Top Rated Planyard Alternatives

As a construction manager, I’m mostly interested in the profitability of projects and cash-flow. Fizure gives me a clear overview of every project - what are the costs for a given project, what’s the income and what’s the profitability forecast. It’s possible to even see how it has changed over time.
Before Fizure project managers had to put forecasts and overviews together manually in Excel once per month, which was time-consuming. Now I don’t even have to ask them - I have 24-7 access to that data as Fizure is cloud-based and always up-to-date.
We’ve also managed to standardize progress reporting & billing. The line-items in the budget are automatically linked to contracts and extra works are managed through the system as well. This means that it’s not possible for subcontractors to make mistakes (knowingly or not) when sending us progress reports and invoices through the system.
Every decision and action gets logged. So, it's always possible to see what exactly got agreed on and how things have changed over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The consolidation of information, namely the costs invoiced and incurred could be better, but it seems that improving this functionality is already on its roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest advantage of Planyard is that it helped me move away from excel! Manually updating excel tables for project cost control is time consuming and also error prone. Using Planyard greatly simplifies the whole process saving time and energy that is best used elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As Planyard is a relatively new product it will take some time and effort to get the whole supply chain used to using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Super helpful and responsive support staff who are the actual developers, not a call centre worker reading from a script.

That I didn't find it sooner! Some of the terminology was confusing but this has been updated now. And there is a detailed explanation attached to every box within the software. The support team are also very willing to help if you have any queries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I save 3 workdays a month (15% of my work time). One part is time-saving, but another part is stress - I don't need to follow in detail that every invoice would get copied on Excel, that nothing would be entered twice, nothing gets lost, or that there wouldn't be a calculation error. It's especially important as there are constantly new priorities coming up for a project manager and it's hard to find time for focusing and doing manual budget tracking.
Planyard UI is quite user-friendly. It just took a couple of hours to learn the main functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It’s easy to use. It takes me just two clicks to send cost documents to Fizure through their Outlook add-on and I can deal with them further whenever I have time.
All the documents and data are now in one place. I don’t have to use a complicated system of folders or print anything out. Plus contracts, progress reports, costs etc. are linked together with line-items and subcontractors, so, can always see what’s behind the numbers.
It has simplified things for site engineers as well - they can upload invoices and receipts from their phone and comment what the cost was about. It will be linked to the right line-item and I can then approve it for payment. No more back and forth emails to find out what was behind the cost.
The subcontractors save time as well. They don’t have to send separate files to me. Progress reports, invoices and extra works are all managed through Fizure. Without them having to even create an account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It’s a minor thing and maybe not relevant for others but it would be nice if Fizure could sort contracts by their name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
