I like Portant because of its integration with Google Drive, which allows me to use standard Google Doc formatting. It's great that I can work in one window and see things update automatically within the platform. I also appreciate how the integration with Google lets me drop dynamic fields that adjust based on the content size, solving the problem of inserting dynamic content into PDFs without messing up the formatting. This feature is a significant benefit since it allows me to avoid the hassle of dealing with static PDFs where I would have to leave space for names of various lengths. I'm a bit unimpressed that Portant didn't have built-in functionality for contracts requiring witnesses, which is something that's necessary for my UK-based company. Though I did find a workaround with someone's help, a direct feature would be appreciated. I also found there was a learning curve in getting started with Portant. Initially, it seemed complicated, and I left to look for other platforms before eventually returning because of its high reviews and unique features. The flexibility of the application - works with both native and custom objects in HubSpot. The simplicity of the user interface. Most importantly, the exceptional customer service. I had some challenges during the initial implementation of Portant with our instance of HubSpot, as we use mostly custom objects. Their team was exceptional at helping me, and particularly persistent. James, their CEO, put in several hours - even with the time difference between Australia and the US -- helping me get everything in working order. They have, without fail, resolved all of the issues that came up. I was searching for something like Portant for a long time and when I discovered it - it's been the best thing to help our business become more efficient and digital! I run invoices, receipts, personalised letters, incident logs, file stores and Google Forms notifications through it! It makes letters/emails look more professional and has saved us so much money for allowing us to integrate it to existing systems in Google Drive, instead of having to use a third party provider for invoicing for example. We are a high frequency Portant user. Portant has found a way to make it truly easy to generate complicated contracts and communicate easily about it. For a Fintech and LegalTech startup this is an essential product, which is super easy to implement with Hubspot.

It's more about Google drive itself. It took some time to get all the access rights in order, also for people without Gmail address. But you can create a Google account with a non-gmail address, so that's all good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
