## About Ping Identity
Ping Identity is a type of identity management solution designed to help organizations implement Zero Trust security frameworks while enhancing user experiences across various platforms. With a focus on intelligent identity solutions, Ping Identity empowers enterprises to securely manage access to cloud, mobile, Software as a Service (SaaS), and on-premises applications, facilitating a seamless integration of identity management into their digital business strategies. The target audience for Ping Identity primarily includes large enterprises and organizations that require robust security measures and streamlined access management for their workforce, customers, and partners. This solution is particularly beneficial for businesses operating in hybrid environments, where applications and data are spread across multiple platforms and locations. By adopting Ping Identity, organizations can ensure that their security protocols are not only effective but also user-friendly, thereby improving overall productivity and satisfaction. Key features of the PingOne Cloud Platform include single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and adaptive authentication, which collectively enhance security while simplifying the user experience. The platform's SSO capability allows users to access multiple applications with a single set of credentials, reducing password fatigue and improving user compliance. MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring additional verification steps, which is crucial in today’s threat landscape. Adaptive authentication further strengthens security by assessing user behavior and context, enabling organizations to respond dynamically to potential risks. Ping Identity stands out in the identity management category through its commitment to open standards and strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Microsoft and Amazon. This approach not only enhances interoperability with existing systems but also ensures that organizations can leverage the latest technologies and innovations in identity management. By providing flexible solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each enterprise, Ping Identity accelerates digital transformation initiatives, enhances customer engagement, and fortifies security measures, making it a valuable asset for any organization looking to navigate the complexities of modern identity management.

## Ping Identity Reviews
 ### 1. Comprehensive, Stable Authentication Suite That’s Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naveen Kumar S. | Application Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Ping AM provides a comprehensive authentication suite that covers all the essential features while still being relatively easy to use. It supports industry-standard authentication protocols and modules, including OAuth, federation, SAML, and more. In production environments, the platform has proven to be highly stable. Ping AM also continues to evolve by adopting emerging technologies such as AI agent identity management, which reflects a clear commitment to staying ahead of industry trends.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Upgrades haven’t been very straightforward for us, especially when deploying the Ping suite on our own cluster using custom images. From what I’ve seen, PingOne (cloud identity) provides a much more seamless experience because upgrades are fully managed. By contrast, our on-prem deployments have caused some challenges during upgrades in the past. That said, the support team has been great at helping us work through those issues and get back on track.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ping AM, Ping DS, and Ping IDM together serve as our centralized identity and access management solution. Ping AM handles authentication and authorization across our applications, Ping DS provides a reliable and scalable directory service for storing identity data, and Ping IDM manages identity lifecycle operations such as provisioning and synchronization. Together, they help us enforce consistent security policies, support single sign-on (SSO) for a seamless user experience, and integrate with industry-standard protocols like OAuth and federation. By consolidating identity management into a single platform suite, it reduces complexity and ensures secure access control at scale

 ### 2. Scalable and Reliable Identity Management at Massive Scale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter B. | Manager - Access Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

I really appreciate Ping Identity for its scalability and ability to handle complex identity management processes. It's great with passwordless functionality and excels at protecting applications and APIs at a large scale. It integrates really well with other technologies, especially with the newer capabilities like DaVinci for orchestration and PingCentral, which is a new experience for me. I find its templates extremely valuable as they speed up the process by allowing app owners to manage or change functions easily. Its reliability and ability to solve unique use cases are also big pluses for me.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Sometimes the documentation could be more searchable and detailed. It's not that the documentation is bad, but there are times when there's missing information or it's not detailed enough, especially when looking for working examples. This can be challenging because everyone's unique environments don't necessarily align with out-of-the-box solutions.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Ping Identity for managing identity processes with PAM and IGA integration globally, solving complex user journeys due to segregated identity types at scale.

 ### 3. Unmatched Stability and Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

I find Ping Identity's system to be unbelievably stable and capable. It's impressively deployed in our own Kubernetes cluster along with cloud services, which really delivers an exceptional time to value. I appreciate the configurability from the software and the speed with the services. The risk-based access control and stability were key reasons for us to switch from Keycloak and OpenSAML. The initial setup was very easy, almost plug and play, although we needed to do a little work to make it function in our Kubernetes cluster.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

There is a limited amount of marketing and understanding regarding the solution stack in the market. Therefore integration partners will say 'we cannot do it' as their documentation does not mention it.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Ping Identity for risk-based authentication, seamlessly managing access and credentials, providing stability and comprehensive configurability, delivering exceptional time to value.

