What do you like best about Picus Security?

"What I like best about Picus Security is its proactive approach to security validation. Rather than just identifying vulnerabilities, Picus empowers organizations to continuously test, measure, and improve their defenses with real-world attack simulations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Picus Security?

While I have a lot of respect for Picus Security’s innovation in continuous security validation and breach simulation, one area I believe could improve is broader market awareness. Despite having a strong platform, it seems like the brand isn’t as widely recognized outside of specialized cybersecurity circles. Increasing outreach or simplifying messaging for non-technical stakeholders might help broaden its impact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great BAS platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Picus Security?

The way you can validate your security controls.

Its ease of use and ease of implementation, because in some cases it can be implemented agentless.

So many vendor integrations, which is great.

Also really good customer supports, easy to reach out to them.

You can use it as much as you can (depending on your license), schedule tasks and reports, which is a great functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Picus Security?

You have to apply some exclusions to your security controls Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Gina Miller of Picus Security

Thank you for the detailed and thoughtful review! We’re thrilled that Picus’s ease of use, rich vendor integrations, and strong support are delivering value and that you're using it to validate a wide range of controls across your stack.

You’re right that exclusions are sometimes needed to ensure safe simulation and avoid noise. We're continuously refining our recommendations to make this process even smoother.

It’s great to hear Picus is helping you prove and improve the effectiveness of your defenses. We appreciate your feedback!

"A Pioneer in Realistic Threat Simulation, Continuously Improving"
5/5
What do you like best about Picus Security?

he continuously updated MITRE ATT&CK–based threat library and realistic attack simulations stand out the most. They give us clear, actionable insights into security gaps and provide automated remediation guidance that we can implement immediately. The seamless integrations with our existing security tools mean we get faster, more accurate validation without disrupting daily operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Picus Security?

While the platform is highly effective, some of the advanced reporting options could be more customizable to match specific organizational requirements. Additionally, expanding the flexibility of test customization—such as fine-tuning attack parameters—would make the simulations even more aligned with real-world scenarios. These are not critical gaps, and it’s encouraging that the product team appears to be actively addressing them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Picus BAS Review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Picus Security?

The features I like the most from Picus is their BAS solution which is comprehensive with tons on threats templated into simulations. The setup is very easy whether it's integration or simulation part. The response from Picus support is also excellent with a very thorough explanation and guide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Picus Security?

Their integration only covers the famous solution such as Splunk, Elastic, Crowdstrike etc. It does not cover all solutions which will be a hassle if we want to validate the simulation without integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
