One area where Phrase could improve is in the translation memory management workflow. Currently, to update the translation memory with completed translations, I need to download the finished files and then manually upload them back into the system. It would be much more efficient if there were a direct option to automatically populate the translation memory with completed segments without requiring this download-upload process. This would streamline the workflow further and ensure that translation memories are always up-to-date with the latest approved translations, making future projects even more efficient. Phrase’s customer service is exceptional. In my entire career as a localization manager, I’ve never encountered a TMS with such a dedicated and supportive team. I’ve been trying to think of something critical to say, but honestly—everything is great! Of course, there are occasional bugs that take longer to resolve, but that’s to be expected, as issues are prioritized based on impact. I mostly use web version of Phrase TMS. The best thing is UI, it is easier to use comparing to many other CATs.

Phrase is still one of the most user-friendly localization platforms I’ve had the chance to work with from a translator’s perspective. It’s easy to learn compared to other tools, very stable, and rarely experiences bugs. I now use it regularly for post-editing and truly consider it the best online platform for collaborative work. The workflow is intuitive, which makes teamwork seamless, and I also appreciate the LQA feature — it's robust and well-structured, providing all the necessary tools for thorough quality assessment. My only concern at the moment is the fact that when I use it in Edge, I experience quite a few bugs, and I often have to reload the project. When I switch to Chrome, I no longer face those issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is quite intuitive to use this software. Most of the localization platforms look similar but there are some tools that I find it inconvenient to use. First and foremost, the platform is very userfriendly and easy to navigate for both project managers and linguists. It comes with all the necesarry features a professional translator needs in order to perform their work, including TM's, TB's, concordance search, QA, comments, find and replace functionality and much more. It also offers the oportunity to see translations of the same segments that you're working on in more languages, which I find quite usefull to ensure ToV consistency when working on projects with other Nordic languages. Sometimes it seems that not all QA issues are captured when running the QA check. This eventually means it's necessary to run it multiple times until all issues has been registered (and solved), before the project can be set to "complete". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