 ### 4. Hong Kong Jockey Club CIAM Implementation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark N. | Program Manager - Digital and Channels, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

The working relationship, once established, was very productive. The two organisations worked together to address specific issues related to Hong Kong e.g. Features of Asian handset types, performance issues required by HKJC on race days etc.

Integration with various digital channels was relatively straight forward.

UI / UX provided a much improved customer experience.

When needed support was given promptly and at the right time. Regular communication with the customer support team and Professional Services was invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Development team appears to be largely US based so this means communication needs to be carefully managed.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had clock skew issues that impacted device binding. These have since been resolved. I understand cloud coverage was based out of Singapore, Hong Kong has subsequently been added.

 ### 5. Secure Two-Factor Authentication That Works Flawlessly

It benefit me by proving secure 2FA service and faster access to my work portals

 ### 6. Seamless Authentication with Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikolaos P. | Senior Cybersecurity Identity Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

I like the convenience of the new PingOne console as it feels more modern and light to handle. PingID works as expected, and I don't have a single complaint about it. It has enhanced security through centralized control, and the user experience has been significantly improved. The initial setup was pretty easy because the directions were simple, and there was a big support team from Ping Identity behind the scenes.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Maybe Ping could start making things simpler like removing big groups of users from directory automatically

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ping Identity solves authentication and verification issues and connectivity problems with mobiles, while enhancing security through centralized control and improving user experience.

 ### 7. Forward-Thinking Identity Platform with Flexible Configuration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

It’s forward-thinking about existing services as well as the next things to consider on the identity journey. The configuration options let us set it up to match our requirements, which makes integration smoother.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

The UI experience can be a little confusing, but I understand parts of it is because the platform is constantly being upgraded with a view to maintaining customer services

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides a single IDP base with enough options and forward thinking for us to add/consume services. In particular our recent requirement for token minting of JWT tokens and the ease within which we were able to demonstrate this as a working solution.

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

One of the best things I like about PingID is the smooth authentication experience there is no need to manually enter codes

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Overall, the experience with Ping Identity is good and stable. One improvement area could be the mobile authentication flow sometimes when the push notification appears and I tap on it, the app does not open properly or respond immediately.

One of the most helpfull feature that I found about ping indentity is that it provides multiple soultion to the user for SaaS(Security as a Service), ping identities product like ping federate, ping access, ping directory and ping id are products that I worked on and found them very user friendly for administrator.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

one thing that I don't like about ping identity is that some of there sofware insterface is very complex like ping authorize and ping directory.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ping idenity provides secure solution for safe gaurding identities.

 ### 16. PingIdentity is one of the best MFA for protecting the Company Employee account

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

PingIdentity provide 2FA security from unauthorized access to the account even if the Password is compromised. Due to which the IT infra and valuavle sensitive data is always secure.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

PingIdentity App some times take time to show popup when new access is requested.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PingIdentity is used to provide the 2nd Factor of Authentication for new unknown login request. Even if password is compromised the unknown person can not access the data unless the pass code generated by PinIdentity is provided. This makes a fool proof system.

 ### 17. Struggle with Profesional Services

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

We have been unable to actually start using it at a large scale.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Very difficult to integrate with our complex environment. Ping has good features, but we also want to integrate with other products.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammad Zeyaur R. | Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

The best part about this MFA is that it works even there is no network.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Sometime the synchronisation seems an issue, doesn't work sometime

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it as MFA for all the Applications we are using. The way its authenticating is simple and very secure.

 ### 20. Solid MFA Solution, easy to integrate/use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan K. | Systems Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Ping Identity is super easy to use and configure; their support team has helped us with any issues we've had during setup and also provided excellent support during that process and afterward as well. We've implemented MFA on our windows 10 laptops which has helped us become NIST certified in the process.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

The interface for the windows login could be quicker on first sign on, implementing yubikeys with ping could be a more friendlier process as well as some of our employees are not used to setting up MFA on their devices and requires more support than expected.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've resolved our problem of not being NIST compliant and have also alleviated our password reset policy thanks to MFA and being able to authenticate from our phones/yubikeys has been helpful for ease of use as well.

