There are so many upsides to using Photo Mechanic. It is the fastest way to tag and add metadata to images in batch form. The saved templates and variables allow you to quickly save any screen for fast loading. You can also load in controlled vocabulary or create your own lists for Keywords.

It is powerful in quickly uploading photos via FTP or to your cloud-based storage. It displays visually on the thumbnail it's status.

Photo Mechanic Plus allows you to quickly create a resource that searches through all the metadata. It is quick to create, fast to search and it searches through all your metadata. Some search engines only search caption, title and keywords.

It stacks RAW and JPG images together and is easily unstacked and stacked.

There are lot of options for tagging images, the industry standard caption/description metadata input called IPTC helps keyword images and batches that process in seconds. That's the bulk of what it does, but it does it to perfection.
