Portnox Demo - Risk Assessment
You have many options for risk scoring across multiple devices types - make sure everyone's phone has a passcode, is up to date, and is not rootkitted/jailbroken. Risk is constantly evaluated, so any changes will be immediately factored into the device's risk score.
Portnox Demo - Automated Risk Remediation
This shows an example of just some of the options you have for automated remediation based on device risk score. Beyond the simple Quarantine/Allow/Deny, we can take actions like removing applications, updating anti-virus, and more!

"Effortless Cloud Network Control with Zero Maintenance"
What do you like best about Portnox?

It provides very good Network access control in the Cloud with no maintenance needed by my team. This gives us the visibility, controls and management needed to secure our internal networks. very easy deployment via a push of the agent to all our machines. The support has been fantastic. This has been very reliable from day to day perspective and helped us with our security posture reviews. Integrating into our network stack was seamless as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Portnox?

We had some issues initially setting it up and also for our laptop deployments, it creates more work since we have our techs login and then have to reset or flush the agent cache. Every once in a while, we have an issue with a port being blocked but have been able to uninstall and reinstall the NAC agent to get around this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Cloud-Native NAC Controls"
What do you like best about Portnox?

What I like best about Portnox is how it simplifies network access control without sacrificing security. The platform is intuitive, cloud-native, and easy to deploy, which significantly reduces operational overhead while still supporting a strong zero-trust approach. Portnox delivers enterprise-grade security in a way that’s practical, scalable, and aligned with modern IT environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Portnox?

Cost has increased in recent years. It used to be half of what it cost us today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modernizing Network Access with Cloud-Based NAC"
What do you like best about Portnox?

What stands out most is the reduction in infrastructure ownership. By moving authentication and policy to the cloud, we spend far less time maintaining servers and more time focusing on access strategy. The automated certificate lifecycle, continuous posture validation, and tight integration with Azure AD significantly strengthen our security model. Dynamic assignment based on identity and device trust makes segmentation much easier to manage. Deployment was straightforward, and support was very helpful during the initial rollout. What do you dislike about Portnox?

The Interface can take time to get familiar with, and some workflows are not immediately intuitive for new admins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Day-to-Day Management with Detailed Alerts and Logs"
What do you like best about Portnox?

Once set up and configured it’s very easy to manage on a day to day basis, the alerts and logs are very detailed and it works well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Portnox?

We’ve had a couple instances where policy is be applied differently than we’d expect. Usually the culprit is a device registered incorrectly or in the wrong group but that can be a little tricky to investigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Integration and Outstanding Support Across Multiple Sites"
What do you like best about Portnox?

Very easy to implement, agent is very lightweight and the customer support is fantastic. Whenever weve had issues with our obscure hardware and weird radius requirements theyve always managed to get us up and running. We use this across many sites across the UK and it works seemlessly. was very easy to integrate as any other 802.1x provider would be on a network level Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Portnox?

It is more expensive than other NAC providers, but you get what you pay for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Deployment with Top-Notch Support"
What do you like best about Portnox?

I appreciate Portnox for its lightweight agent that requires no user interaction, making it efficient and user-friendly. What I found most valuable was how Portnox support guided us through the initial setup process, turning what initially seemed daunting into a seamless deployment experience. Their involvement and support during the setup highlighted their commitment to customer satisfaction. This ensures that even as technology deployments can be challenging, Portnox stands by its users to make transitions smoother. The tool's capability to lock down all physical ports across various offices with minimal footprint is also impressive, enhancing our network security architecture. These aspects collectively contribute to the high regard I hold for Portnox and my willingness to rate it highly on a recommendation scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Portnox?

I would like Portnox to automatically parse old devices that have not been seen on the network for a period of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"RADIUS for the admin that doesn't want to manage RADIUS."
What do you like best about Portnox?

The platform is purpose-built to handle RADIUS. Setup is really fast, works almost right away, and has been seamless in functionality. The platform includes certificate management and we were able to integrate it into WorkspaceOne so we are able to revoke certs as part of our workflow shoudl the need arise.

Presales was a good experience, with knowledgeable individuals rather than pushy reps and a fully functional pilot program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Portnox?

Some errors are difficult to pinpoint, possibly because we are using WorkspaceOne for cert deployment, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of experience with that on the Portnox side. Troubleshooting requires four different parties (Internal network, internal endpoint, Portnox, WS1) to coordinate and collaborate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Integration, Set It and Forget It"
What do you like best about Portnox?

I appreciate Portnox for its seamless integration with MS Intune and a third-party CA; it works well! The setup of the CA and automatic certificate delivery through Intune was initially slightly complex, but once everything was up and running, we've had no issues all year. It's a set it and forget it solution. Portnox just works, and works well, simplifying things to the point where we plan to retire our old local office NPS server soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Portnox?

I think a more intuitive Web UI would be nice, but that's it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer for Network Access Control"
What do you like best about Portnox?

I love how Portnox serves as a robust network access control solution at my company, providing reliable tools and the flexibility of remote endpoints and cloud infrastructure. Its cloud-native NAC platform stands out as incredibly valuable, offering centralized visibility and control without the necessity of on-premises hardware, which is essential given our multiple locations across the US. I appreciate the ease of initial setup with Portnox, highlighting our ability to jump right in and begin our operations efficiently. The centralization of managing both managed and unmanaged endpoints is a breeze, especially with the cloud-native approach reducing operational overhead. Integrating Portnox with Okta ensures that we enforce conditional network access based on identity and compliance posture, adding a significant layer of security. Furthermore, connecting it with Meraki for our network infrastructure has streamlined management and simplified the process considerably. The reliability, scalability, and low operational overhead of Portnox make it a compelling choice that I would definitely consider repurchasing. Overall, everything is currently meeting our standards, and I find great satisfaction with the solution as it is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Portnox?

I find it challenging to identify which devices belong to us versus personal devices brought in by individuals. This identification and ensuring that devices connect to the correct Wi-Fi is time-consuming and requires careful switching to ensure proper access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
