**What do you like best about PerformYard Performance Management?**

PerformYard has been exceptional since day 1. The platform is user friendly. I love its simplicity. The major bonus, that I did not originally expect, is having someone who has been assigned to us to walk us through the entire process. Liz has trained us throughout the platform and held our hand every step of the way. She is super responsive and doesn't have a problem explaining things until we get it. Other platforms we have used have charged us for training and been unresponsive. PerformYard has exceptional customer service.

I haven't been in it long enough to not like a feature yet. We are beginning our first review cycle now.

It is helping us keep a record of both the good areas and the areas that need improvement.

It is very helpful that not only can managers set goals for their employees but employees can also set professional/personal goals and track them as well. This creates a unique and specific experience for each user.

It would be helpful if there were goal  templates that could be easily modified to personalize but provide consistancy in verbiage and uniformity in presentation.

It is great that you can upload documentation that supports your goal setting and acheivements/milstones throughout the year. It is also nice to have a dashboard to gauge progress. It is also very helpful to have a clear view of where the document is in the approval hierarchy.

PerformYard program is outstanding. Intuitive and well designed. Customer support is phenomenal. Sam Parker was such a joy to work with. She's patient, cordial and completely knowledgeable of all facets of the program and process. Sam assured that the transition from the previous program we were using was painless (as least as much as possible :).

**What do you dislike about PerformYard Performance Management?**

Nothing specific comes to mind. PerformYard was reccomended specifically on it's feature set. Maybe a smaller contractual "User" level would be nice. The number of users we contracted (and paid for) was beyond our needs. Not a big deal though.

It was necessary that we transition to a new appraisal system. PerformYard met all the requirements our organization needed.

It is a great tool to use when you are wanting to share goals and progress with management, but may not always have time to have a 1x1 meeting. It is also good to have reviews on your performance for the same reason, not always having time for a meeting while still knowing where you stand.

The online tracking of all the project goals & activities is one of the best things about this tool. And the upside is that all the actions & progresses can be recorded for long term on the portal, which we can review at any point of time.

The Public type of goals can be useful at times for the common / open activites throughout the organization but this feature can sometimes be considered as a downside by some employees or for some projects.

The support is fantastic - our rep, Olivia, understands what aspects are important to us and helps me set everything up as needed.

**What do you dislike about PerformYard Performance Management?**

While the system is comprehensive, actually applying it is a little clunky - I work in tech so I am proficient in online systems, but I find that creating workable A-Z systems can be challenging. That being said, this has been a needed platform for our company to integrate.

This gives us a platform with engaging UX that keeps all of our reviews, goals, "writeups" and PIPs in one place.

The ease and clarity of the program's interface is exceptional. Really appreciate the ability to mirror a previous entry with the current year's evaluation. Further, the ability of our HR and Operations folks to roll-out this program to new users, as well as veterans, is amazing.

I see no downsides at this point, as we have been utilizing PerformYard for a couple of years.

I believe we are solving the issue of not being able to adequately express differeing situations in a narrative fashion. PerformYard's ability to do this is inherently valuable, as it makes the program very user-friendly, allowing time for thoughts that lasting and meaningful.

That its working as intended, even though the user interface could be more intuitive.

Its a good idea, but when it comes to annual reviews, it takes a while to figure out how to build new goals, and last years goals stay on there long past 2023.

Not really, I use it because my employer makes everyone use it. Nobody looks at it when it comes to determining who gets a promotion. Its more a of a corporate formality.

It is sometimes hard to find the page to  log in. Also, it is not fast or quick. It seems like it takes a while to get a response from the performyard monitors.

Our previous review process was all paper documents, moving to PerformYard has made the system all digital and easy to access for both managers and team members. Our Customer Success Manager has been amazing, she has been available throughout the whole process and answers all of our questions.

**What do you dislike about PerformYard Performance Management?**

We are struggling a bit with the full functionality of the PerformYard system, moving from a manual system to having goals visable and transparent in the PY system, causes a bit of concern for our Manager's.  We will be looking at shifting our processes to help eliminate these concerns in the future.

**What problems is PerformYard Performance Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A platform for all preformance reviews and moving away from paper documentation.  PerformYard is providing an avenue to streamline our processes and establish efficiences.

The most helpful is to have a very good control about the records and advance. 
The implementation of the platform is easy and you can make the required changes, as well as keep track of the necessary comments on the progress. I made changes to my accounts constantly and never had a conflict with updated information or access to the platform.

In general there was nothing that I disliked about the platform, at least in the use I gave it.

In the company, the platform is used to rate our performance through objectives annually, and the platform is very useful both as a worker to review what objectives we are completing and for our supervisors to know what we are achieving during the year.

Fairly intuitive system to use.  Professional support was great and doesnt' leave you hanging and willing to do the training.

There should be a feedback button to provide ideas for suggestions to improve the system.  Some qwerks in the system arise.  Filters on reports, etc. could be improved.

Getting used to its functionality and executing some activities can take time.

PerformYard has helped our organization move from a cumbersome process that required using other software to manipulate the Word format documentation that we previously used. It has also helped ensure that performance management documents are stored in one central location that can be accessed quickly by those needing to know. Previously, we used drive software that often made it difficult to find documentation, or sometimes the documentation was inadvertently altered due to multiple accesses.

We wish we could customize the due dates of 360 peer feedback. We would also like to see more customizable reporting for current review cycles (include identifyers like business unit and department).

I had some trouble with CSV uploads for employee info.    Was not really an issue for us because of number of employees.  I could see this might be an issue for larger organization.
