best about PostHog?

I’m really impressed by how advanced and easy to use PostHog’s LLM analytics and revenue analytics are. They feel like they were built for my workflow and don’t require a lot of setup before becoming useful. It’s rare to find a tool that combines powerful features with such quick time-to-value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostHog?

The sidebar can feel a little crowded at first, and it took me some time to get used to navigating everything. Once I got acquainted it was fine, but the initial learning curve could be smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive UI Makes Navigation Effortless"
What do you like best about PostHog?

I like the UI a lot, its intuitive and easy to find what i need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostHog?

One downside i notice is the local evaluation not really working all the time or properly, had some issues with it before. It could just be user error though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Feature-rich platform that could use simpler onboarding guides"
What do you like best about PostHog?

I started using PostHog because of the free version and found the automatic tools that are immediately available and configured very useful. I was also interested in checking out the AI features. And session recording, which allows you to visually see how a user navigates between screens, seems very valuable since few platforms offer this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostHog?

Well, I would like to see some guides, some simple guides, because I think PostHog is very large and has a lot of functionality that many people don't understand. And if there were some guides that you could do in a minute a day, a minute an hour — that is, short, brief, but clear — to go through, that would be super. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Autocapture, But a Steeper Learning Curve and Limited User Filters"
What do you like best about PostHog?

PostHog’s autocapture events are one of its best features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostHog?

it can be difficult to understand and not as intuitive for non technical people. Users page for the longest time didn't have filters, but now they do which is really good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
