## PeoplePerHour.com Reviews
 ### 1. Global Clients, Flexible Projects, and Secure Payments on PeoplePerHour

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MD Foysal Hossain O. | Digital Growth & E-Commerce Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

What I like most about PeoplePerHour is the opportunity to connect with clients from around the world and work on a wide variety of projects. The platform makes it easy to showcase skills, build long-term professional relationships, and help businesses achieve their goals through high-quality work. I also appreciate the secure payment system and the flexibility it provides for freelancers and clients alike.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

One thing I dislike is the withdrawal waiting period after receiving payment. Having to wait around 15 days before accessing funds can be frustrating for freelancers. It would be great if PeoplePerHour could reduce this waiting period, as faster access to earnings would improve the overall experience for freelancers on the platform.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour solves the challenge of connecting skilled freelancers with businesses that need professional services. It provides a trusted platform for finding quality clients, managing projects, and handling payments securely. This benefits me by allowing me to focus on delivering results for clients while having access to a global marketplace of opportunities and a streamlined workflow for communication, project management, and payments.

 ### 2. A Reliable Platform for Professional Freelancers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olha M. | Architectural Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

What I like most about PeoplePerHour is the quality of the projects and the straightforward communication with clients. The platform makes it easy to submit proposals, discuss project details through WorkStream, and manage payments securely. I've also found that many clients provide clear briefs and are open to discussing the scope of work before a project begins, which helps establish realistic expectations and leads to smoother collaborations.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

One area that could be improved is the way the platform handles freelancer location. My profile location changed automatically after travelling abroad, which affected how my profile was presented until it was corrected. It would be helpful if users could manage or confirm their working location more easily. Apart from that, my overall experience with the platform has been very positive.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour helps me connect with clients . The platform provides a straightforward way to present proposals, discuss project requirements, manage payments securely, and build long-term relationships with clients. It has enabled me to focus more on delivering high-quality design work while spending less time on administration and finding new projects.

 ### 3. Excellent for Lead Gen, Frustrating for Cash Flow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arkadiusz H. | Freelance DevOps Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

PeoplePerHour is an excellent platform that consistently connects me with a wide range of international clients. It has been particularly effective for finding and assisting EU and UK businesses with their infrastructure and privacy compliance needs. The platform's interface is straightforward, making it easy to manage proposals, track ongoing projects, and maintain clear communication without unnecessary administrative overhead.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

The biggest downside is the frustratingly slow payout system. There is a standard 14-day holding period for earnings, but instead of an automatic release, you are forced to manually request payments. From there, you have to wait another 24 to 48 hours at best just to see your money, which is incredibly slow and inconvenient for freelancers managing their cash flow.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform solves the problem of finding vetted, high-quality contract work without heavy administrative or marketing overhead. The main benefit to my business is a steady pipeline of European and British clients who need specialized technical expertise. It handles the initial discovery and secure contracting phases, allowing me to jump straight into project execution.

 ### 4. High-Quality Clients and Straightforward Pitching on PeoplePerHour

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric M. | Digital Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

What I value most is the quality of the clients I connect with. PeoplePerHour tends to attract serious UK and European SMEs who know what they want, which usually leads to clearer project briefs and more longer-term relationships rather than just one-off jobs.

I also like how straightforward it is to pitch for projects that are a good fit. The proposal system lets me highlight the most relevant experience for each brief instead of competing purely on price, and that approach has worked well across the different niches I work in.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

The withdrawal process takes longer than I’d like, and it can be frustrating waiting for the funds to actually clear after a project is finished.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of finding consistent, quality client work without having to constantly chase new business on my own. For me, that translates into a steady pipeline of leads across different niches from e-commerce brand strategy to nonprofit content work so I can stay focused on delivering great work rather than hunting for the next gig.

 ### 5. A Global Platform That Helped Grow My Freelance Career

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MD MEHEDI H. | 3D Visualizer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

What I like best about PeoplePerHour is the opportunity to connect with clients from around the world and work on a wide variety of projects. The platform makes it easy to showcase my skills, communicate with clients, and build long-term professional relationships. It has helped me grow my freelance career while working on projects that match my expertise.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

What I dislike most is the high level of competition, which can make it difficult for new freelancers to win projects. I also think the platform could improve project moderation and reduce service fees for freelancers.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour connects freelancers with clients worldwide, making it easier to find quality projects without spending time on traditional job searches. It provides a secure platform for communication, payments, and project management, allowing me to focus on delivering high-quality architectural visualization services and growing my freelance business.

