Limitations

I find PIMWORKS very opinionated which makes it a little difficult for larger businesses. For example, this is compulsory to have an attribute group for each attribute. What about the cases where attribute placement is dependent on other factors such as category

Features

It has all the basic features covered that are required by small businesses, however, there is a decent scope of improvement in new features. For example, maintaining the categories from taxonomy is a little difficult, both of them could have been linked up together to make the category management experience better.
