  ### 1. Quick, Seamless Onboarding with Time-Saving Rules, Billing, and Client Communication

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

The onboarding experience for my clients is quick and seamless. I can set rules that save me time. Billing and invoicing is also made easy and I like that I can use it as my primary platform to communicate with clients and keep track of outstanding tasks.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

Some of the features could be refined further. For example, not being able to assign multiple users to the company profile. I want to be able to assign individual tasks that can't be seen by other members of the company but sometimes I do need shared tasks so it makes it difficult to track. Allowing for my rules customization would be nice so that I can create rules such as at a given time in the month assign this task to the client. Alot of my work is reoccuring so having to create tasks each month and manually assign takes up precious time. I also wish there was a way to assign different scheduling apps to different clients. I have different levels of services and some clients have longer monthly meetings and not having the ability to tailor this forces me to do it manually outside the platform. Also, pricing is high when adding additional users. As I grow my team I'm aware of the hige cost I have to pay if I don't want all the users to see all the clients. I wish there was a cheaper option here.

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me communicating with my clients and a safe platform to collect sensitive information and documents. Having invoicing in one platform is nice as well. Though there are issues with mapping invoicing into QBO each month.

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

I love the “feels like I’m inside the businesses system feel” for clients. I love that I can bill them from the software, and I especially love the custom workflows, I love the forms, I love the ability to add multiple people a company etc

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

I’m sure it’s there but I haven’t messed with it too much so take this as user error - I don’t like that I cannot see a place where I can display my services more easily vs the client having to dig for them.

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I launched my business, the first thing I thought was “How am I going to keep track with our business clients?” Billing, scheduling etc. I had no idea a company like assembly existed. Of course, like other A.I users I did my lazy research and A.I vouched that assembly was top choice for my business so I went with assembly and A.I was not wrong. So currently, assembly helps with ALL of my client management and makes it feel more premium and luxurious and exclusive. Circle feel for sure.

  ### 3. Smooth Client Data Capture with a Stable, White-Label-Friendly UI

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

Assembly enables us to quickly and smoothly capture and manage information from our clients. We like the UI/UX experience, the ability for us to white label the platform with our brand, and it's stability as a platform. 

Assembly's customer service team does a great job responding quickly. It does work well with zapier and make, but there are some additional QOL features i'd like.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

Assembly is trying to be the core tool for many teams and that's just not the reality for our business. It would be nice if it made the process of integrating with other systems like Zoho CRM, OneDrive easier with in-platform automations. 

Additional features to segment audiences between our B2B clients and our B2C customers would be great. As the experience for these clients should be different.

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assembly gives an easy onboarding and customer facing experience for our clients. One of the biggest problems for our business was "Where was that information", or "did that client send us that file yet", or "who's email is that comment in?". Assembly brings all this information into one place.

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

I love how user-friendly Assembly is. It's very easy to understand and use for both myself as the business owner and for my clients. The client portal is customizable, and I love how seamlessly my brand integrates with the software. Assembly has given me a one-stop shop with all the tools and features I need to make my business successful, instead of having to create a tech stack. What impressed me the most was how professional it appears on the client's end. The client portal has been customized to match my brand, so it looks like I hired a designer to make that portal. The tabs on the left navigation bar are easy to understand and navigate. The initial setup was very easy, with clear, step-by-step instructions and a decent free trial period.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

It is s bit expensive. I do feel like I get the value needed though.

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assembly provides all the tools I need in one place, preventing the need for a separate tech stack. It integrates easily with my brand, impressing clients with a professional appearance. The client portal is customizable, and its user-friendly design benefits both me and my clients.

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

Copilot keeps all my clients in one place, and each one has their own branded portal. That setup makes it simple to manage messages, invoices, files, and forms without constantly switching between different tools. Having a dedicated, well-organized space for each client streamlines my workflow, keeps communication clear, and helps create a more professional experience for both me and my clients.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

I wish the plans were a little cheaper, but either way, I really love the platform.

