It's also very intuitive to use, both as a user and as a builder to create new reports - no need to learn a programming language like some other systems. **What do you dislike about Planacy?** So far (JUN2024), there is no graphs like waterfall diagrams etc. Apparentely on the way though (we didn't choose the PowerBI integration). **What problems is Planacy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Planacy will help us a lot with: - An easy to use budgeting model where we can see where each department/business unit are in the process and review and approve before the budget gets aggregated - Forecasting based on the actuals and current trend versus budget. The system is very adaptable and hence suitable for our unique organisation. **What do you dislike about Planacy?** The developmet of the HR Module was a bit challenging, but in the end it was very well set up. **What problems is Planacy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior the implemenation of Planacy, we had no consolidated financial planning system and all cosolidation was made in excel. Also our budgeting process very challenging because of the lack of a consolidation system and all work was carried out in excel. Planacy helps us consolidate our buiness units and to analyze our total p&l. The integretion with our BI-Tool is also very smooth. **What do you dislike about Planacy?** Not much to dislike, but some tables and lists can not be downloaded to Excel. **What problems is Planacy solving and how is that benefiting you?** The time our organization spends doing forecast has deacreased significantly. As a consequense we have started doing forecasts on a monthly basis. We have a seamless process where we have connected the system to our ERP, HR System and our CRM. Hence, no one has to retrieve figures from other systems. As a fast growing multinational enterprise we appreciate to be able to adapt Planacy to adjust our solution in response to updated circumstances. It’s integrated with our Business Intelligence tool (Qlik Sense), which facilitates the upload of historical data and enable us to seamlessly analyze the forecast against actuals and prior forecasts. We have set up the system and have had great help from the CS rep during that process. We are coming from an Excel environment but intend to use Planacy as a reporting tool also. I personally (CFO and admin) use it every day but is still a beginner. Integrations with our main accounting software (Fortnox) works well but import from Quickbooks online has been a bit of a hassle but I am sure we will come to terms with it. **What do you dislike about Planacy?** Functionality for simple graphs would a an advantage. We intend to integrate with Power BI. **What problems is Planacy solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used a complicated Excel file for budgeting and reporting purposes and it was becoming more and more complex and errors and problems with links were common. We directly connect to QlikSense, which analyzes the numbers very quickly! **What do you dislike about Planacy?** I do not dislike this, but if you want to use Planacy and have an in-house admin, that person needs to understand a lot of how the "architecture" of hierarchies and data is built into the system to be able to error search. **What problems is Planacy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Planacy solves our problem of building our Budget tool in excel or similar. We can have all our users directly in the system doing their own input very quickly. We have problems and support is some days satisfactory, some days it could be better.We only use it once a year for budget, why process instructions need to be renewed. Loading from Visma to Planacy as reference for budgeting has not been performed without problems. **What problems is Planacy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Planacy helps us manage about 300 cost centers and loading data from Planayc to Qlik twice a day gives us a view of how work i progressing, or not progressing. Compicated when we need to change or move cost centers and/or accounts or people. The currency administration with more option between years would be helpful. Many market companies, business areas, type of sales and products. By using out HR system as data input and the get revenues, cogs, costs based on this has made working with forecasts fast and correct. As a fast-growing company there are a lot of uncertainties and need the simplify based on employees, which has worked perfectly with Planacy. Also giving department managers access to add future employees by them self is a strong feature, which allows us to see and consolidate what each department is planning to recruit, and the effect of each decision. I am personally a major fan of the Excel Add in, where I can get all the outputs of the data inputs, and calculations directly from Planacy into Excel to make easy charts and tables for ex board reports or ad hoc analysis. **What do you dislike about Planacy?** As good as it is on deriving data on parameters, it is also a bit complex which makes it difficult to make changes in the calculations without a consultant aiding. I got the opportunity to take part in a developer training and to see the settings of Planacy gave insight to both what a complex system it is but also the opportunities in it. You can make anything in it, not only finance stuff. **What problems is Planacy solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have, as many other companies, used an over complex Excel-file that in many different versions and at multiple locations. It was hard to keep track on which version was the latest and track all the changes. It is also impossible to budget and do forecasts down to profit center and cost center per account as the Excel-file would be too large to handle.
