**What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?**

I appreciate how PeopleGuru HCM centralizes all HR functions in one unified, GDPR-compliant system while keeping the interface intuitive for both our HR team and employees. The employee self-service portal is a huge win—allowing staff to manage their own information, request time off, and access pay documents independently, which drastically cuts down on administrative busywork. I also really value its reliable payroll accuracy and built-in compliance tools, reducing errors and giving us peace of mind concerning local labor and data protection rules. The workflow and event-driven automation streamline onboarding, approvals, and daily HR tasks, making them far smoother and more consistent. It actively streamlines our entire people operations in a way that scales well for our team size.

**What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?**

A few areas feel less polished and could use refinement. The reporting module is functional but lacks customization flexibility—we often have to export data to spreadsheets to create the specific compliance and workforce reports we need for our German operations. Some of the event‑driven automation rules are also less intuitive to set up without extra support, requiring more trial and error than expected.

**What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?**

PeopleGuru has streamlined a lot of my payroll processes and it is nice the time keeping registers automatically for employees. 

It is nice having one support person to deal wtih as they are intune with your business nature and your primary needs.

I use the platform every single day.

**What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?**

I sometimes feel like the system can be difficult to navigate for things that I'm looking for. I understand some of the nuances because of spending time in the system, however, there are some features I believe the system is capable of, but the ease of use isn't always there.

Support is available, however, the support ticketing system can sometimes be cumbersome. I spend a majority of my time in the platform and in my email. I sometimes wish there were other support options that didn't involve the ticketing system.

Using PeopleGuru helps me manage some of my time more effeciently.

**What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?**

The knowledge PeopleGuru staff has, not just on the system, but also with state/local regulations, org. structures, building integrations with outside vendors (COBRA), and typically very quick responses to support related matters. Implmentation team was especially knowlegeable - they seemd know the payroll side, tax side, and were even familiar with back end configurations.

**What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?**

Limited customization with Time & Labor Management in accordance with our company policies (i.e. Half Hour paid lunch OR one hour unpaid - system can only hadle one, not both), limited customized reporting on payroll data, and the App doesn't have the same functionality as the web version.

**What problems is PeopleGuru HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accuracy of Paid Time Off Accruals is the main reason we switched to People Guru from our previous provider.  As of now, its seems People Guru is able to accurately track our different accrual rates and PTO policies.  Being able to have data we can reply on is huge - this saves us time and money.

**What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?**

We in my organisation, are using propleGuru. The one thing that I really like about it is the auto payroll feature. This has saved a lot of time for the HR team. For my team i liked that bu using that I can manage the timings and shifts of my team members that used to be a big challenge for me. I now have a good visibility of everyone's availablity and so i can manage my resource better.

**What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?**

Some features are a little hard to understand- like taxing etc are a little difficult to learn. Maybe we will get a knack of it by using it continiously

**What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?**

PeopleGuru allows for us to customize our platform to fit our business needs.  Having a robust backend for our leadership team helps provide insite into labor, employee needs, and compliance requirements.  While the employee interface keeps it simple for a practical use.

**What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?**

The implementation process was well thought out, however as things often do in business fully completing all acpects of the development became an issue.  This resulted in a rush to get complete and left us without all modules completed.  The Adhoc reporting feature is a incrediable tool, however it is cumbersome to develop your wanted reports.

**What problems is PeopleGuru HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PeopleGuru is a complete HRIS that allows us to streamline our HR and Payroll requirements.  With a minimal team operating these departments we are able to operate and ficilitate all our employee needs.

**What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?**

The performance review process. Once we learned how it works correctly. 
Payroll Module.
Having Cheryn be our rep, she has helped us learn so much in the short period of time she has been assigned to our account. 
Like we have a leave module, however we have not been shown how to work with it. 
Same for our LMS, would like to learn how to work with it.

**What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?**

Having to create a ticket for all and any questions I have, if I am not able to figure it out on my own. I have worked with other HRIS programs and was able to figure out things. 
Not having support during the weekends.

Payroll process.

**What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?**

I really like working with Bruce.  It's nice to email and call someone and they respond super promptly and get done what I need done.  I can always count on Bruce to fix or help me with anything that I have issues on.  I really like knowing that I have someone I can rely on to get our payroll done each week.

**What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?**

You are one of the more expensive payroll companies that I got quotes from (by several thousand).  We went with you because you guys did our time keeping system so it made sense to keep everything together.  Besides Bruce, I don't see the value.  I don't really like your portal/website.  I find it difficult to use and almost seems antiquated.  The reports that you have on there aren't really helpful to what I need and confusing as I think I should be getting one thing, but something else pops out.  

Also, I found the whole changing of the time clocks really frustrating and how you handled it was very poor.  During this time, I tried to call other memebers of PeopleGuru and they won't answer their phones or call me back.  Sometimes I just need to talk to soneone on the phone and not do this whole email/tickets thing.  

