no AI function but I know that this is the price for a one-time fee for using the program Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are lots of premium features you're getting for free. For example, if you've cropped an image in a certain way, when you load a new image and apply crop, the same crop dimensions and position will apply. It's smart! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The background remover feature can be improved. It's not smart and doesn't crop backgrounds properly or easily. You have to do a lot of manual clicking to choose areas to be removed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy it is to use PhotoScape X. I am inexperienced at photo editing and usually only need to do very basic edits, and I am able to do so easily. It's great to have all of these tools in one place, for free! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a background removal tool. Other than that, I am always able to find what I need for the minimal editing work that I have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Photoscape X for photo editing and correcting. As an amateur photographer with limited funds, Photoscape X had all the tools I wanted and needed at a very affordable price. In the. years since I've used Photoscape X, they've added a significant number of tools and options. I also like that I can link to different folders and cloud storage options. It took a little getting used to since the software is so extensive. Sometimes it is difficult to find the exact tool you want b/c of all the options, but their online help is useful in learning the different tools and how best to use them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use. Easily clone away unwanted parts. Ability to combine images and create gifs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would like to see the ability to overlay images, especially transparent gifs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've used this app for years and I've found it to be relatively easy to use for basic capturing and editing of images; particularly screen/region captures. I'll grab the image. Sharpen it a bit, possibly some to other optimizations or effects, maybe a border or roundings, resize as needed and save. Easy and free! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It may just be me, but it's not obvious how to lay out multiple images into what becomes a new image. As a result, I tend to capture/optimize images here and then layout in PPT before capturing in Photoscape what will be the new image (made up of other elements) that I'm after. Works great for me but I'm sure I'm missing some ideas that could work as well or better all within Photoscape. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Super user-friendly for beginners with a lot of editing tools in the free edition. You can paste from the clipboard to open a new file instead of having to save the file first and then open it. The old photo filters, the movie filters, the masking options, the borders and frames, and the number of pattern choices to use as backgrounds when adding frames and borders. There isn't a teeth whitener or tanning editing tool. The blending tool seems a bit light, the clone stamp is only available in the pro version. The ability to work with transparent photos and editing them could be easier and have more options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are numerous things for which Photoscape is my go-to editing software for any quick tweaks to the image. Unlike other editing software, PhotoScape provides a minimal set of tools required to adjust the image ranging from brightness, contrast, or sharpness. The auto adjustment tools of level and contrast offer quite a decent finish to the picture. Another good feature is a 6 set of filters with three levels (low, middle, and high) and different one-click edits such as crystallizing, newsprint, pictorialization, and many more. As an editor for quick edits, you should check out this software. Additionally, you can add different objects such as text and images and crop with different shapes and sizes. There aren't many downfalls of PhotoScape. But as photo-editing software, PhotoScape may choose to bring out the features to select and crop manually by the borders (like lasso select) soon. The current software doesn't allow that, and due to this, I sometimes switch to GIMP or Photoshop, where I need to select a specific portion of an image. Since most of the features are on auto level, it is a problem to fine-tune or adjust the image to our choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software is easy to use, you can do all sorts of photo editing. There are a lot of useful features and color editing is very efficient on this software. Easy to import files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some important features are missing like lasso. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