 ### 6. Your Reliable Platform for Freelance Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Testimony B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I use PeoplePerHour.com to connect with clients, find freelance opportunities, and manage projects and payments securely online. What I like most about the platform is how easy it is to connect with clients, manage projects, and handle payments securely all in one place. It saves time and makes my freelance work much more organized. It also simplifies communication with clients, keeps projects easy to track, and gives me confidence that payments are handled professionally and securely. The initial setup was easy and quite straightforward, and creating a profile and sending proposals didn't take much time at all.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

The main drawback is the high competition and the occasional delays in support responses. They could improve freelancer visibility by better matching skills to projects and reducing low quality proposals. Faster support responses and more accessible help options will also improve the experience.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PeoplePerHour.com to connect with clients, find freelance opportunities, and manage projects and payments securely online. It saves time by organizing my freelance work, simplifies communication with clients, and ensures secure and professional payment handling.

 ### 7. Simple, Global Platform for Finding Freelance Projects That Fit

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Engr. Daniel F. | Remote Structural/Civil Engineer - Aluminum Cover Systems, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

What I like most about PeoplePerHour is how it connects freelancers with clients from around the world, which makes it easier to find projects that truly fit my skills and experience. The platform is simple and straightforward to use, and it offers a broad range of opportunities to choose from.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

What I dislike is that some clients aren’t always serious or transparent, which can still end up wasting a freelancer’s time at times, even with the platform’s safeguards in place.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour helps address the challenge of connecting freelancers with clients who need their services. It offers a platform where I can find projects, showcase my skills, and collaborate with clients from different parts of the world. For me, this creates more opportunities to earn income, expand my experience, and build long-term professional relationships.

 ### 8. Fantastic for Connecting with Serious UK & European Clients in PR and Media

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

As a PR specialist and freelance journalist, finding clients who value high-quality editorial work and media strategy can be a challenge on generalized platforms. PeoplePerHour stands out because it attracts serious businesses—particularly UK and European SMEs—that have clear project briefs and realistic budgets for professional communication.

The proposal system is highly intuitive, allowing me to tailor my pitches to showcase relevant portfolio pieces and past media coverage rather than just competing on price. I also highly appreciate the secure escrow system; it gives me peace of mind knowing that my work is financially protected before I begin writing or executing a PR campaign.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

The main drawback is the 14-day clearance holding period for funds, which can be frustrating for managing freelance cash flow, especially on quick-turnaround media projects.

Additionally, because the platform is so popular, writing and content niches can experience high competition very quickly. It would be beneficial if the platform introduced a better filtering or cool-down mechanism to prevent jobs from being flooded with rapid, low-quality proposals before expert freelancers even get a chance to see the brief.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour solves the problem of local market limitations and the administrative burden of cold outreach. Finding high-quality, international clients who specifically need specialized media relations and content writing can be incredibly time-consuming.

The platform benefits me by acting as a trusted intermediary. It bridges the gap between my business and established UK/EU SMEs. Instead of spending hours managing contracts, invoices, and payment tracking across different borders, the all-in-one escrow and workspace features allow me to focus entirely on delivering great PR campaigns and editorial work. It keeps my workflow structured, secures my income, and streamlines my business development.

 ### 9. Reliable platform for finding freelance work securely

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tesfaye T G. | Freelancer (service provider), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

What I like best about PeoplePerHour.com is its easy-to-use interface and all-in-one workflow. I can quickly find jobs, send proposals, communicate with clients, and manage payments securely through escrow. It saves time, runs smoothly, and helps me build long-term client relationships while earning consistently.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

One downside of PeoplePerHour.com is the limited number of proposal credits, which can make it difficult to apply for multiple jobs, especially for new freelancers. The competition is also quite high, so it’s not always easy to stand out.

Additionally, the platform fees can feel a bit high on smaller projects, reducing overall earnings. The job matching system could be improved with better AI recommendations to show more relevant opportunities.

It also has limited file uploading. Uploading a file larger than 1 MB fails.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using PeoplePerHour.com, it was difficult to consistently find reliable freelance clients and manage secure payments. I struggled with reaching international clients and handling trust issues in transactions.

Now, the platform solves this by providing a structured marketplace with verified clients, job listings, and an escrow payment system. This has made it easier to get steady work, communicate clearly with clients, and receive secure payments on time. As a result, I’ve saved time on client acquisition and improved my income stability through repeat projects and long-term collaborations.