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easy to keep all client information and projects in one organized place, including deposits, contracts, proposals, and invoices. With everything centralized, I can quickly pull up the details I need, track project progress, and manage client relationships more efficiently. Overall, it saves me time, lowers the chance of missing important details, and helps keep my workflow running smoothly.

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

I like how customizable Assembly is and how easy it is to add applications to a portal. It's definitely intuitive in interface, making it easy to use. The initial setup was very easy, and with just a few steps, I had already set up our brand. Assembly allows me to provide sponsors with a customized portal, making interactions feel less like a copy-paste experience. It's much more personalized and clean compared to OneDrive.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

I wish it was easier to copy and paste contact files or company files. I want to be able to duplicate the basic structure of what I'm sharing with one company for another without having to copy, paste, or re-upload everything, which is a whole headache. I also wish you could turn off showing when files were uploaded, as it makes it feel a little too new, like 'oh you uploaded these files 10 minutes before reaching out to me.'

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Assembly to consolidate site files, making it easy to engage potential business partners. It's intuitive and customizable, providing a personalized portal for different sponsors, which enhances our business programs and saves me from the overwhelm of email attachments.

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

It is easy to setup and configure. The ability to easily create separate 'areas' for each of our clients saves a lot of time and eases concerns around data security and access.

The integrations are excellent and allowed us to use many of our current assets on google workspace like forms.

Everything loads quickly and the site performance is great. I find google forms and data studio dashboards load quicker in assembly than in google workspace which is surprising but very welcome.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

At the beginning I found it a small bit difficult to understand companies and contacts and their uses, but once I read up on it it was okay

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Segregating data and giving clients a secure and professional platform to access it.

Assigning of tasks is also hugely helpful as it keeps track of open items and keeps both us and our clients accountable

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

I like Assembly for its simple UI, which makes it easier to manage client resources. The accessibility is fairly simple, allowing me and my clients to access stored files securely from a centralized location at any time. Assembly effectively handles client messaging and lead inquiries by providing a platform for sharing files that require review before signing engagements. It also solves problems like emailing documents, organizing files for multiple clients locally, and safeguarding client information in a secure server. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

Customizability options are lacking, and some clients get confused as to where things are. Instructions should be provided to the client when they first use a magic link to login, guiding them on how to continue accessing their dashboard going forward. That should be the first call-to-action when a client enters—to properly sign up so they can continue using the dashboard at will. Some clients also have zero issues and use it fine without any further instruction.

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Assembly for Client Resource Management. It solves emailing documents, saves time by organizing files for multiple clients, and safeguarding client information in a secure server.

**What do you like best about Assembly?**

It’s easy to use, with a simple, easy-to-navigate interface. The client portal looks professional and does a great job of bringing many items together in one place. The ability to assign tasks and use that workflow, rather than relying on email, is a great time-saver. The recently added automatic task follow-ups are also very helpful and reduce the time spent tracking down overdue tasks.

**What do you dislike about Assembly?**

The desktop app could be quicker. It can take some time to load, and jumping from one screen to another isn't always seamless.

**What problems is Assembly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assembly is helping us centralize client communication and tasks. Instead of relying on email to track onboarding steps, asset reviews, and similar items, we can assign tasks directly, making it much easier to see what’s been completed and what’s still outstanding.

Assembly is giving us one centralized system to manage our entire client lifecycle, from lead capture to onboarding to ongoing service delivery. Before Assembly, information was spread across messages, email, HoneyBook, and spreadsheets, which created delays, missed follow-ups, and inefficiencies.

Now, Assembly allows our team to:

• Capture and organize leads in one place
• Assign ownership and tasks to the correct team member (Diedra, Echia, or myself)
• Track every client’s stage in the pipeline, from inquiry to paid client
• Automate follow-ups, reminders, and onboarding workflows
