Podium is a reflection of how easy it can be to consolidate everything your business needs in one place. I am a huge fan of the communication aspect of Podium. It's beyond easy to connect with potential and existing clientelle. I love the bulk messaging feature which helps me keep my clients in the loop of special offers and deals our company offers periodically. My favorite feature is the contact list. Having the ability to keep my business contacts separate from my person contacts is a life saver! 10/10 Recommend this software! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I won't say anything about Podium unhelpful. I will say, incorperating an option for a questionare landing page would be great. Letting a potential client click a link that will bring them to a Podium via Business landing page to answer qualifying questions would be a great add. This is a good way for clients to swifly communicate when they do not have time available for a phone call with a rep or specialist.

Podium is easy to use for our text messages from our customer base. The messages are easy to sort and see which ones have been answered and which ones are new. Our whole team can read the text messages at the same time. Podium has a feature where it shows if someone else is responding so customers don't get duplicate messages from the team. We have multiple inboxes on Podium for different groups within our organization, keeping tasks easily assigned to the correct groups. We use Podium all day every day and it's made communicating so much easier with our clients. Podium is very easy to use and very effective. It is the best way to contact people and have them contact us directly. The use of templates is very useful in sending out similar messages to many people. I have it on my computer and my phone. Sometimes the website doesn't give a notification until later. And sometimes it will say there is an unread message when there is nothing there. But a good refresh every once in a while gets it going again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Podium is wonderful to use. It is so easy to set up, it is so easy to implement, and our customer support folks are INCREDIBLE. We have loved using Podium and recommend it to anyone and everyone possible.
We use it every single day for almost ALL of our customer communication and have enjoyed the common inboxes, call recordings, and transcriptions. The integration with our CRM is also incredible, it allows us to sync our contacts, see all of our leads, and utilize our customer lists to mine for business! Podium makes it super easy to collect reviews from customers by texting them a link and the customer can choose from multiple sites to post their review. I also love that Podium passes along GCLIDs on incoming messages when available. We use a delayed webchat widget to offer users the ability to text with us without seeming too pushy or negatively affecting our site load time. The reporting capabilities are pretty basic. The ability to search conversations, customize views and reports still needs some work, but they do seem to be continuously trying to improve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In a day and age where more and more people are comfortable texting and the stigma of professionalism around texting is changing, Podium works as a great tool to organize clients and communication. I can easily see if I have reached out to a client, I can review our past communication and I can quickly get answers from clients while avoiding the time consuming aspect of speaking on the phone. I don't know if Podium controls this part but I do not like the 2% surcharge for payments. If there was no fee for debit cards Podium would be a 10/10. Our tickets are on the larger side so 2% adds up quick! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Years ago, my company integrated Podium's communication tool into our company's website, and the team was thrilled with the results! We used the platform every minute of every day, and it transformed how we interacted with customers, making communication seamless and efficient.
Later, we decided to try another communication/reputation management tool. We saved a little money, but the platform was clunky and glitchy—basically a mess. It became so frustrating that the team began to complain, and it was evident that we needed to switch back to Podium.
We switched back to Podium because of the smooth, user-friendly interface, which allows customers to reach out via chat and text. Getting messages from our website has added a fantastic way for us to connect with customers! All the messages come straight to an easy-to-use inbox that our team can access. This means that everyone can jump in and help out with any questions or issues that come our way. These features help us respond in a timely manner and ensure no inquiry slips through the cracks.
Other impressive aspects of Podium include its ability to improve our reputation. We can send customers ready-made review templates or create our own. We can also track customer interactions and gain valuable insights into our communication patterns, helping us refine our approach.

When our company first started using Podium, the customer support appeared personal, almost heartfelt. It seemed the support team genuinely cared about our team's opinions and satisfaction. We used to use a different program for texting clients and it was not especially user friendly. We got very overwhelmed after we had to make certain adjustments during Covid lockdowns. It was so easy to install and transfer all of our customers over, and we have never looked back! I especially love that I don't have to be in the office to use the program and find customers' information. And texting to pay has really helped us with following up on invoices. I do wish running reports was easier, and that it didn't look so different for admins/non-admin users. I also don't like how sometimes it can be buggy. IT'S SUGGESTED REPLIES CAN BE A LITTLE BOGUS, I HAD ONE THAT WAS 50+ CHARACTERS OF NONSENSE SYMBOLS AND LETTERS COULDN'T EVEN SEE THE WHOLE THING WHEN HOVERING OVER IT. THE ONE TIME THE SYSTEM WENT DOWN I HAD TO USE GOOGLE TO FIND THE MAIN WEBPAGE TO FIGURE OUT WHY IT WAS DOWN RATHER THAN BEING ABLE TO FIND IT ON THE MAIN PAGE FOR LOGGING INTO THE TEXTING APP Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT PODIUM IS I CAN TYPE UP A MESSAGE, AND SAVE IT AND RESEND IT TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS I NEED TO AND NOT HAVE TO CHANGE THE NAME EACH TIME MYSELF, PODIUM DOES IT FOR ME!!!! I ALSO LIKE THE FACT THAT ON THE BUSINESS END OF IT WE CAN SEE WHO WROTE THE MESSAGE, SO I CAN GO TO THAT PERSON IF I HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, I ALSO LIKE THE FACT THAT I CAN TEXT AS MANY PEOPLE AS I NEED TO, ITS FAST AND SUPER EASY TO USE!