 ### 21. Ping Identity Solutions must better than options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

The liked the way to configure any apps, manage them too and to maintain those.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

There is certain limitations of using this.
For OIDC connections, there is no extended properties feature is available to add custom attribute directly.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For OIDC connections, there is no extended properties feature is available to add custom attribute directly.
As part of solution, we had to make custom scope and there we added custom attribute to send as user info assertion.

 ### 22. An IAM solution targeted for end-users

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Ping Identity's flexible and API based approach. Every activity that happens on the console can be accessed through APIs. Plenty of documentation, Postman collections for the APIs. Great community support. Excellent support from Ping technical and management team. Always available to answer any questions and guide us through challenges. They make it easier to communicate and provide the right attention to problems.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Console User experience could be better. And the documentation could be improved in some places. It needs to be more thorough. Especially when providing examples or syntax, we've noticed a few mistakes that cost us time to figure out.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of end-user identity and access management for several of our enterprise applications. Ping Identity provides a myriad of options, from simple integration to complex custom integration. We had leveraged most of these features to integrate several of our applications to have a unified login experience.

 ### 23. Ping Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan J. | SSO/IAM Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Support for their products is amazing. Break/fix tickets get the utmost attention with their support team but even when I just needed some guidance their engineers have been more than willing to engage and give their expertise.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Cost is products is not cheap but for good reason I guess, their products do what they say they can do. So many vendors make promises and then don't deliver. Not the case with Ping, PingIdentity delivers!

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single Sign-On, alternate Identity Stores and MFA. Last month PingFederate saved us over 1.2 million logons, with the average logon taking 15 seconds or more, we are saving the business tons of precious time.

 ### 24. RockStar Customer Service and Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

I like the ease of implementation and the support that we get from the Engineering Team, and staff. It also makes a huge difference when the log files contain a wide variety of information.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

The one thing that they could improve on is after hours contact support when there is an outage. All in all its good, and I've been able to work through it.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

The number one thing I love is the support of the Engineering and Architecture team. You don't get this from any other vendor, especially after you are in production and the initial implementation phase is over.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Pingfederate for employee authentication. Its reusability, logs, apis as well as the certificate management out weigh any other application that I have worked with.

 ### 25. Reliable software that "just works"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony S. | Enterprise Engineer Senior / Vice President, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Ping utilizes open standards that help increase its interoperability with other applications. This use of open standards and overall stability makes it an excellent platform to base user authentication upon. The provided upgrade utility makes upgrades easy to perform. The professional services group from Ping have also been excellent and have been a true partner during implementation and other additional projects.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Upgrades of PingFederate can be a bit of a hassle since major upgrades need to be done at the same time, meaning that you can not run mixed mode servers in the same cluster to make zero downtime upgrades easier. There are ways to achieve this, but there are some hoops to jump through. Latest versions do allow for minor revisions to be upgraded with this zero downtime approach though so progress is being made.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

Ping Identity makes useful products that work as advertised. Their commitment to open standards make them suitable to solve most use cases that you may have.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ping Identity helps us solve use cases with OAuth and SAML as well as providing single sign on for a variety of applications we use. We have also solved MFA use cases with PingOne and PingID as well.

 ### 26. The best in breed product for identity Federation.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob S. | Principal Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Good support for standards and a well designed API. Very stable and performant. Good enterprise features including clustering/failover. Once configured properly, the software works very well.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

OAuth connection configurations can be confusing, the way in which attribute contracts are fulfilled can be a little difficult to understance. The documentation on the site often has dead internal links.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

Ensure that your use cases are well defined and leverage the experience of an identity consultant.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Identity Federation using SAML and OAuth

 ### 27. Way Simple SSO, Authentication and Integrations!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler A. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Compared to implementing a SAML integration to integrate with an IDP, Ping makes configuring authentication way simpler. Depending on what you're trying to accomplish you can have an application up and running using Ping in a matter of minutes.
The abstractions around applications and connections make integrating with a third party easy.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

The UI/UX leaves a little to be desired, navigating the process of configuring your application or accomplishing support tasks can be a little difficult. The documentation is decent, and support is always willing to help.

