The signup was easy and hassle-free. UI is clean and is easy to navigate, interact and use. The generated data from the prompts, data like ad copies, promotional video scripts, captions for social media, etc., are different from what other popular AI content generation tools, different in the sense that the LLM and all the background engineering they are doing is different from the traditional response we get from other tools. The content generated by Petter Content often lacks variety; it becomes repetitive if I try to refine it further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pepper Content helps curate AI-driven meaningful content for social media posts, and websites. It has helped me in my freelancing projects, The best part is that it does the work quickly in seconds. It's suitable for content writers and helps them ease their work. The content created is SEO friendly and helps your site or post with good rankings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface of the platform is easy to use, however they have changed the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was nice in the beginning. Now the product is of no use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Almost everything that was there in the beginning was modified. So nothing is there to like about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Purchased Peppertype.ai from Appsumo on a Lifetime deal. Main thing I wanted was something to help me curate articles for our new blog and youtube channel. They also promised we'd have "all future updates" very clearly in their marketing. I think I paid a few hundred for the tool, which is more than I usually would since it would take place of having to hire an employee or contractor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fast forward six months and I logged in to find helpful SEO figures. The instructions said to email support, so I've emailed them over and over again. I'm on try #15 I think in trying to reach someone. Their automated response sends 6 emails at the same time saying they received my inquiry. Then I'll get 3 of the same follow up emails saying they'll get back to me. This happens each time but I've not received a response at all. Feels like I wasted my money and it seems I'll need to do a chargeback on my credit card even though I'd prefer just to have them follow through on their promise. Nothing. Because they deleted my paid licence account even though I hardly use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is simply a scam.
They deleted my Lifetime Licence paid account without my permission, even though I hardly used it, and did not reply to any enquiries about it for nearly two weeks.
They also said they had reinstated the account, but this was a lie and has not resolved any issues.
The FB community is no longer operational and support should be considered almost non-functional.
To reiterate. Scam.
I recommend that you never purchase this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about Pepper Content is that they have created a complete tool that assists me with all parts of content creation including Blogging, social media captions, google ad copies & so much more. The AI generator is quite amazing. I like where the product is heading. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Like I mentioned in my headline, I wasn''t too impressed by the SEO capabilities of Peppercontent. When I used the SEO tool, it showed me keywords I already ranked on while I was hoping it will show me which keywords I should target! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I test lots of AI tools.
Guess the best way to demonstrate each one is to show you the actual output it generates.
Here's an example:
"Writing is a challenging task. With so many things to write, one can quickly get distracted and end up procrastinating. Peppertype.ai is an AI-based content writing tool that will help you boost your writing productivity and keep you on track with your writing goals. This tool will help you write a book, blog, article, whitepaper, landing page, etc., in no time. All you have to do is create a template, write a sample sentence, and Peppertype.ai will take care of the rest." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Monthly limitations for the lifetime deal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I tried a few other GPT-3 powered services, and I feel Peppertype has most consistently produced better short-term content. As I'm updating this review in 2023, I should note that my comparison is now outdated, but it was my belief at the time of the original review. I have not spent time continuing to try other AI writing services now that ChatGPT exists, and I only use that and Peppertype. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a lot of room for Peppertype to grow. It focuses on shorter-form content types, offers a decent variety in content types and generally works quite well. They classify many of their content types as long-form, though, which matters if you have a plan like I do, where you have a different amount of short-form vs. long-form words per month. However, their interface surprisingly does not indicate which content types are short-form or long-form, and your monthly usage stats don't even differentiate between short and long-form. Hopefully, they will address this, as I can't see why it would take much effort to fix.
It is disappointing they lack a long-form editor, which is the biggest weakness with Peppertype. The workflow is so lovely with some of their competition, and it can save a significant amount of time. It sounds like they are working on a long-form editor, and I'm confident they will do an excellent job with it from what I've seen from them so far. But I can only review the software in its present state, so this is the main reason for taking off one star.
Unfortunately, since my original review, they've failed to make any significant updates. It seems they are no longer interested in developing Peppertype. There have been long periods with no updates or communication. They've made a few minimal effort updates to the interface, seemingly to make it look like the service isn't completely abandoned. However, there is a ton of competition in the AI writing space, and many other services have constantly been updating and improving.
At least the service still seems to work. I have not been using it actively, but it still seems to work well enough when I have used it. I've heard several users say the output is not as good anymore, but I have not noticed this personally. I will continue to use it. For some things, it can be better than ChatGPT since its focuses on specific short-form content types and isn't locked down as much as ChatGPT. However, I will only use it because I have a lifetime plan without monthly fees. Given its not received any worthwhile updates in a very long time and there are better alternatives to subscribe to, I would look elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It used to be a promising tool, but they have pulled a bait and switch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being an early adopter of Peppertype, I have had the chance to purchase a lifetime license with the promise of having all future updates included. However, Peppertype has pulled a classic bait and switch on the people who believed in them and have supported the product from the start by rebranding the useful parts of the product (claiming they're not part of the deal), locking them behind a paywall and prompting people to upgrade to a measly sum of $399 a month. This makes the product virtually useless unless you pay them. It's interesting to see a company's true nature laid bare once they reach escape velocity and have gained all they could from their early adopters. If you are looking for an AI content writing assistent and would like to support a morally upstanding company rather than an opportunistic, morally corrupt one, please look elsewhere. You can do much, much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
