What I love about Pirros is the ability to create stacks of typical details. I am working on various projects that require the same details and rather than having to draw or copy them numerous times, I simply have to download the stack I created in Pirros to the Revit model and all the details I need are there within minutes. The main benefit I receive from Pirros is a library of details in one place that I can sift through and grab details for a project. Sometimes, I use it to learn about another type of connection detail or material type that I have never worked one before and compare how they differ.