 ### 10. Great Client Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damir K. | Primary Illustrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

It’s still a site where you can get noticed. I’ve been bidding on other sites too, and I’m not sure what their deal is, but I get very little engagement there. The clients are also another great example. It's seems to be a much nicer crowd of people at least from the interactions I have had. I also get paid quickly as oppose to other sites.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

Going on the point I just made previously, I get paid quickly by clients but waiting 14 days for my money is a little high. I would be okay with 5 days for smaller sums and 10 for something a little bigger. Depending on the job sometimes it's difficult to be among the first 20 to bid, too many people bidding at once. I wish there was some cool down time between bids so that a person or agency can't take up every job or rather spam would be a better way of putting it. I see people bidding on things they are clearly not an expert in. It would make you think before bidding on everything because the cool down time can cost you the next job that might be the one. Just an idea

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving a very real problem, finding clients, not just jobs. I also do cold outreach and direct emails to various companies, but sadly with little success. On PPH I've been fortunate to land quite a few good clients who have become repeat customers.

 ### 11. Great Clients and a Helpful Offers System on PeoplePerHour (PPH)

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ratih D. | Virtual assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

PeoplePerHour (PPH) was the first platform where I found clients for remote work. So far, the clients I have worked with have been fair, provided clear instructions, appreciated the work delivered, and communicated professionally. One feature I find very helpful is the “Offers” system, which allows freelancers to showcase their services and set a fixed price without using the monthly bid quota (which is limited to 15 free bids). Additionally, when receiving an invitation from a client, submitting a proposal does not reduce the bid quota. Even when my profile was still new, I was able to receive invitations to submit proposals, which helped me start gaining projects on the platform.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

One downside of PeoplePerHour (PPH) is the limited number of free bids available each month, which can make it difficult for new freelancers to apply to many projects. Competition can also be quite high for certain categories, so it may take time to secure the first few projects. Sometimes clients may not respond after posting a job or inviting proposals, and in some cases buyers cancel projects after posting them, which can make the process a bit uncertain for freelancers.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour helps solve the challenge of finding clients and remote work opportunities in one place. For freelancers, it reduces the difficulty of reaching international clients and marketing services independently. The platform provides a structured system where freelancers can showcase their skills, submit proposals, and manage projects with secure communication and payment processes. This helps me connect with clients globally, gain work experience, and build a professional portfolio while working remotely.

 ### 12. A great platform to use for freelance work, + very good customer support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emilie P. | French Content Analyst @Google via Highspring, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I’ve been on PeoplePerHour since 2019 and have had consistent work ever since. I’ve met incredible customers, and with some of them I’ve built an ongoing relationship. The platform is easy to use, and the escrow system gives me peace of mind when it comes to payment. Also, PPH customer support is outstanding and generally responds quite fast. It’s my go-to platform for finding work, and I’m very thankful for it.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I had an isolated incident related to a payment. A buyer changed their payment method, and it took three months for PPH to resolve the issue and release the money. Since it was a fairly large amount, it left me quite frustrated, and I shared feedback with PPH because there is definitely room for improvement in how this type of situation is handled.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I never hesitate to contact PPH customer support when I have a question or when there’s an issue with a buyer. I always receive a prompt, thoughtful response, along with clear steps to resolve the problem and an explanation of how they can help.

 ### 14. Reliable, Simple, and Client-Rich Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vitalii B. | iOS Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I use PeoplePerHour.com as a freelance platform for my work. It's been a reliable source of clients and projects for more than 13 years. I like its clear and straightforward platform with a simplicity that makes it easy to navigate. The accessible fees structure is an advantage, as I see PeoplePerHour.com's fees as lower than those of competitors and one of the reasons it's my main freelance platform. I also appreciate the easy communication with clients through the chat feature, which has allowed me to build successful long-term relationships with a number of clients who continue to come back. This platform has a special place in my heart.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I miss the absence of an iOS client app, and I believe the PeoplePerHour.com UI can also be improved. As a web developer, I think using more UI frameworks like Shadcn would be beneficial.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour.com is a reliable source of clients and projects, offering simplicity, accessible fees, easy communication, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

 ### 15. A reliable and freelancer friendly platform with room for improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Omar P. | Full-Stack Web & Mobile Developer | AI, Website & App Development, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

PeoplePerHour is very easy to use and feels safe for both freelancers and clients. The payment system is reliable, and disputes are usually handled fairly and in a timely way. I also appreciate how the platform protects freelancers by holding funds securely and keeping communication organized within the system, which makes the whole process feel more structured and trustworthy.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

Overall, there isn’t much to dislike, but one recurring issue is the number of fake or inactive job posts that stay open for a long time without being awarded. This often leads to wasted proposal credits. It would feel much fairer if these jobs were automatically closed after a set period and the credits were refunded. The proposal credit pricing and the service commission also seem quite high, and even a small reduction would make a noticeable difference for freelancers.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour helps address the challenge of limited job opportunities by connecting freelancers with clients around the world. It lets me work independently, select projects that fit my skills, and earn income on a flexible schedule. At the same time, it supports a professional way of working and provides a sense of security.

