"Reliable platform for finding freelance work securely"
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

What I like best about PeoplePerHour.com is its easy-to-use interface and all-in-one workflow. I can quickly find jobs, send proposals, communicate with clients, and manage payments securely through escrow. It saves time, runs smoothly, and helps me build long-term client relationships while earning consistently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

One downside of PeoplePerHour.com is the limited number of proposal credits, which can make it difficult to apply for multiple jobs, especially for new freelancers. The competition is also quite high, so it’s not always easy to stand out.

Additionally, the platform fees can feel a bit high on smaller projects, reducing overall earnings. The job matching system could be improved with better AI recommendations to show more relevant opportunities.

It also has limited file uploading. Uploading a file larger than 1 MB fails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Client Engagement"
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

It’s still a site where you can get noticed. I’ve been bidding on other sites too, and I’m not sure what their deal is, but I get very little engagement there. The clients are also another great example. It's seems to be a much nicer crowd of people at least from the interactions I have had. I also get paid quickly as oppose to other sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

Going on the point I just made previously, I get paid quickly by clients but waiting 14 days for my money is a little high. I would be okay with 5 days for smaller sums and 10 for something a little bigger. Depending on the job sometimes it's difficult to be among the first 20 to bid, too many people bidding at once. I wish there was some cool down time between bids so that a person or agency can't take up every job or rather spam would be a better way of putting it. I see people bidding on things they are clearly not an expert in. It would make you think before bidding on everything because the cool down time can cost you the next job that might be the one. Just an idea Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Clients and a Helpful Offers System on PeoplePerHour (PPH)"
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

PeoplePerHour (PPH) was the first platform where I found clients for remote work. So far, the clients I have worked with have been fair, provided clear instructions, appreciated the work delivered, and communicated professionally. One feature I find very helpful is the “Offers” system, which allows freelancers to showcase their services and set a fixed price without using the monthly bid quota (which is limited to 15 free bids). Additionally, when receiving an invitation from a client, submitting a proposal does not reduce the bid quota. Even when my profile was still new, I was able to receive invitations to submit proposals, which helped me start gaining projects on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

One downside of PeoplePerHour (PPH) is the limited number of free bids available each month, which can make it difficult for new freelancers to apply to many projects. Competition can also be quite high for certain categories, so it may take time to secure the first few projects. Sometimes clients may not respond after posting a job or inviting proposals, and in some cases buyers cancel projects after posting them, which can make the process a bit uncertain for freelancers. "A great platform to use for freelance work, + very good customer support!"
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

I’ve been on PeoplePerHour since 2019 and have had consistent work ever since. I’ve met incredible customers, and with some of them I’ve built an ongoing relationship. The platform is easy to use, and the escrow system gives me peace of mind when it comes to payment. Also, PPH customer support is outstanding and generally responds quite fast. It’s my go-to platform for finding work, and I’m very thankful for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

I had an isolated incident related to a payment. A buyer changed their payment method, and it took three months for PPH to resolve the issue and release the money. Since it was a fairly large amount, it left me quite frustrated, and I shared feedback with PPH because there is definitely room for improvement in how this type of situation is handled. "A reliable and freelancer friendly platform with room for improvement"
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

PeoplePerHour is very easy to use and feels safe for both freelancers and clients. The payment system is reliable, and disputes are usually handled fairly and in a timely way. I also appreciate how the platform protects freelancers by holding funds securely and keeping communication organized within the system, which makes the whole process feel more structured and trustworthy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

Overall, there isn’t much to dislike, but one recurring issue is the number of fake or inactive job posts that stay open for a long time without being awarded. This often leads to wasted proposal credits. It would feel much fairer if these jobs were automatically closed after a set period and the credits were refunded. The proposal credit pricing and the service commission also seem quite high, and even a small reduction would make a noticeable difference for freelancers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Helpful Platform for Growing My Freelance Career"
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

What I like best about PeoplePerHour is how easy it is to connect with clients and find quality projects. The platform is user-friendly, payments are secure, and it helps freelancers build long-term relationships with clients. I also like that it supports clear communication and fair work terms, which makes freelancing more professional and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

Sometimes the competition can be high, which makes it harder for new freelancers to win projects. The service fees can also feel a bit high on smaller jobs. It would be great to have more tools to support long-term client relationships and reduce fees for loyal users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Freelancer Matching, Needs UI Improvements"
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

I like the layout of PeoplePerHour.com. When it comes to finding a freelancer and reviewing their proposals, it enables me to look through each one of them, check their ratings, their experiences, and all that kind of stuff. I like it from that point of view because it helps me filter out who is a competent freelancer and who’s not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

I think in the inbox section, when I look at messages and notifications, it looks a bit confusing. I think there's an easier way of making the layout better. A more smoother layout. So it's clearer to see who's messaged you. Because I think there's so many boxes going on here. It needs to be more user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ideal for freelancers and scaling income"
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

I like the Offers system on PeoplePerHour.com because it creates a predictable sales funnel, simplifies client decision-making, and reduces negotiation costs. The quality of the audience is also important to me, as it leads to a decent average check and high conversion with the right portfolio and offers. A transparent deal structure provides financial protection, clear staging reduces risks, and formalized communication minimizes conflict situations. Ratings and reviews serve as social proof, which directly affects CTR and conversion. I appreciate that the accumulated rating works as a long-term asset and reduces the need to 'sell from scratch.' The central ecosystem allows me to manage all processes in one interface, simplifying operational management and focusing on production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

Visibility Algorithm: opaque logic of ranking Offers and profiles, difficult start for new offers, limited organic traffic without external bonus. Commission Model: high commission on initial turnovers, weakly motivates scaling within the platform as income grows. Price Competition: pressure from dumping, requires strong differentiation and packaging to maintain position. Can be improved: increase transparency in the ranking algorithm, improve customer filtering and quality of briefs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Client Connectivity and Workflow"
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

I use PeoplePerHour.com for remote jobs, and I have had a great experience so far. The platform helps me find clients from different regions, which is hard to do in my area. I like the Offer feature the most because I don't need to bid on jobs; people find me through my offers, allowing me to focus on my work rather than finding clients. The initial setup was quite user-friendly and easy to get started. I'd recommend PeoplePerHour.com, especially to my fellow designers, without hesitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

I used to have a mobile application of PeoplePerHour.com that is no longer available. I think you should consider this application for freelancers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"PeoplePerHour.com: Easy to Use, Secure Transactions, and Professional Clients"
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

PeoplePerHour.com is the best freelance platform I’ve come across. It’s very easy to use and offers a user-friendly experience overall. The platform provide a secure transaction, which protect both the buyers and the freelancer. As a freelancer I have had a successful journey so far. Most of the clients are professionals and easy to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

One downside of PeoplePerHour.com is that it contains a high volume of low-quality or scam project invitations. Another downside is that it charges a very high commission fee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
