We switched from McKesson to Pioneer and couldn't be happier. Fast tech support, compounding integration, many tools for management and more. **What do you dislike about PioneerRX?** It's not the cheapest software on the market, doesn't have as many report features as I would like, running the software offsite is "possible " but at a snails pace **What problems is PioneerRX solving and how is that benefiting you?** Running the pharmacy ### 2. I could go on and on about the great things this does and does well. **What do you dislike about PioneerRX?** Not extremely flexible with different types of pharmacy ie. compounding, mail order, specialty. Can do them, but not their main focus, which is okay. **What problems is PioneerRX solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pioneer has helped us work faster and more accurately, with greater visibility across the entire process. ### 3. I like how there are so many components to it even though it might be intimidating at first. **What do you dislike about PioneerRX?** I dislike the dull layout, but everything's zoomed out to fill the screen with more tabs and make it more efficient. **Recommendations to others considering PioneerRX:** It may seem very overwhelming, but it gets easier and soon you will realize everything is there for more efficiency. **What problems is PioneerRX solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am typing and processing prescriptions whether it's electronic, intake, walk-in, verbal, or transfer. I can view the rejection, do overrides, and see specific medications I am choosing. ### 6. It works great for a smaller independent pharmacy like I work at but it also has all the features that would be useful in a bigger chain store. I love the interface it has with PK Software from PCCA for compounding. This has made billing so much easier for me. The workflow features when used correctly can really maximize efficiency and help prevent errors. I also believe this software is very user friendly. The install/training team was great and patient answering all our questions and easing us through the transition. **What do you dislike about PioneerRX?** There are some features that I think would be useful as far as reports. It is harder to navigate sales reports and if a vendor is not auto-linked. There is however and idea button where you can submit ideas for upgrades and vote on the ideas submitted by others so that they are aware of the needs of their clients. **Recommendations to others considering PioneerRX:** I would highly recommend PioneerRx. It is a very user-friendly and efficient system. The installation and customer service teams are outstanding. **What problems is PioneerRX solving and how is that benefiting you?** Work-flow efficiency. Helps to eliminate errors. Also alerts us to how many Rx a patient has and where in the pharmacy they are located. ### 8. Really enjoyed the patient profile sorting system. Best pharmacy software I've ever used hands down.