 ### 16. Love the platform. I have been here at least since 2016 and it is always a great experience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego P. | Industrial Designer -3D Animation and Art Direction - Co founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2024

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

The exposure and the chance to gain new clients almost effortlessly.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

Sometimes, people who post projects offer very low pay, maybe thinking they’ll get a great bargain. In my view, that approach usually just lowers the quality of work and the level of service they end up receiving. But most times tend to pass on those kinds of projects, as they usually bring problems with people asking more work than what was initially agreed.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it very easy to get paid and do business on the platform. And it helps me get exposure and find new clients.

 ### 17. A Helpful Platform for Growing My Freelance Career

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yohan R. | Online Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

What I like best about PeoplePerHour is how easy it is to connect with clients and find quality projects. The platform is user-friendly, payments are secure, and it helps freelancers build long-term relationships with clients. I also like that it supports clear communication and fair work terms, which makes freelancing more professional and reliable.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

Sometimes the competition can be high, which makes it harder for new freelancers to win projects. The service fees can also feel a bit high on smaller jobs. It would be great to have more tools to support long-term client relationships and reduce fees for loyal users.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour solves the problem of finding reliable clients and projects online. It connects freelancers with businesses that need specific skills, saving time on job searching. For me, it provides a steady source of work, secure payments, and a professional platform to showcase my skills. This helps me grow my freelance career and income with more confidence.

 ### 18. An easy-to-use service that works quickly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrii S. | Head of the Design Department, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I like that clients hire me instead of me having to look for work myself. That way, I can focus on doing the work rather than looking for it. The chat feature with the clients who hire me is also quite convenient.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

There is a very limited file size limit for files that can be uploaded directly to a chat with a client. No smartphone app

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The PPO Service Reduces the Time It Takes for Me to Find a Job

 ### 19. Professional Platform with Rock-Solid Trust

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Osama S. | Specialist in Microsoft 365 & Power Platform Innovations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I use PeoplePerHour.com to connect with potential clients and deliver freelance services in a professional and structured environment. I appreciate how the platform maintains quality by reducing noisy or low-quality interactions. The escrow system helps solve the payment and delivery trust issues, which is especially important when working remotely. I also like the platform's simplicity and professionalism as well as the privacy measures that allow me to showcase my work without worrying about portfolio misuse I also had a positive experience with the help center and customer support, who were helpful and understanding when resolving questions. Their approach felt supportive rather than strict, especially when dealing with early-stage issues. Additionally, I appreciate the transparent fee structure. For example the freelancers' service fees decrease from 20% down to 7.5% once a £250 billing threshold is reached between the same client and freelancer. Overall, the initial setup was straightforward and easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

There isn't much I dislike so far, but one area that could be improved is the freelancer portfolio editing experience. The editing interface feels a bit basic from a UI/UX perspective. although it functions correctly.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour.com helps freelancers connect with clients in a reliable and professional environment while addressing common trust issues around payments and project delivery through its escrow system.

 ### 20. Efficient Freelancer Matching, Needs UI Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eytan B. | Multi-sport company, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I like the layout of PeoplePerHour.com. When it comes to finding a freelancer and reviewing their proposals, it enables me to look through each one of them, check their ratings, their experiences, and all that kind of stuff. I like it from that point of view because it helps me filter out who is a competent freelancer and who’s not.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I think in the inbox section, when I look at messages and notifications, it looks a bit confusing. I think there's an easier way of making the layout better. A more smoother layout. So it's clearer to see who's messaged you. Because I think there's so many boxes going on here. It needs to be more user-friendly.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PeoplePerHour.com to find skilled freelancers to complete complex tasks like website design, backend development, and enhance my business with their expertise. It helps me solve problems beyond my own skill set.