Notifications and events would be nice to have (cert's expiring, etc).

A more "logical" view on Connections and Applications would be incredibly useful when dealing with multiple applications with different connections.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrating with a partner application to gain access to various scopes from an integration. Easy to configure and setup, once you start to understand the process/screens and the way things are tied together you can easily configure new applications.
Utilizing this solution has saved us countless hours configuring our own solution.

 ### 28. PingOne For Customers works pretty well

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith V. | Level 4 Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

It's pretty easy to use once you understand how it works. I've never experienced down time while trying to access Ping Identity.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

I don't like how the communication at the API layer is based on changing the content type instead of using a standard RESTful API. To me this seems like some kind of security by obscurity. I don't think that it is, but this method was not intuitive for me to learn.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

Make sure that you get a good implementation partner when implementing PingOne

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using it as my SSO solution. It's helped us to integrate fairly easily with 3rd party vendors and to provide custom data for platforms such as WordPress to easily consume.

 ### 29. Ping experiences using PingFed and PingOne

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Ping provides clients with easy methods for MFA. We set up several clients with various methods of using MFA including app, email, and SMS. Clients like the options.
From an administrative view: PingFed, once configured, requires a little training on the deep selection of menus. System administration to add IDP or SP adapters using the partner library is so smooth.
PingOne administration takes very little effort in order to configure and is very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

The initial set up can be complex. We are utilizing 5 servers for redundancy and it took a little to figure out the environment with support.

Sometimes documentation can be difficult to find.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ping Identity allowed us to remove our on premise only solution for MFA and move to the cloud. PingOne authenticator app is a huge plus allowing clients easier methods to MFA. Most like the one touch option or using face ID.

 ### 30. PingFederate is an awesome SSO solution for our customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vamsi M. | Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

PingFederate is very easy to setup, configure and establish federation with other identity providers seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

None. We ran into couple of minor issues when implementing PingFederate disaster recovery solution, but the support team is very professional enough to step in and helped us along the way.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted our customers to authenticate against our Azure project without creating separate identities in our Active Directory. In addition to it, we want to configure a Single Sign On solution for our customers. It is such an easy to use software and as a newbie, it didn't take much time to understand how PingFed works.

 ### 31. PingID MFA solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

We are currently in the process of replacing our existing physical token vendor with a Multi-Factor authentication solution from Ping Identity. The ability to use PingID push MFA was a requirement with the recent cases of Smishing (SMS Phishing) being conducted by bad actors. Another benefit is that we no longer have to deal with distribution of physical token devices and expiring tokens.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

In some rare cases, the user receives a timeout message from the app and is unable to authenticate (possible due to bad cellular coverage), otherwise it as been a smooth rollout.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

Ping Identity has many setup documents including a hardening guide for MFA. It includes best practices when setting up the PingID application configuration.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We implemented a daily Heath attestation app utilizing PingID for authentication to a corporate workforce of over 18,000 employees.

 ### 32. Ping Identity Hybrid Deployment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher D. | Sr. Manager, System Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

I like that I could purchase the Workforce360 bundle and get all the products I needed without having to get add-on after add-on

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

PingFederate is extremely complex. It really needs a deep understanding to leverage all of its features and there is no "simple" mode.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We deployed MFA for our organization via PingID. We looked into Azure AD Premium and Okta as other potential vendors. Ping struck the right balance of cost and functionality without being locked into one vendors ecosystem.

 ### 33. Great way to secure your company identities

Integration is seamless, easy deployment on production

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Delay in security, like Ping Fed, have v2 version of reCaptcha & v3 is still in pipeline

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 36. Powerful Identity Security Platform That Is Trusted & Proven

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Simplicity and integration, you can have Ping ID up and running quickly and it integrates nicely into virtually all security eco-systems. I also like that it allows for customer facing identity solutions that secures and doesn't complicate their log-ins or experience. Everything with Ping is seamless and powerful.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

There is nothing bad to say about Ping, considering its competitors you get a lot more value and peace of mind knowing that your databases and network is secure. It's hard to say anything bad about Ping because it solves so many problems and simplifies the work for IT teams.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

Evaluate the space and make sure you get a demo or POC from Ping before settling with another vendor. I have no doubts you will find Ping to be the best in this space. Ping is very clean and powerful and allows you to secure your databases and network with ease.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ping makes it easy to solve identity problems by having a platform that solves all modern pain points. It is trusted by top industries and their team is always available to help with any questions along the way. I like the clean and easy to understand interface.

