"Easy-to-use tool with great automation capabilities"
5/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

Pigment provided many great features that helped us solve our day-to-day reporting and controlling tasks. First, we use the integration with other tools as a source for our reporting numbers. With Pigment, we could automate periodic reports updates, which freed us from doing manual updates while populating 100% matching values. Another great feature is the access rights, which is very customizable and provides capabilities that regular Google Sheets lack. In addition, the creation of different views of the same report helps us meet varying requests from our stakeholders. It is worth mentioning how Pigment support works. They quickly address our questions and try to resolve technical issues as soon as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

Pigment is a very young tool, and they still have many features to add to their product roadmap. Also, it would be nice to have more formatting options available. However, we can always submit an Idea on their community portal, which they regularly review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful tool to analyse, report and centralize data"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

I love the user experience of the product. Very clear and a lot of options to present data. You can also automate imports/exports from looker or other BI tools to Gsheet/Excel.

Pigment also allows the management of extensive database without lagging unlike GSheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

Pigment may be challenging to get used to at first; becoming fully autonomous on the tool takes time.

Lots of options that can lose the beginner user.

The graphics could be much more advanced. For the moment, I feel limited in this aspect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Next-gen Solution"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

Pigment is the next-gen solution of EPM tools. Having worked with many other solutions in this space (BPC, Anaplan, Adaptive) it is clear this is the direction that the industry is going. The spatial framework of the tool is a game-changer that enables users not to be burdened by tedious structure management, allowing users to build on the fly. While the initial use case for the product is for finance and revenue planning, the tool's flexibility makes the use cases seemingly limitless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

There is an upfront investment that needs to be made with Pigment. This is a new tool, so it's unlikely that anyone on your team or in the industry has much experience directly with Pigment. You'll need your team to invest time to get up to speed but luckily the learning curve is not too steep, especially if you have active experience with other EPM tools (e.g. Anaplan). "I dreamed about this kind of application and my dream came true"
5/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

It's flexibility in aggregating, allocating and various input types basically you can do anything with data, also operational but also gather data and bring relevant information at the top level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

I would like to have the possibility to have a smart deployment on-prem/private cloud system, like personal instances but still having continuous connection CI/CD to the main development repository for automatic updates, for keeping data "inside" an organization. (dockers, kubernetes etc.)

It's a feature required by many global corporations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Implementation team and product"
4/5
What do you like best about Pigment?

The integrations to our other systems were easy to set up and schedule. The expert implementation team was very responsive and kept us on track with our timeline. The ability to drill into the formulas and see the metrics used is a great feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pigment?

Out-of-the-box apps and reporting were limited. Would like more references for best practices in the beginning when trying to learn how to structure our blocks and formulas, as there is a steep learning curve. Application access rights were complicated to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