I love using PeoplePerHour.com for getting genuine clients and projects related to web development. It's a trusted platform that helps me connect with authentic clients. The cert level boosting is great for freelancers, encouraging us to work more and improve our rankings. The initial setup was good, making it easy to get started.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

If a project is not assigned to any freelancer within a week, it should be auto-canceled, and freelancers should get their credit back to avoid losing credits. Also, the payment holding period of 14 days is too long. Sometimes projects run longer than expected, and freelancers then have to wait another 14 days to clear the payment.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PeoplePerHour.com to get genuine clients and projects in Web Development. It's a trusted platform that boosts cert level, encouraging freelancers to work more and improve their rankings.

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

For me, PPH is holding the kind of work where I can utilize my skills best, of all the freelance platforms I worked so far, also the administrative part of the platform is very good and reliable, so I feel protected.

Not that much clients appear with job offerings. I feel like it used to be more...

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well I think the providing of the work is the only answer.

 ### 23. Fast, Feature-Rich Platform That Makes Client Support Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter M. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

It connects me, as a specialist, with people I can support and help directly.

Their support has always been really good, although because the interface is so straightforward there's almost never a need for support. :)

The site loads quickly despite being so fully featured.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

The messaging system could be improved slightly to improve comms with clients.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They're my main way to find clients. Absolutely my primary lead gen tool. Over the years, as just one person, I've invoiced nearly a million pound through PPH.

 ### 24. Ideal for freelancers and scaling income

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adonis A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I like the Offers system on PeoplePerHour.com because it creates a predictable sales funnel, simplifies client decision-making, and reduces negotiation costs. The quality of the audience is also important to me, as it leads to a decent average check and high conversion with the right portfolio and offers. A transparent deal structure provides financial protection, clear staging reduces risks, and formalized communication minimizes conflict situations. Ratings and reviews serve as social proof, which directly affects CTR and conversion. I appreciate that the accumulated rating works as a long-term asset and reduces the need to 'sell from scratch.' The central ecosystem allows me to manage all processes in one interface, simplifying operational management and focusing on production.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

Visibility Algorithm: opaque logic of ranking Offers and profiles, difficult start for new offers, limited organic traffic without external bonus. Commission Model: high commission on initial turnovers, weakly motivates scaling within the platform as income grows. Price Competition: pressure from dumping, requires strong differentiation and packaging to maintain position. Can be improved: increase transparency in the ranking algorithm, improve customer filtering and quality of briefs.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PeoplePerHour.com to attract clients, enter the international market, and monetize skills. The platform offers an Offers system, improving income and reducing negotiation costs. The high quality of the audience and transparency of deals reduce risks and facilitate professional management.

 ### 25. Great range of freelancers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I like being able to find a wide range of freelancers for the different projects I work on, without being limited by location or country. There are options to suit different budgets, and the reviews help give confidence when choosing who to work with. It’s also reassuring to know that PPH will step in to help resolve any issues if they arise.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

The main downside for me is the level of fees and commissions, which can feel quite high at times.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier to find skilled freelancers quickly for a wide range of projects. It saves time compared to searching independently and gives access to different price points to suit budgets.

 ### 26. Effortless Client Connectivity and Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Al amin H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I use PeoplePerHour.com for remote jobs, and I have had a great experience so far. The platform helps me find clients from different regions, which is hard to do in my area. I like the Offer feature the most because I don't need to bid on jobs; people find me through my offers, allowing me to focus on my work rather than finding clients. The initial setup was quite user-friendly and easy to get started. I'd recommend PeoplePerHour.com, especially to my fellow designers, without hesitation.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I used to have a mobile application of PeoplePerHour.com that is no longer available. I think you should consider this application for freelancers.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour.com helps me find clients from different regions, which is hard to do in my area. I love the offer feature; it lets people find me through my offers, so I can focus on my work instead of searching for clients.

PeoplePerHour.com is the best freelance platform I’ve come across. It’s very easy to use and offers a user-friendly experience overall. The platform provide a secure transaction, which protect both the buyers and the freelancer. As a freelancer I have had a successful journey so far. Most of the clients are professionals and easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

One downside of PeoplePerHour.com is that it contains a high volume of low-quality or scam project invitations. Another downside is that it charges a very high commission fee.

PeoplePerHour.com is a powerful platform for freelancers. Using this platform has helped me build my career as an entrepreneur. I’ve met many different types of clients from around the world, and it has benefited me a lot both personally and professionally.

