The best thing about pinterest is its vast domain. It has almost everything. Quotes, images, pictures, recipes, ideas, latest fashion trends, storage. It also has a vast community where you can share the ideas and connect with the audience across diverse geographies. It boasts of a vast collection of information on diverse topics and it serves as a central repository for information.

It also has its own app which you can download from the app store of your phone.

Now a days, pinterest has a become a bit slow and full of ads.

Opening a pinterest website in a mobile browser can sometimes prove to be cumbersome as it does not optimizes the page well. A login window prompts up and it is quite sticky.

Navigating can be an issue sometimes.

Pinterest lacks offline access and primarily operates with internet connection to access saved pins and boards. This can be a hurdle sometimes if one has to access ideas and their saved pins quickly with no internet connection. As a user, there are plenty of advertisements that are completely unrelated to anything I have clicked on. As a seller, I hope for more targeted content in order for more exposure. The algorithm does not favor small creators one bit in my honest opinion.

Also, there is not very strong moderation from what I have seen. There is plenty of hateful, inappropriate content on the site that has been posted & spread for years.
