"Regional Sales Manager"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Backstory?

The fact that People Glass is integrated with salesforce I like.

It provides a good overview of all activities, appointments and i can quickly update the status of these so my management can manage the sales processes across the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backstory?

It took quite some time to set up the account and the specific overview which I needed to do my work.

It would have been helpful if this can be automated or made a video on how to install and set up the account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rick Reid of Backstory

Thank you for the feedback. I'll speak with our enablement teams about the best way to guide customers through setup!

"It is what Salesforce is not. Easy to use and easy to overview."
5/5
What do you like best about Backstory?

The Function that you ca create tasks, Events and Next steps directly out of the peopleglass overview without going back to salesforce. It is what salesfrce is not. Salesforce has all the data and peopleglass displays them and makes them edible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backstory?

Some funktions are not available but I guess this is more of an administration issue. Sometimes it is hard to find the fields you are looking for to display. Also you cant combine searches. If you choose Opportunity in the first step you cant go for contacts that have opportunitys in the second and then display those Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rick Reid of Backstory

Thanks for the feedback. We are glad you are finding PeopleGlass useful. We are always working to imporve it, in fact, look for a few release soon.

"Easy to use"
4/5
What do you like best about Backstory?

The ease to group filters on one page and see everything you need from your CRM on one single use tab. Also being able to have multiple pages up at once and easily jump back between them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backstory?

It often glitches and will either take forever to load or simply will not load for a day. This makes it hard when you are used to using PeopleGlass for the majority of your day. Also that you are not able to bulk update multiple sheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Overall Great Tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Backstory?

I like the flexability that this tool gives you to make edits in Salesforce. This tool also updates in real time so you do not have to wait once you have made the changes. I also really like that you can create a number of different sheets and share them with others. Once they have the sheet, they can make edits and it will not affect yours at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backstory?

One thing I dislike is the inability to create a report like interface. This tool is great if you need to edit a singular object like leads or accounts, however if you want to use combined report types (ie. Accounts with opportunities), then you cannot do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rick Reid of Backstory

Thanks for the feedback. This is a great request; our team is thinking about how to best solve this.

"Innovative Idea for Automating Salesforce Email Logging"
3/5
What do you like best about Backstory?

People.ai automates the tedious process of logging activities in SFDC. This saves sales reps time and ensures activities are tracked in CRM. This function creates a consistent systematized view of sales rep activity productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backstory?

Getting data mapped to the correct accounts can be challenging. As the People.ai user base grows, this creates data management challenges that multiply in the CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rick Reid of Backstory

Thanks for the review. Matching activity to accounts is one of the things we do best, but it can sometimes depend on your configuration - both on People.ai and CRM. Reach out to support@people.ai with more details and we can review your configuration to improve the matching rate.

"Great value after just a few days!"
4/5
What do you like best about Backstory?

Really simple and clean interface that allows me to interact directly with everything on SFDC. It is very intuitive and though I don't have much experience of competitors it is a real time saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backstory?

I haven't found anything in particular that I dislike, I'm still learning the tool but I've already streamlined my working day using this with some very simple sheet setups! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for nurturing and rewarding sales talent"
5/5
What do you like best about Backstory?

I really like the leaderboard function. Being able to benchmark myself across the wider organisation is helpful to know how many activities/outcomes I should be aiming for. It also allows me to see who the top performers are and I can easily reach out to them on slack to run me through their day so I can be a better salesperson! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backstory?

It would be great if there were more integrations to make the app easier to use. Integrating with Slack to post leaderboards and top performers in channel would be great for visibility. Weekly reports emailed/sent to a Slack channel would be cool. I would also like to see deeper integration with salesloft / gong / salesforce so there is a link between all activity rather than having one window open. Also a tutorial wouldn't go astray! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rick Reid of Backstory

Thank you for the great review! Also, thanks a ton for the specific feedback reintegrations, we'll send it to Product. I'm sure you've seen that we can connect to Slack for deals and meeting notes (URL below) , but we will definitely take the suggestion regarding leaderboards.

"Peopleglass has streamlined my workflow and created more transparency and organization in my role"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Backstory?

The filters are the most beneficial. The quality I appreciate is the layout of the dashboard. The best thing about this is the ease of use. it compares very well to competitiors Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backstory?

Downsides are the short learning curve. I have not come across any issues with my use thus far. I have not used it long enough to offer an areas for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"P.ai adding value for pipeline generation activities"
4/5
What do you like best about Backstory?

I like the concept of People.ai a lot. Had no previous experience with the platform and I'm impressed. Fast response rate and content loading. Innovative approach. Great insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backstory?

1. No export to excel capabilities are offered. A backend connection to SFDC has to be leveraged instead, which opens the door for potential functionality/cross-connect issues. That option is also more time-consuming, it's not a one-click.

2. Experienced certain difficulties with top-level menu navigation in the beginning. Found it not fully intuitive, but got used to it over time.

3. Too much "white space" when it comes to the web platform design. Would prefer a more condensed view so more data is visible on screen.

4. Would prefer to have history (previous quarters) data to compare current progress with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rick Reid of Backstory

Thanks for your review - glad that you like it. Thank you for your feedback, look for changes in the next few months that should address some of your questions.
