Porter allows me to consolidate all of our HubSpot data into reports that I can't build natively in HubSpot. As we're on the Starter plan, it fills a number of reporting gaps but more importantly it lets us perform additional calculations and create custom metrics that HubSpot doesn't support. It was a bit fiddly to begin with and some of the reports weren't showing the correct data. After a call with support it seems the data wasn't pulling through correctly so my suggestion is don't spend too much time fiddly when you don't fully understand Porter and just book a call with a CSM! One-connector setup for the data sources that matter. I authenticate Google Ads, GA4, and Meta once and they flow into Looker Studio without me babysitting API quirks or rebuilding pulls every cycle. The ratio aggregation handling is the standout though. Blended metrics like CTR and CPA calculate correctly across any date range instead of averaging averages, which is the bug that breaks most native connector setups. When a ratio metric or blend is misconfigured, I'm often reworking the whole dashboard setup rather than patching the one calculation, which slows iteration. Connector auth can also drift and need re-authentication, and when a pull fails the error messaging doesn't always point clearly at the cause, so debugging takes longer than it should. Pulling Google Ads, GA4, and Meta into one reporting layer used to mean manual stitching every cycle, and the native connectors couldn't blend that data cleanly. Now those sources authenticate once and flow in reliably. The bigger problem it solves is ratio aggregation. Blended metrics like CTR and CPA broke the moment I aggregated across date ranges because the math was averaging averages instead of recalculating from totals. Porter handles that correctly, so the numbers I put in front of stakeholders actually hold up. The benefit is time and trust. Dashboard maintenance went from a recurring manual chore to something that mostly runs itself, and reporting cycles take a fraction of what they used to. If you are looking for a powerful alternative to traditional data connection tools, Porter is the way to go. What I like best is how effortless the implementation was. Right from the start, everything worked without any issues. The data load times are impressively fast, which has greatly improved our daily reporting performance. We needed a reliable way to deliver visually appealing, always up-to-date reports to our clients, especially around Social Ads performance across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Our previous solution was sluggish, unreliable, and also quite expensive. Porter Metrics addressed this completely by offering a stable, cost-effective alternative. Beyond the strong performance, the platform is genuinely intuitive and self-explanatory, which lets us build , review, and share accurate client reports much faster and with full confidence. Porter solves the problem of manual data extraction and fragmented reporting. Before using it, pulling data from various social media ad platforms was time-consuming and prone to human error. Porter automates this entire pipeline by feeding data directly into Looker Studio. What I value most is the field coverage. Migrating a multi-platform social dashboard from another connector, I found that almost every metric I needed already existed as a native field - and where it didn't, the calculated-field logic was straightforward. The trickiest part wasn’t Porter itself, but reconciling fields with my old connector.
