What is Planable?

Planable is a social media collaboration platform that brings teams and brands together under one roof. WHO USES PLANABLE? Owing to its roots in the agency and creative world, Planable is a platform created by people who understand exactly what creatives need — a tool that eliminates the logistics of social media management and allows them to focus on creating content. Currently, 50K users and over 5K teams from brands such as Hyundai, Christian Louboutin, Viber, and United Nations use Planable to approve and collaborate on their content. WHAT ARE THE MAIN FEATURES OF PLANABLE? At its core, Planable is the product of three people who experienced the same social media management hurdles in their agency days. Consequently, Planable designed its main features with teams in mind. WYSIWYG Planable follows a WYSIWYG design philosophy, focusing on simplicity, elegance, and efficiency. Planable is designed to be user-friendly both to technically-savvy social media teams as well as those that simply want a tool that gets the job done. Everything is one click away and in the same place — no need to clutter your browser with dozens of tabs. FOUR WAYS TO VIEW CONTENT Social media campaigns have lots of moving parts. This makes having an accurate overview of campaigns all the more important. Planable’s four ways to view content allow teams to literally vizualize their work quickly and effortlessly: 1. Feed view. Designed to mimic the feel and flow of social media. Displays posts exactly as they appear on feeds. 2. Calendar view. Get a helicopter view of campaigns and plan posts days and months ahead. Scheduling content is as simple as dragging and dropping it to its relevant time slot. 3. List view. Offers a quick view of posts across all pages and the ability to do bulk actions. In this view, users can see a snippet of the caption, the status of the posts, the author, and the date and time of publishing. 4. Grid view. The place to plan and preview Instagram posts. Also great for designing beautiful Instagram grids hassle-free. SEAMLESS TEAM COLLABORATION With Planable, collaboration is the name of the game. Collaboration happens right next to the post, where it makes sense, in the form of comments and replies. Teams can tag each other to share their thoughts, drop files, and any relevant assets. With internal notes, teams can keep their work away from the client’s eyes until all the posts’ rough edges have been shaved. MULTI-LEVEL APPROVAL PROCESSES With Planable’s approval workflows, no post sees the light of day until it’s 100% ready. Every team has its own dynamic, so Planable offers one of four approval workflows: 1. None. For one-person ventures and teams that don’t need an approval workflow. 2. Optional. For flexible teams that don’t necessarily need an approval workflow but want one in place just in case. Team members can request approval from the people in charge with a single click. If the designated approver is not available, they can go ahead and schedule and/or publish posts on their own. 3. Required. No post goes live without the approval of managers. Especially useful for marketing teams who work with clients. 4. Multiple levels of approval. Teams that select this option can set as many levels of approval as they need. Each level can have one or multiple approvers. When one of them gives their approval, the post is pushed to the next level until all the relevant parties have vetted the content. EIGHT SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS Currently, Planable supports the big seven social platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and Google My Business. What do you like best about Planable?

I must say it's design. I have worked with a lot of different softwares over the years and plannable has some of the smoothest UX/UI possibilities. And because it is cloudbased i don't have to save everything everytime, which has helped me out a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planable?

What i really do miss in the program is the ability or the option to see, analyze and share the results over the channels that i have connected. I am a freelancer and most of my clients want regular updates on how there profiles are doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Planable?

Planable has simplified my content marketing work. Now I spend less time doing manual work and collaborate better. In addition, it’s making my social media management and creativity very easy for me. This app allows me to manage social media channels where and when I want to. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, and I find everything I need quickly. What do you dislike about Planable?

I don't have a team to post to my social media, so I have to do it myself. Connecting my Instagram account was demanding, and I had to reach out for Planable help. And honestly, I didn't dislike anything; everything was excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It helps schedule lots of different posts for business and personal branding. In addition, it is easy to switch between my workspaces.

I like that they make it super easy to schedule posts, and across platforms too, far easier than facebook and they force you to schedule (a major pet peeve of fb) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Excellent app!!! Makes life so much easier as you can post to multiple platforms with the click of a button, rather than going into each individual platform! What do you like best about Planable?

It's a simple app I can recommend to anyone, regardless of their level of technology skills. You can copy similar-sized content for other social media platforms, which means you can also save a load of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planable?

Please make it so you can create a reoccurring schedule; this part is a bit annoying to have to do this for a regular daily post but still liveable. I also prefer apps that have dark modes that you can enable, which this one doesn't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
