This discrepancy was largely related to the PowerPoint side, with launching PowerPoint template slides on PC requiring a few more clicks than on Mac. It's easy to use to and we have no worry about having new users go in there to find what they're looking for. The Dropbox integration makes it easy to implement for the team and ever since we launched it, our property managers have been utilizing it to collect assets that pertain to their community. We've also come to appreciate how open and willing to help the customer success team is, any time we have a question it is answered swiftly and clearly. In times where we need even more information, a call is set up and we have our answer quickly. **What do you dislike about Pickit?** As Pickit grows and gets more features it'll be even easier to use and more teams will be able to utilize it. Right now, the inability to place collections within collections makes things a bit difficult for us and is something that we're waiting for before fully diving into Pickit. **What problems is Pickit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pickit is helping us to easily organize our files and declutter the mess that we've made in Dropbox. We absolutely love the product, and it has both increased our efficiency and productivity. It's easy to use and the training provided allowed us to onboard our teams quickly. The real star of the show however is their customer service. Caitlynn, the Cuseomer Sucess Director was brought on early during the sales process to walk us through the product, and she quicly sold us on how the product could work for us. She was amazing during the onboarding and training process and always follows up, assists us with questions and continues to share our feedback with the larger team. I’ve been working with a multitude of vendors during my 28-year marketing career, and Caitlynn is by far, at the top of the list. **What do you dislike about Pickit?** We didn't love that you could only upload a certain amount of photos at a time, but that has been fixed. I'm sure the AI needs to learn a little more but the self-tagging can be a little odd at times. **What problems is Pickit solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were storing our photos on BOX, they were so hard to search, and to go through photos one at a time, was so time consuming. Sharing photos with our designer or across multiple locations (shopping malls) was hard and we spent way too much time searchng for photos! Everything, for the most part, makes sense and is easy to navigate. I also love the auto-tagging feature. This feature saves us so much time when tagging photos. We tag things it can't know. Pickit Drive solves this issue but if you are not paying for that feature, it can be difficult to navigate. Also there are certain permissions that are exclusive to the account owner that should be able to be deligated to administrators (like adding users). **What problems is Pickit solving and how is that benefiting you?** It keeps our photos in the cloud and not on a local server. Whenever our team has an issue with integrations or SSO login, the Pickit team is quick to address the issue and get back to us. There's also a lot of flexibility for adding / removing various app features as needed. Once into the tool, the user interface is great – and it's so, SO much better than trying to sort through images on Sharepoint. **What do you dislike about Pickit?** We have experienced some issues with Microsoft 365 integrations and SSO, which I think would be a much bigger concern if we had Pickit rolled out company-wide. For our small team (less than 5 people), however, it's just a quick matter of reaching out to someone at Pickit and getting the issue fixed. **What problems is Pickit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pickit helps us solve the issues we've experienced in searching and sharing our assets directly through Microsoft OneDrive/Sharepoint. We work with so many visual assets, and OneDrive/Sharepoint just don't make it easy to browse these assets or search them using the right criteria. Its been especially helpful for browsing our large library of stock photos, since the search functionality is intelligent enough to find, for example, an image of someone "working from the couch while drinking coffee and hanging out with their dog". ### 15. From organizing assets for creative teams and sharing with external vendors. Boards are a fantastic addition so that other internal departments can access and find assets without trawling through endless assets. We've very quickly implemented this into our workflow and have worked with Pickit's support teams on feature requests and a few queries on certain features so that we can maximize how we use it. In which they have been extremely swift and supportive. I've had experience with much 'larger' DAMs across several agencies and this is by far my favorite to work with. **What do you dislike about Pickit?** As a modern lightweight DAM there's not much to dislike about Pickit, A drag-and-drop feature to upload files would be a lovely addition but we have given this feedback to Pickit and they have taken board the request - you can't ask for better collaboration when they're happy to take feature requests. **What problems is Pickit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having a single source of truth for our assets and easily updating them when the need arises, when you work with multiple departments and external vendors it's important that everyone knows what they're using is correct signed-off assets and not an older or WIP version. Having microsoft 365 integrations is a huge bonus especially when your organization uses it heavily for work. When in one view (Pick-it Drive), there isn't the ability to adjust the size of thumbnails for the assets and you have to click into it to see a larger preview of the asset file. There have been issues with video playback in the front end of websites where Pick-it videos are embedded. **What problems is Pickit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having a unified repository of media assets that anyone can easily search and pull what they need from. Workflows that help ensure everything uploaded into the DAM has been reviewed and ready for use. I also like the basic capability of having all media stored in a single repository and the tagging and image recognition capabilities. **What do you dislike about Pickit?