 ### 37. A tightly Integrated Product built from he ground-up

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

The products are lightweight, containerized, have an API First approach. This makes it very easy to customize or use out of the box depending upon your needs. Very technical support and can help resolve most queries.
The best thing was that the product never broke and could chug along as if it never even exists. Very low operational costs because the products sturdiness.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Would have loved to see more Ping Access features to be part of federate. Also lacked some capabilities to expand around FIDO(date info). Risk capabilities were also getting built so we could not fully utilize all features.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

Very powerful product. Evolving with a solid community behind it. The Ping team is always in front of proposing new specs to improve authentication. So customers of Ping do not have to worry about being left behind or feel that they have not got all the features available to them compared to competitive product.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most common identity problems around OAuth and Federation and having a single solution portfolio.

 ### 38. Ping Identity Products

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

We were using almost nine products from PingIdentity and it's easy to use and scale on the demand. The provided upgrade utility makes upgrades easy to perform. The professional services group from Ping has also been excellent and has been a true partner during implementation and other additional projects. The ability to use PingID push MFA was a requirement with the recent cases of Smishing (SMS Phishing) being conducted by bad actors

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

So far I didn't get any issues with PingIdentity products.I don't like how the communication at the API layer is based on changing the content type instead of using a standard RESTful API. To me, this seems like some kind of security by obscurity. We ran into a couple of minor issues when implementing the PingFederate disaster recovery solution, but the support team is very professional enough to step in and helped us along the way.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

We were using almost nine products from PingIdentity and it's easy to use and scale on the demand.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MFA
Single Sign-On
Access management
Customer Identity and Access Management
'We set up several clients with various methods of using MFA including app, email, and SMS. Clients like the options.

From an administrative view: PingFed, once configured, requires a little training on the deep selection of menus. System administration to add IDP or SP adapters using the partner library is so smooth.

PingOne administration takes very little effort in order to configure and is very intuitive

 ### 39. Former Customer, Employee, Partner, Now Customer(again)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathaniel G. | Security Solutions Architect - IAM and PAM, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Simplicity to get the platform up and running. The level of creativity you leverage to achieve complex goals.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Support site, and documentation. If you find a useful article\document print it as a PDF. Links and content change at break neck pace.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

Generally a great product to work with. Only changes I faced are with documentation\support portal.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making IAM simple for applications, solving complicated modern day IAM needs.

 ### 40. Go to Security Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie M. | Business Development Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

I love the mobile app. I used to train employees on using the desktop application to copy and paste their new code for access. I recently started using the app on my phone and watch. Now, with a swipe, I'm authenticated and ready for work. Simple solutions.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

No complaints so far about the PingID solution. Everything that I have used so far has worked brilliantly.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

Start with using the mobile app.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have several layers of security in our organization, require every VPN login to have strong levels of authentication. PingID offers that second factor that we need.

 ### 41. A Great Tool for SSO

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark K. | Data Security Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

The interface is easy to use and works well without many hiccups. I was handed PingFederate by my company without any experience using federation servers or SSO previously and have grown to like the product more and more as I use it. The documentation has been incredibly useful in helping me get adjusted to a new product.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

The one thing that does bother me using PingFederate is the confusing use of "Done", "Save", and "Next" when you are setting up a configuration. It's not always clear which button you should click for each situation, and I have lost some work by clicking "Save" when I should have clicked "Done".

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now PingFederate is our solution for SSO in the organization. This has several benefits such as improving user experience when logging in, streamlining the authentication process, and making it more secure.

 ### 42. One of the BEST SSO\MFA

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy B. | Director of Information Technology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Security with SSO and MFA - Implementing safe and secure ways that allowed our users easy access to our data and applications and not have to remember multiple usernames/passwords.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

When we first implement this, it was NOT a true SaaS solution, we had to host the server in our AWS.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

Great SSO and MFA products

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having multiple usernames/passwords to maintain

 ### 43. Positive Ping Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Ping is easy to use. The interface is is simple and straightforward especially for new users who are getting accustomed to using it.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

The only thing I didn't like was when I needed my phone to swipe for ping access when using my laptop to access my email without the virtual desktop. But this was before I had virtual desktop pre-covid.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

To get it on all devices - it helps with access so you don't only need to rely on your phone to swipe in.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My problems were already solved using ping identity in the past. Benefits are security which are critical for healthcare workers.

