The main challenge we’ve run into is making sure the recommended hardware is chosen and used from the start. Performance and reliability depend a lot on selecting the right equipment, such as the correct Amazon Fire TV Stick model or a compatible smart TV. When we stick to the recommended devices, the system works very well. However, using unsupported or lower-spec hardware can cause minor performance issues. I was looking for a simple to use digital signage app that was web based.

Play Digital Signage is very easy to get to grips with and you can create numerous playlists and slides and choose where to output these to.

You can easily upload media, incorporate live streams, RSS, and much more.

The fact that you get one free screen and it works so easily was a big plus for me. We wanted something simple yet powerful that didnt cost the earth.

What I like most about Play Digital Signage is the ease of setup and remote management of content. To be perfectly honest, I discovered Play Signage after experiencing a catastrophic failure with my media panel using Yodeck, which I couldn't resolve, and their support didn't help. I searched for another platform and found Play Signage, and there was no bureaucracy involved. The player is stable, the playlist editor has many more customization options compared to the previous platform I used. To be truly honest, I have no complaints about my experience with Play! To be honest again, I tried to find flaws, hahaha, but I didn't find any. To avoid sounding like a liar, there was just a translation error in the player options. When you activate it, you think the player itself will restart, but it restarts the machine. And in my understanding, the player is the software, not the hardware. I had the scheduled restart option activated for a week, and the machine restarted every night. I thought it was a defect, but it was that option that was activated, haha.