** While the demo and sales pitch made Pickit seem intuitive with robust capabilities, our experience is that after nearly 6 months using it: 1) it's not intuitive to navigate and find functionality needed, 2) it's slow to upload media (compared to Google Docs or Dropbox), 3) it's confusing when it comes to users and contributors and what they can access or not access or how to get them access, 4) I'm still confused as to when or why to use Pickit Drive vs. Collection in Media when sharing content, so my filing system reflects this, 5) after 6 months, I shouldn't still be confused. I think the most painful aspect is when Caitlynn does an AMAZING job explaining how to use features and functionality, and I think I've got it, it gets lost on me shortly after, which is why it feels clunky and unintuitive to use. I've admittedly went back on to Google Docs and Dropbox many occassions to share files (internally and externally) because of the faster drag and drop of media capability Google and Dropbox have. That's probably my biggest dislike next to the platform being unintuitive; drag and drop is a must in our modern, fast-paced world. Instead, I spend too much time creating temporary network files to then upload to Pickit and vice versa. Equally important, I want unlimited contributors and not have them count as a license. I went into this platform thinking that only Admin people would be counted against a license. When I use Google, I can simply share a link and infor that link to restrict or give open access vs. the clunky way it's done in Pickit. I don't think my team uses it as often because of how clunky it is to use: navigating, slow uploads, sharing, creating organized files. There's many other issues we're having but this is what I can think of right now. **What problems is Pickit solving and how is that benefiting you?** All media is in one place, or will be when we get all of it uploaded and organized. They have always very responsive and grateful for feedback. For example, being able to delete multiple photos from a collection in one go. Most of these suggestions would make the process of using PickIt more seamless, however none of them are critical. **What problems is Pickit solving and how is that benefiting you?** PickIT is solving the issue internally of how everyone who is working remotely can access our vast database of images. Having the Pickit extension open while creating presentations gives all of our employees the ability to utilize approved imagery and graphics without the need to navigate to another drive or submit creative requests. The PicKit customer support team is a super easy group to work with! **What do you dislike about Pickit?** It is a tad buggy, like many microsoft based programs. Whenever there are updates, we notice a few things breaking. We also really wish there were a specific phrase feature for single words or phrases, because we have ran into the problem where smaller words will show up in larger words, and when we search we will see unrealted things. (For example, the word "car" is in the word "healthCARe" so when folks search for 'car' they get a bunch of photos of doctors.) I also wish there were better AI tagging capabilities for calling out specific things in photos and adding those tags to the metadata. AI tagging exists, but we don't find it super helpful yet. **What problems is Pickit solving and how is that benefiting you?** For about a decade, my graphics department has been piling up stock photos and vector art in a very convuluted system of file folders on our network drive. This grew to be over 50,000 assets and counting. As you can imagine, searching for stock media on this system was VERY frustrating, time consuming and would often crash your computer. Now that we have all of our assets up on PicKit, it is saving us as a team a ton of time! We have also now rolled out PicKit to other departments who don't necessacarily do graphics, but sometimes need to swap out photos or icons in layouts when they are in a pinch--this is amazing for them as well because they don't have to ask graphics for help as much. We also really love the slides feature, that has gotten way bigger than we thought and we are continuing to grow it every day! In marketing research, we use a lot of very complex charts and layouts in powerpoint--this makes the design process in powerpoint much easier and quicker! Being able to tag a chart, search it and plop it into your report is a much quicker process than having a library of PPT files that we dig through for charts and layouts that we want to recycle. ### 37. We've got a team of >30 working on various projects; being able to tag, write image descriptions, and attach other metadata to our images has made it much easier for us to find relevant media when we need it. Oh, and the PPT plugin is sweet! **What do you dislike about Pickit?** We've had some challenges getting the image licensing/photo release features set up in a user-friendly fashion. Currently, the user who is downloading an image isn't able to see whether or not an image with a person in it has a photo release already. In that case, people could be using images we don't have permission to publically post yet. **What problems is Pickit solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pickit has allowed our company to store, share, and search images in a quick, user-friendly platform. It would also be good for users (not admins) to be able to scroll through all images, not just those in collections. **What problems is Pickit solving and how is that benefiting you?** PickIt has enabled people throughout the organisation to find and use images so quickly compared to when they were in non-searchable folders on our server.
