Podium is a powerful communication tool for my entire team. First, we may all seamlessly communicate directly with guests. And we may do so in the format they prefer, via text. Second, AI helps the entire team to remain communicative around the clock. And third, the automated processes help us to maintain incredible review counts and quality scores. We began with Podium when it was a review site only then moved into using it for online chats on our website and now sms communications and marketing. It grows with the changing demands of business and our reviews are much higher than others in our market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From the start, podium has been very user friendly as a general user (without advanced permissions). The software layout is pleasing, organized, & easy to find certain clients. Our customers love having this option as a form of communication, and it was an easy onboarding transition for our staff! I also love how quick and effient the IT staff is on finding, diagnosing, and solving issues. I would like to be able to search for contacts by keywords in conversations. For example, if I am looking for a thread of messages regarding a "blue shoe," it would be super helpful to search all conversations to find the one mentioning a "blue shoe." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really enjoy that Podium is extremely user friendly! Because of my job, I use it daily and the simplicity makes reaching out to multiple customers a breeze! This was definitely designed with ease of implementation as well as ease of integration in mind because not only am I able to provide a GOLDEN customer service experience for those reaching out, I am also able to send out bulk promotions with the click of a button! While I haven't been effected, their customer support team is always on top of sending out notifications when there is an issue and giving regular updates as well. I have access to multiple locations within my account, and I loved when I was able to log in and see all the messages from all locations. I now have to adjust this setting each time I log in, which isn't a huge deal, but because it came with an update, it has taken some getting used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really love the fact that you can have multiple different texting "lines" all configured into one! For the company I work for, this is great when working for mulitple different accounts. Easy to move between each account, and the ability to view one at a time is also great! Templates also make texting back and forth with customers easy, and the abilty to bulk message with special promotions/updates is a major plus! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although I believe a lot of the update has been great, the most recent one that they had moved all the tabs above to the left hand side has made things slightly confusing. I find it hard to navigate through the contacts, bulk messaging, and other tabs since they have moved over. I feel like as if the settings could be a bit more navigation friendly as well, as they are all crammed into 3 catigories currently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very easy to link mulitple different forms of social media/accounts where the customer can contact you. The templates you can create make it so much easier to promptly respond to leads! You are not able to merge customers that have been created with the same name but has different contact types. You cannot prioritze a particular contact type. If a customer receives a review notification, it will automatically go to the contact info that was originally entered first. In other words, if email only was entered to create customer but you add a phone number after creation, it will automatically send any automatic review invites to email and not text message. Not everyone checks their email regularly and it would be helpful to prioritize contact preferences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We like the Podium platform since it allows us to maintain a database of patients, obtain reviews, and ommunicate via text messaging with the Twilio add-on to use our office landline as an SMS number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like pushy sales people, and that's how I felt about the new A.I. assistant feature I was coaxed to book a Zoom appointment to hear about. The Podium representative pushed our scheduled appointment back, and then didn't show up for the postponed appointment. If Podium reps are busy with customers, don't overbook appointments. That's not how I run my medical practice. If you want my business, be timely, objective, honest, and real. Don't try used-car sales tactics of sensationalizing new offerings. Podium has allowed customers to inquire about product availability, dimensions, schedule deliveries, and make choices after hours. The tool has been easy to onboard new team mates to use and work together. It's been easy to integrate reviews and payments with good support from the Podium team to help us get set up quickly. Podium implements new features on a regular basis and they usually work but sometimes it breaks functionality. Overall, it's a win and can sometimes be frustrating when a feature goes away for reasons we, as users, don't understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love most about Podium is it's ease of use! The UI is very clean and has simple options to make users experiences as seamless as possible! Being able to send templates to customers saves me a lot of time so I can reach out to more people! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't know if it's just our business in specific having issues but I have not been able to add new templates by myself that I can use. I have to wait for my manager to make one for us all to use but I would really like to be able to make my own templates to add some more uniqueness to my text!