 ### 29. Reliable Freelance Platform with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adnan K. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I really appreciate how PeoplePerHour.com helps me find reliable clients and manage projects easily, all in one trusted platform. It makes it easy to connect with clients, showcase my skills, and get paid securely. This platform saves me time and effort while giving me confidence that my work and payments are protected. Its combination of project discovery, communication, and secure payment simplifies everything. Plus, the initial setup was very straightforward, allowing me to quickly create a profile, showcase my skills, and start applying for projects.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

While PeoplePerHour.com is very useful, one area that could be improved is the project search and matching system. Sometimes finding the right projects takes longer than expected. A more refined filtering system or smarter recommendations would make it easier to connect with the most relevant clients. Additionally, many profiles seem fake, which wastes time. Some shared links like GitHub or any repository link may contain viruses, and clients sometimes raise costs unexpectedly, making it hard to fully trust new clients.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour.com helps me find reliable clients, manage projects, and receive secure payments. It connects me with clients globally, lets me offer professional services flexibly, and supports communication, project management, and relationship building in one place.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I would suggest that PPH add a time tracker and also analyze buyer profiles before making a decision against a freelancer.

 ### 32. Very Easy to Use with an Attractive, Activity-Focused Dashboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Asif Q. | Full Stack Web Developer | Agentic AI Automation Enginerr, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

The platform serves beginners just as well as experienced freelancers.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I think there should be more flexibility in the clearing period for freelance funds, and it shouldn’t automatically be 14 days if my income over the past two months is less than £2,000.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform helps freelancers connect with clients who are looking for our services.

 ### 34. Great for Freelancers with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Utsav K. | Software Developer

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I like that with PeoplePerHour.com, I can report someone if they're acting unethically or trying to do some work outside of the platform. The feature lets me raise queries to the customer care, and they resolve my issues very carefully.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I believe in the field of commission, for the first client, using a 20% commission is quite high for me. I think it should be at least 15% or 10%. Another thing that should be improved is the invoice section. Sometimes we have to download the invoice and show it to financial institutions, and this feature has not that great report output. I request the team to improve the invoice and statement features to be in a more easily understandable format.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour.com gathers many clients from the UK, offers good commissions for long-term projects, and allows reporting of spam or unethical practices.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had an issue with my profile location, but this was resolved quickly by the customer support team at PPH.

 ### 36. Great Flexibility but High Commissions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karan S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I like the freedom of choosing who to work with and setting my own prices on PeoplePerHour.com. I appreciate not having to go to a 9-5 job or working for a fixed salary for a fixed number of hours. The setup was very easy 9 years back, and I had no issues using it. Also, I do receive some inquiries from new clients every 2-4 months, which is good.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

They stopped us from putting up new services which we could offer for a fixed price, commission is too high and don't get too many clicks. People with ridiculously low budgets exploiting artists like us should be banned.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeoplePerHour.com lets me avoid a 9-5 job and gives me the freedom to work as a freelancer, choosing who to work with and setting my own prices.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

 ### 41. Reliable Platform with Great Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen R.

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I like the layout of PeoplePerHour.com and how you can build a portfolio to get good reviews to impress potential buyers. I've always received good customer support when I've needed it. Having your buyer deposit into your project so you can see they've already paid is great. It gives me the confidence that if I put in the time and effort to complete a project, they won't just run away without paying. Our profile really took off on PeoplePerHour, which is why we use it the most, and the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

The video call feature could be better, as it feels clunky and slow. Also, email notifications from PeoplePerHour.com aren't instant, which can lead to waiting for someone respond.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find new clients and ensure they pay up-front and on-time with PeoplePerHour.com, boosting my confidence in completing projects.

 ### 42. People Per Hour helps me vet buyers with purchase history and reviews

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Executive Office | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?**

People Per Hour shows how many purchases a buyer has made, along with the reviews freelancers have left for that buyer. This helps other freelancers like me make a more informed decision about whether to submit a proposal.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

There are a couple of buyers on here who are most definitely fake. When you reverse-search their images, they turn out to be stock photos or photos of someone else. People Per Hour needs to do more stringent screening of buyers.

**What problems is PeoplePerHour.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not sure.

I like the overall system of PeoplePerHour.com and how it helps connect freelancers with clients to get the job done. I also appreciate how easy the initial setup was.

**What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?**

I don't like the bid system restrictions on PeoplePerHour.com. When I try to bid, let's say $50, the system says no, you can't bid less than a specific amount, and asks to increase the bid price. Also, when someone buys an offer, there should be a button for freelancers to accept or reject it within a specific time period after looking at the requirements.
