I've got both types of profiles through Pinterest! Which are both (professional), as well as personal!! I have been obsessed with this app since I was in high school, AND STILL TO THIS DAY!! I use it actively, on a weekly basis, and it's really helpful for me throughout every aspect of my life. Personally, and professionally! SO EASY TO USE, and gain experience or even knowledgeable insights, no matter what the topic might pertain! Pinterest pulls inspiration from all over the internet and allows you to categorize it to fit your interests. As an artist I gather reference images for vairous projects on a weekly basis. This site allows me to easily set up a folder for a specific project and fill it with images for that project. It will also suggest images based on the items I have selected which is very helpful.

I have also used this for crafting ideas, gathering recipes for baking, ice cream, and dinners, gift lists, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The least helpful part about Pinterest is the advertising. I know ads are necessary but they can be intrusive at times.

Another thing that bothers me is how the Pinterest homepage gathers images. Instead of sticking with my interests it will often skew to the project I am currently gathering reference for... so if I'm doing a graphic novel about teens at the beach I am suddenly overwhelmed with images selling teen clothing or showing scantilly clad women. I enjoy robots and dragons on the regular so I would love a way to set the homepage algorythm and not have it skewed by current searches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The keyword search is very powerful as you just need one keyword to get you the perfect image or right informative trends in the market.

No other application is so rich in content and full of so many invaluable contents that is found in this application, a far better and engaging platform than the already available social networking sites. Since the day I have been using this app there is no looking elsewhere as everything is available here. From contents to tricks to illustrations, vector images, videos, tricks, info graphics....the list is endless. Just WOW!! I use it everyday and it is easily accessible. Only thing I dislike is not about the app but about the way it has not been advertised or brought into notice to the people. It must be made available to more and more people. What I like best about Pinterest is that it brings a lot of people to my website. It's super easy to use and connect with other users. I can put my content out there without any trouble. The schedule pin feature is a big help because it makes my work easier. Also, it has really good tools to see how my account is doing and what's popular on Pinterest. What I don't like about Pinterest is that the iPad app can be buggy and sometimes gives me problems when I try to post. I talked to their support team a lot, but they never fixed it for me. Also, earlier this year, there was a glitch on their end that kept showing that I had problems with my tags when it wasn't true, and almost made me lose my verified merchant status. I love how integrative and customizable the website has gotten. They have implemented tools to help with an accurate search. I enjoy how it provides custom boads according to your searches.
