I am a "silver surfer" and have set up a PIM from a standing start with a colleague. Neither of us have previous experience in PIM. We picked Plytix as a possible candidate from a number of PIMs we looked at. We presented the detail to the MD and Sales Director using the various information gleaned from the internet and the decision was made on the videos we presented. Our regular contact with the team has been superb and our hands have been held all along the way. Nothing is too much trouble and where necessary any formulas we need have been provided to us. The product is very easy to use and to set up. I now access it most days and am able to update it and pull information for my colleagues and customers very easily. It is especially useful to be able to give access to colleagues in the business whilst maintaining control. It is a great product, intuitive and always available. I find the "help" file is not always intuitive and difficult to navigate. I have spent some time in order to find what I want then am unable to find it again, when I want to refer to it. A book mark would be useful. Otherwise, I have no issues or dislikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Plytix continues to be incredibly user-friendly, making it easy for anyone on our team to use—even new colleagues can be trained quickly and efficiently.

One of the features I appreciate most is how seamless it is to import large data sets into the PIM. We currently use a specialized AI tool to populate an Excel sheet with detailed product information, which we then import directly into Plytix without issues.

Our next step is to connect this AI directly to the Plytix API to fully automate the enrichment process for new products. We're really looking forward to taking this next leap in streamlining our product data management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since the latest update, I've noticed that the option to display a specific number of products per tab (e.g., 25, 50, 100) is no longer available. Now, all products are listed continuously under each other. While the new layout provides a complete overview, it sometimes affects performance—scrolling can feel sluggish due to the amount of data being loaded at once. New features around formula fields, automating much of the manual calculations we were doing before, offline. New options for product families that automate dependency fields on products based on their categories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The recent changes to attribute formulas, which now allow us to use them beyond channel outputs and brand portals, have been a significant improvement for our team. This enhancement has made it easier to group and structure our data more efficiently, streamlining several workflows and saving valuable time. Also, the new AI formula assistant makes creating and correcting errors when creating or updating formulas a much easier task.

Additionally, I continue to be impressed by Plytix's customer support. They recently resolved a critical data channel output issue, ensuring our workflows remain uninterrupted. One potential improvement I would appreciate is an enhancement to the user interface. Specifically, it would be helpful to have the option to pin or freeze selected columns to the left side of the screen, so they remain visible while scrolling horizontally through product data. It makes managing product information incredibly straightforward, even when dealing with large datasets or multiple retailers. The interface is user-friendly, and the ability to customize attributes, create smart lists, and share data via channels or brand portals saves so much time.

The platform can be slow when searching SKUs or loading Smart Lists, especially those Smart Lists with a Static lists included.

Bulk editing is limited—editing more than three attributes at once would be a big improvement.

AI functionality could be more implemented. It would save time to use prompts to autofill or generate content across multiple SKUs at once, instead of manually adding the same prompt to each attribute per SKU .

There’s also a lack of guidance in the Help Center on managing client accounts, particularly how changes in the main account impact them.

Automation is limited. Tasks like adding a new attribute require manual updates across all Brand Portals, including display settings etc.

Finally, Brand Portals could be more retailer-friendly—retailers can't filter by multiple SKUs or OCDs, which would make navigation much easier and time efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Plytix is a great tool to make master data management easier. It's very intuitive to use, got easily adopted across teams. The support from the Plytix team is also great. It nicely integrates with other tools we use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The limitless amout of fields to make, the searchability of all the infomation. Very easy to use for all users. Because of the flexible import and export functionality you can easaly integrate this with other systems. We use it every day in our operations, it is the one truth for all our product infomation. It is very nice that you can make view on the infomormation for your customers. They can login and find all information of our products in one place in their own language wich is always the latest version.
