Pepper data has been a leader in cloud performance for our enterprise. We specifically enable our tenants to use it for job time performance monitoring and to enable them to get accurate metrics on how well their jobs are performing and some metadata around those jobs. One of the major downsides we've had with the product has been around accuracy at higher intervals of time. Pepperdata can be difficult to setup on new nodes attached to our cloud infrastructure. When my team wanted to add a new server to perform computations, we would have had to go through quite a process to get Pepperdata-backed Jarfiles installed which would allow services to communicate and send info to the monitor. Looking up specific metrics takes a little digging around. It would be nice if some of the most relevant fields floated to the top for easy selection.