Even the whole implentation period was annoying.  I was sold that you guys would handle the 401k transfer, but no one got it set up during the implementation period so we had to do it after, and it took months.  This was months it could have been done during the implementation period.  

And I don't like how you do your tax calculations.  In my old system, when a person selected that their spouse works, my system had a tax table for that and took out more taxes just based on the person selecting that option.  When I select that option in your system, nothing changes unless I put in how much my spouse makes.  When I put in how much my spouse makes, you take out signifiantly more money then what is needed.  How can my old system, calculate this but not yours?

You do our payroll, so I don't have to be in office to process payroll.

**What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?**

The support team is my saving grace. I wasn't included in all the trainings when we brought People Guru on board and Pat and her team have been outstanding in providing me with any support need. They have always been willing to jump on a call and help me through a process, provide information regarding compliance issues or resolve last minute issues to get payroll processed timely. I would be lost without the support team.
I love the online onboarding component. It makes my life so much easier to send an employee a link and have all their data entered by the employee directly.
Being able to back track and make corrections mid payroll process is easy and very useful when you have several last minute subnmissions like us.

**What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?**

I struggle with reporting. Finding the right report or being able to create custom reports is a bit of a challenge.

We don't use the expense module. We started to but with the difficulties of getting hard copies out of the system for auditing purposes we discontinued.

PeopleGuru has made our payroll processes easier. They are communicative, always respond timely .

**What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?**

We like using all aspects of PG. Onboarding, Time & Attendace and Payroll.
It is very user friendly system.  Having eveything in one location is extremely time saving.
The customer support has improved every year. The portal is vital to directing questions to the appropreate team.
I enjoy the relationship I have built with Pat and Rosie (in the beginning) with HR questions.

I miss the days i could call and get right to who I needed. The portal was an ajustment but I have grown to rely on it as well.

I have used many payroll programs over the course of my career. I run a Bi-Weekly payroll and  PeopleGuru is very user friendly and provides all the information I would need for reports and audits. They are always ready to help whenever I have a question or need help with a problem, even though I am on the West Coast and they are on the East Coast. They have very friendly knowledgable staff working for them.  The implimentation to their system was seemless, even when we had to change corporate names, they did everything. 
I would Highly recommend PeopleGuru for all your payroll needs!

The platform which makes using HR, Payroll, Scheduling very easy and efficiently. It helped to minimise adminisratative tasks in better way. Great Customise reports, tabs and modules to enhance managment.

Sometimes, you can withdraw your requests on time offs. Many glitches and bugs with taxes. Some features are hard to use when it comes to beginner. Should add search feature.

**What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?**

The customer service is good. I usually get responses fairly quickly.

**What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?**

The system could be more robust. I would like more variety of reports. Their platform is pretty new compared to others, so I'm looking forward to them building out more features. I would also like to see more user friendly screens. For instance, when I add a filter to search for an employee by last name, I have to click on the filter again to open it up to search for the next person. It doesn't keep the filter open.

**What problems is PeopleGuru HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can get payroll done pretty quickly. Their error reports are very useful, which helps me to prevent incorrect payrolls or missing hours. I am able to get payroll processed and my after payroll reports done and submitted to my Finance team within a few hours due to their tools.

It was very intuitive which made it easier to learn than some other HCM software. Very clear and beautiful layout.

What I didn't like was more backend items but I wouldn't call them deal breakers.

The ease of use is what makes PG HCM standout the most. Very colorful platform as well. Most HCM software is very boring and monochromatic. The layout made it easy to learn and easy to navigate.

I like that all the reports  can be found in different format as well as you can create customized reports always with ease.

With this software I found no complaints to raise concerning it.

The best system with very committed team for customer support and great features for human resource management and I therefore highly recommend it.

This software enables you to have access to the tables in the backend of the system and you also spend less time for processing payroll.

**What do you like best about PeopleGuru HCM?**

The team at PeopleGuru is fantastic. I never felt pressured and was able to get into another service  that is really helping my company; They don't just sell the dream - they deliver :)

**What do you dislike about PeopleGuru HCM?**

I was nervous about the fact that they were a fairly new name, but their experience and delivery of services has quickly put that fear to rest. The product is very comprehensive couldn't find anything negative, would have liked to have local presence in Las vegas.

**Recommendations to others considering PeopleGuru HCM:**

We looked at 3 other major players. Each one talked about the theory of how things will work, and one even tried to seduce me into buying from them by taking my team out to a ballgame. That was nice, but ultimately their system wasn't as functional. Don't be fooled by sales tactics! Buy the product that will help your company grow! 

**What problems is PeopleGuru HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So much easier to process payroll with file upload that I used to enter hours manually. I also like all the reports I can get in different format as well as I can create customized reports.
