Phocas provides great insight about our business. Once the databases are set up the possibilities of reviewing different parts of the business is endless. We use Phocas in collaboration with our ERP system and most of the time, the synchronization between the two softwares are working fine. Should we come across with issues, the customer success team gets with us and react to our query within a short period of time, and provide us with alternatives, should we not be able to get the results how we originally wanted. It is great to use on a daily basis, and to review certain time periods, so that we can forecast more accurately for the upcoming months. As all softwares, it takes a while to master all the modules of Phocas, so some might find it cumbersome to navigate around the databases, however it is not necessary for everyone to go into the databases, instead dashboards can be used. Some things might take a while to be implemented in the system, however, if you don't need certain properties or measures to be used more flexibly, you can custom make measures, calculations and properties that can be then used easily.

The one thing that might be better, is some more in-depth training videos for the custom mode, as some people might find it harder to use that mode in the databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a rapidly expanding enterprise with multiple locations, we encounter a scenario during the budgeting process where a location is anticipated to proceed, yet it is not yet prepared to establish ledgers in the financial system. A potential solution could involve the ability to create a dummy company and consolidate all new locations within it, allowing Phocas to seamlessly integrate and link this information to the respective budgets.