 ### 44. Fast, stable SSO and MFA solutions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

I like ease of insulation, deployment and management of all ping products. Software comes a single package and deployment/upgrade is lighting fast with very easy rollback

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Ping Identity focuses on the cloud now with two core components PingOne nad PingID only in the cloud, unfortunately not all companies are happy with storing data (customer or employee) in cloud, especially if they have to follow specific regulations with data handling (f.e border restrictions).

Product documentation on PingIdenttiy website is not the best, it's hard to navigate in the documents, and sometimes we are having difficulties when we are trying to search for some details.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

That's the great product, i worked on many SSO solutions (competitors like Broadcom Layer7, OKTA, Auth0) and PingIdentity solutions look to me a bit in front. Support provided with the company works well, they are always keen and happy to help with all problems, not only solve but helping with understanding it and mitigate in future. And solution is stable, since deployment we didn't had any technical outage, all is working out of the box, with some tuning and configurations but no negative impact over business.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ping Identity solved the biggest problem which is many passwords to many sites, now customers can have one single and secure password to access basic applications with possibility to use MFA for more sensitive data/resources.
Pass-wordless SSO is the next step which we will be considering and testing, simple QR code on the screen with PingID app looks amazing

 ### 45. Not the same company it used to be, very unfortunate.

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith L. | Active Directory System Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Products are still decent but does not seem to be much innovation anymore and you receive zero support from your account team and when opneing a support case you basically get no answer and the they auto close your tickets without any resolution.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Account teams is awful, professional services team was not great and support is awful, not even worth opening a ticket with them as you basically get no response as it is assigned to employees not in your time zone.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

I would highly recommend Ping applications to others who are considering them.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating safe and secure ways of accessing SaaS applications and make it easy for your users to not have to have multiple usernames/passwords.

 ### 46. Ping Identity - Great Products For The Enterprise

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian S. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

At my company, we are heavy users of PingFederate. We have thousands of federated applications with different needs. PingFederate has answers for just about all of them.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

You can tell that PingFederate was written in Java and it shows. There are many administrative tasks required to keep it running that other products don't require.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved too many problems to list here with PingIdentity products. We use SSO with thousands of applications, PingID for MFA, PingDirectory for identity storage and password authentication. We use the provided API's to extend functionality to meet unique business needs.

 ### 47. PingID -MFA

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sunny S. | Cloud Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

We are using the PingID since 2-3 years approx, we are using this as MFA software It is very user friendly and effective, Customer support is very quick and effective,

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

If you misconfigured the PingID my mistake then its very difficult to get into the server , almost impossible.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PingID team should inform to their customer early if they want to upgrade their tool, we got an update 3 days before of expiration

 ### 48. Ping Identity is the Best Product Team I have ever worked with

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Very Professional Team to work with and Highly Knowledgeable about the IAM, OIDC, OAuth2.0. From a product perspective, Ping Identity is a one stop shop for all things related to IAM. Very good Production Documentation and Support.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Capability Customization is not very flexible. Out of the box features implementation is not easy. Additional features on Admin Console like ability to manage / monitor the Engines will be very useful.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are leveraging Ping Identity to consolidate our IAM function and implement OAuth2.0 for all our Authentication and Authorizations Work flows for Portal and B2B Applications. Also we are planning to leverage Ping Identity to implement MFA for our Applications.

 ### 49. A great tool and a great team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Ping Identity?**

Great technology and a team of people happy to collaborate with customers in search of solutions.

**What do you dislike about Ping Identity?**

Would like to have a hard token for MFA that costs less than Yubikey.

**Recommendations to others considering Ping Identity:**

Ping is a great partner and an excellent tool suite for addressing identity needs.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MFA and SSO. Ping allows us to address both of these needs at large scale.

 ### 50. Identity secured!

Seamless integration with other IAM and SSO products.

**What problems is Ping Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

team collaboration and ease of user managment
