One of the best parts of PhotoShelter for Brands is its many features, including integration with Adobe products (such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop). Additional integration features with other platforms include Google Drive, which is an excellent option to have. Where PhotoShelter for Brands excels is the friendly interface and ease of use. When using the Adobe Plug-in feature, it's relatively slow. Not ideal when working on multiple projects and tight deadlines. Google Drive is an excellent integration feature, but you have to pay extra for this, even if you have paid account. You would think for a paid version that all integration with the platform offerings, this would be included at no extra charge. The one major setback is that PhotoShelter for brands doesn't offer a desktop or mobile app. It would be nice if this were an offering. Instead, you have to use their online platform, which creates additional steps when uploading and downloading your content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The amount of space offered is sufficient and the upload speeds aren't throttled at all. People seem to get their photos in an efficient manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price is pretty high for a small company. There is no real solution for small businesses needing a good DAM software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to protect our visual assets behind a secure login. This is an improvement from formally using google drive to manage the sharing of our photos and logos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It takes a lot of upfront work to upload and organize your files. It is manageable, but you need to set aside enough time to make your database of images searchable and robust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the branded portal for users to access our approved assets. It's also easy for users to upload content too while remaining secure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it's hard for less than savvy users to access if they have to create a login but mostly it's easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the keywording, bulk actions and search features. Quick access to our organization's assets is a major time saver. It also saves web server space by having appropriately sized files for all our users! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would love some simple custom sizing and or cropping tools when downloading (like custom size + custom ratio). Many of our institution's users download for web use, and they often lack the editing ability to get a file in the correct size. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's customizable and full-featured but also user-friendly so that almost anyone can interact with the program with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing! Photoshelter for Brands meets all our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ability to download whole folders of photos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I want to be able to sync the folders to my computer and access through my folder system, like google drive or dropbox, or maybe through lightroom folders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's nice being able to share photos across different units, and to share certain items with the general public while keeping others private. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a bit pricey, but overall it's worth it for a great product Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Photo shelter for brands allows us to compile assets from well over 100 different content creators across multiple business organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't an option for an enterprise-level administrator at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can have all of my brand's photos and videos in one place. No more will I have to go around the office and seeing which stakeholders have which files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's hard to find an issue with Photoshelter, and I'm honestly having a hard time thinking of one. If only I could get everyone on board with using the platform, instead of 85% of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
